      Thank you Suzie, right back at you. Easter Aquhorthies is probably my favourite Aberdeenshire circles also, it was the first recumbent I visited way back in 2008 and it is a complete circle as well.

    Very much appreciate your tour of the Aberdeenshire circles.I have researe=ched the recumbent stone circles of the southwest of Ireland quite extensively but have only managed to visit a couple of your Aberdeenshire circles to which there is an unknown and mysterious yet obvious connection.. So far. Your video has greatly enhanced my appreciation of your Scottish circles.Many thanks.

      @@BeforeCaledonia I know I'll find out when I actually watch the video, but do you go into the idea that the moon could be seen "dancing across" the verticle altar-type stones? I read that that's why they're so unique to that area of Scotland, because it's the only place where the moon aligned perfectly to get that effect :)

    The Ethical Skeptic himself went to Nine Stanes and found himself pulled towards the circle by some strange force. Uphill even, he knew where the circle was before his tour guide told the group just by the feeling of it pulling him towards its center.
    People with the oldest genetics from these areas are still coded to these sites. The sites are still operational, even today. But few can activate within themselves.

      Fascinating, I moved up here a few years ago. I had no idea at the time about the stone circle close to where I chose to build a house. The only thing I can say is that I felt such a strong pull and energy to the land that I made the decision there and then to purchase. It’s incredible energy here.

    Do we know the ancients viewed some stones as “male” or “female”? It’s an interesting concept, and some of the stones definitely seem to our eyes to be, but we have a different view of the world than they did.

    • @BeforeCaledonia
      @BeforeCaledonia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some of the stones certainly have a male phalic shape.

    • @norfair86
      @norfair86 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BeforeCaledoniayes they do, but perhaps we see phalluses in more places than they did. As to the “female” stones, I personally don’t see it. I’m just wondering if it’s fair to call them male or female stones in the context of what the ancients were doing, since it’s speculation based on modern sensibilities.

    • @BeforeCaledonia
      @BeforeCaledonia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The female stones are the triangular of Dimond shaped stones. At Avebury the stones alternate between the male phalic shape and the diamond female shape or it could be yin, yang or negative, positive.

    • @norfair86
      @norfair86 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Excellent work!!!....
    Like stonehenge , these recumbent stones are actually body parts from the giants of old,
    So when u said it looked like a penis , its becoz it actually is a penis.
    Its the first time I've heard of them and in my opinion the three stones that are always placed beside each other are made up of a heart with a lung either side.
    And that's how they would naturally have been found in situ after the great flood, they then would of made a circle with the rest of the body parts(fingers toes, penisis) , its true the earth is a carcass,, merry xmas
    Nothing to do with farming or astronomy , its to payhomage to the giants that perished in the flood

    • @BeforeCaledonia
      @BeforeCaledonia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! I have heard Michael Tellinger talk of fossilised body parts. I definitely think there is a male/female fertility link with some of the stones. Merry Christmas.

    • @norfair86

      All the evidence you require my friend is right here on TH-cam channel, MUDFOSSIL UNIVERSITY.
      IT will all sound insane and madness and you will prob think the guy(roger spurr)is absolute nut job,
      As which I did at first, I used to watch him just to have a laugh ,but his evidence is irrefutable and it just kept mounting up,
      Worldwide mudflood 3500yrs ago, Venus hit mars ,killing every thing on it,as earth passed through the tail of Venus on two occasions, as Venus joined our solar system(as a fiery comet with two tails)..and guess what?
