True that mate. Often seems like we're surrounded by idiots in day to day life, but when you follow someone on here, it seems to pull like minded folks into the same space. Worth something that is 🙂
I know you’re running a business/channel but the mental health of you and the people close to you is more important. I lost a mate earlier this year and I keep thinking the worst when I don’t hear from someone. Stay strong, you got this. #itsokaytotalk
My wife of 51 years died in September, I have friends at the other end of the country who ring me to keep an eye on me. I even had one who rang my local pub landlady because they couldn’t get hold of me and asked her ifI had been seen around, so your support is appreciated believe me. Family and friends are very important to all of us. Help where you can and accept help if you need, sometimes it’s only a quick natter and coffee but every contact is valuable. Love your work by the way !
Hi Nick. My heart goes out to you, such a wonderful thoughtful & considerate person. You deserve every help, and give help to each and everyone. It is very hard when you are trying to help people who have the problem you mention,it is getting better and more people are understanding. You have a fantastic following and we all know how nice & helpful you are. Take a positive from us all, we are all here to help.
Kudos to you Nick for helping out a friend in a time of need. We all have wobble moments. Mental health is very important, be it yours or your familly or of a good friend. Your true fans or subscribers will understand. Take it one day at the time. Remember something as simple as a chat can really help.
Mr Bundy you are a walking talking super human. Never apologise for being yourself and sharing your struggles. Sorry to hear about your friend and top work looking out for them. Love the new bag btw! Keep it up 👍
Wow your such a genuine, caring and funny guy. Dont ever ever apologise for helping someone, theres not enough of it going about these days. Thank goodness fellas are talking about their struggles now as opposed to brushing it under the carpet and trying to keep a stiff upper lip. Brilliant video well done.
Family and friends come first. I was always told, doing the right think at the right time when no one is watch is the hardest to do. keeps smiling as my miss tells me and you sort it out in the end ..
I volunteer for a search and rescue team, we sometimes find and see things most people wouldn't want to, and we have a huge amount of support behind us when this happens. Even then, with all that support, for some people it can be too much. So, to find a friend like that... it will undoubtedly have had an effect on you and you probably won't have had the support you needed. Take your time, talk to people if you need too and it's OK to not be OK.
Don’t worry Nick health comes first and should always come first. With the wall box I would have got a backplate for it and mounted all the parts and you could have used din rail connections and having single cores in it isn’t a problem the box is locked sticker on isolation elsewhere and 240v job done. Keep up the good work
I had a similar problem with wagos a couple of weeks ago, when changing lights in my church hall. I then wrapped the wago in insulation tape so that the levers can't spring open. 😅
nick aim not a spark iam a motor mechanic watch all your vids nice to see you back keep the vids coming nice you helped someone in need your well respected on youtube any way dave slatery allways gives you tube time on his vid hes a nut case.but your both good to watch
You are only human. You can help others, but try not to take on the emotions. Look after yourself. I was hoping that when you said you had taken time off, it was for you and your family.
You are a good friend Nick. Unfortunately most Friendships ive experienced over the years have been transactional. In that you have to have something they want in order to keep you around.
I with you nick, family and friends come before work, you can always catch up with work, but never get the time back for family and friends, once there gone there gone. Be strong bud, it’s never easy. Take care. Have a happy Christmas 🎉
Stuff happens in peoples lives, and youve helped that person with their upset, and youve slipped a bit down, it happens, youve chatted about it and as per usual us lot have responded with a listening ear, hopefully all the support youve got off strangers will help you and others, Big manly hug to you.
Hi Nick don't worry about TH-cam, take care of yourself and your mate and come back when all is good. I am trying to keep an eye on a lifelong friend of mine who has spit up with his wife and has turned to drink so I know how if feels too. I like your honest in talking about it. Stay safe and take care ,God Bless .
