It's better than the story that the original games told. Makarov just kind of showed up out of nowhere in the original. But now they've added some build-up to Makarov where hopefully in MWIII, he'll be more fleshed out and I hope an actual real tangible threat to not just the main cast of characters but to the entire world.

I love how when hadir is dying u hear a faint note of Farahs theme and then it gets louder I love it honestly a good send off don’t get me wrong I think more could of been done but I think this is better then him just being thrown in with shepherd, makarov like mw2019 had way to many villains so atleast like this he’s not going to be overshadowed by the others

Hassan should've been the raid boss as he's a very forgettable boss. Hadir was byfar the better villain who could've been a hero had his mindset not been flawed on killing Russians. It's sad a lot of people might miss out on what happened between Hadir, Farah, and the Task Force.
They never explained how Alex got out of Barkov’s factory at the end of the first game (yeah he shows up in the Warzone season cutscenes I know talking to Ghost) to when we see him in this raid.
I can’t believe I’m actually seeing people complain about raids. I thought they were an excellent addition and great way to continue the campaign’s story leading into MWIII. They did what MW19’s Spec Ops mode failed to do. Would it have been cool to get a few more episodes? Of course. But what we did get was great, earning you some nice completion rewards along the way.
nobody played this mode, they should put their efforts for the campaign story and not for a random side mode, look at the MWII and MWIII campaign story its a huge mess compared to mw2019
only complaint I have for the raids is that they put major story points in the episodes. They are really fun with the right people but once you’ve done one of them you’ve essentially done them all. What was the point of even having hadir there for not even one episode just to kill him off at the end of the raid. He could’ve atleast gotten captured and then his character expanded on and then makarov shows up and kills him. imo that would’ve been infinitely cooler than him dying from fall damage lmao. Then he just says what we already knew which was supposed to be some surprise even though makarov was already revealed at the end of mwII’s campaign. I get his motives and I agree with hadir, to an extent. He’s trying to protect his people but farah isn’t so good either. She wants peace but talks as if she wants all out war

My friend and I spent countless hours screaming at our TVs from the sheer stupidity of some of the puzzles. We still had fun tho and completed all four (fuck veteran difficulty tho)
Hadir just wanted to protect what wad left of his family and people. He had the stones to change when the Russians invaded to take their home. He just happened to be on the wrong side of things. I can only imagine the pain Alex had also felt. With the little time they had spent together, they became brothers in arms. I really wished Hadir came out of this one alive man.
It's amazing how much more entertaining and consistent these raid missions are compared to the actual MWII campaign. There's genuine face to face life or death drama as apposed to Shepard betraying you over an ipad.
Has anyone else realized that where you first see hadir it's the same place as a cold war map you play in so the nuke is probably what your fighting for on that map

There is more than one atomgrad the characters are just inside an abandoned one in urzikstan. But yeah I think it’s proven that Koschei complex is an atomgrad bunker, they’re structured the same, have the same type of rooms
If you go to MW2 and scroll down on the game you should see a bunch of these listed from ep 1-4 they’re not hard to find. Just know they are a bitch to do at times
I love these raid missions in theory, but I hate how they executed them. All my friends were F2P and didn't wanna pay $70 for just the raid missions. My brother had a copy tho, but we couldn't matchmake to find a random. So I never got to play these myself and had to resort to looking up these cutscenes. Idk why they made this so exclusive despite it containing huge story elements, but hopefully they change it next time

Which is why I think that Al Assad was originally supposed to be hadir but it got scrapped. Hadir just comes out of nowhere and seemingly sparks tensions between AQ and Russia. In mw2019 they both had the same goals and were spoken of as if they were partners which I’m sure they were at some point. then hadir just spawns out of thin air. in the end scene in mw2019 laswell says something about hadir being in jail and that he has zakhaev to help him. And now suddenly he’s in control of Al quatala just because they want the same goals. It’s a partnership that makes no sense as hadir was literally at war with them a few years back in the story. How did he convince aq to work with him? And why is there no Russian response? ouchie my fingrrs
