Good video man that was some good fish! I'm gonna have to make the hour drive down that way and fish that end of the guyandotte. Also been eyeing up the jackhammers lately just didn't want to commit with the price but I'll definitely grab one now lol
They feel and look like they’re made really well. I think chatter Baits in general are good for smallmouth this time of year. thanks for the support. I really appreciate it.
Can you tell me some places on that river where I can go catch a few smallmouth. I live in Foster so I could try the little Coal or big coal but I don’t know where to access. Any help would be appreciated.
Danville has an access location. anywhere from Logan to Gilbert is good. just started fishing the big coal last year. There’s some good places toward Whitesville. I usually check Google Earth or the maps to see where it’s not too deep and I canwade fish.
Love the channel and the smallmouth fishing man. Keep it up!! Just a little tip, make sure the fish close their mouth when you measure them. Just so you get the most accurate measurement, that's all. But you're killing it already this year brother. Maybe we can collab one day and go river fishing.
Awesome session Frank. I recently had luck with a KVD crank myself. They were munching. Glad to see the channel growth too. Keep it up.

Can you kayak fish on the Guyandotte River?
Yes, the only problem is I don’t have one. But it would be good to put a kayak on.