Life’s hard pal…& surprisingly it’s gets harder the older you get…losing family & friends never stop, you gotta keep going, even though sometimes you think you can’t. Please get yourself together, I can never understand people who suffer this illness cause I never have & believe you me I’ve been through quite a bit too. Get a grip, get on, keep doing what makes you happy, look after yourself, family, & friends… Take Care ,
Hi Nick, counselling help me out a lot when I was struggling mentally without it I would not be here today , My kids are so glad I reached out and got the help I needed 😃😃👍👍
Think I drove past you parked up by a school Tuesday afternoon when I went to see my old landlord in Stafford for the first time in 12 years. Keep up the good work
Nick. I’m so sorry to hear about the death of your friend several years ago, and also the current struggles with your other friend. I truly hope that the situation gets resolved and that your friend goes on to make a full recovery. I hope you look after yourself too. Times like these highlight the toll it can take on the person; physically, mentally and spiritually. Reality is, that God provides us with the strength, courage resilience to get through these trials. Placing all trust in Him and not relying on ourselves is how we make it through. Afterall, He created us and He knows what’s best for us. We just need to humble ourselves and fall on His Grace. He knows what we need, we just have to take our needs to Him in prayer and He will answer. Please do this in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. If I can be of any help, even just someone to listen, please reach out. You’ll be in my prayers, friend. Marcus.
As an old bloke who has children your age I would be extremely proud and at the same time worried about you so please don't put to much on your shoulders. Well done 👍
I know it is easy for me to say this but try not to be so tough on yourself. Your mental health is the most important thing. You have experienced one of the most difficult things, the loss of a friend. I can relate to this, this isn't something that you can forget but it is something that I believe changes your mindset on looking out for others, which is a good thing. Continue to be you, you didn't mess up, everybody makes mistakes. Take care of yourself, your family and friends and again, try not to be too tough on yourself. You are doing great and your videos are fantastic.
Keep your chin up big fella , keep doing what your doing Not sure if you’ve fixed the mistake , quinetic do a battery powered presence detector that will link to a wired receiver which in turn will power your drivers , sorted no wires no mess no one knows 👍
Nick, there's a saying in life, "Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today"... I don't say this about work stuff, and I don't know you or your circumstances beyond what you say here..... However, I do say it in that I would recommend you seek some support, possibly starting with the GP. You need to look after yourself as well. Don't put it off, think what you would say to yourself !! TC 👊
I've used those pir s in the past and I found that they don't have much range when mounted side on. I put them on a wall in a corridor and the lights didn't come on until you were right near the sensor
Nick, dont apologise for struggling, everyone needs a little help sometimes, see a doctor when your ready and try some medication for a short while. They really helped me. Stay strong buddy
I don't mean to sound jealous or condescending, but you have been absolutely killing it on TH-cam and in business lately, so chances are you may have neglected the other areas of you live. We know you are driven and ambitious chap, but we won't miss you as much as your close ones if you disappear for few weeks because you need to take care of things. We'll still be here when you get back. And the TH-cam algorithm, well, it will have to wait as well.
Just seen the end of video, I feel your pain, there is nothing you can do for them once there gone, apart from help to keep people left behind together. Your community is here for you
Hi mate. I’ve looked in on a few of your videos in the past. I’m a sparks too, and I always work alone, so it’s interesting for me to see how other people are doing things. However, this isn’t really a video about electrics, it’s you communicating with the people who watch and follow you. I’m sure there are lots of benefits to doing what you do, but I urge a certain amount of caution, not through experience, but through anxiety about the direction we are heading in - social media pressures, becoming recognisable etc. In truth, I can’t think of many facets of modern life that feel like improvements to me. Sounds like you’ve been through some tough times and it sounds like you’re a good friend. Take care of yourself Rob.
You messed up but owned up and put it right. Not many do in today's world. They charge you again twice and paper over the cracks. Stay safe and keep the content going 🫶
I literally just finished watching another TH-cam channel a guy who had gone quiet with videos and he basically had a tough few months with equipment failing that he uses and it was getting him down quite a lot and I said to him how, a lot of big trade TH-cam channels all seem to have problems now and then and they all bounce back. The fact you can talk about it on here shows you are turning things around for the better. Not everything goes Smoothly the first time, but you should feel confident that you can deal with these issues which you’ve shown in this video. This may sound like I’m downplaying how bad things may be for you, but the colder weather, less daylight really depresses me at times at it feels like everything is going wrong, maybe there is an unlucky time of year, but seeing you talk about it and then just crack in with your work I would say could inspire others like myself who have the winter blues to realise it’s just another bad patch, and I’m not alone.
Nick, you have no need to apologise for firstly helping and being here there for a mate/friend and secondly for struggling yourself. You are a true inspiration to be on an open platform and discuss it and being honest about how it affects you. Struggling myself a lot, I gain so much from seeing that by you speaking openly about mental health issues, has helped me and i'm sure others to let down barriers and in my case seek some help but just now knowing that speaking to someone really helps. Keep up being who you are and look after yourself, your family and your friends and hopefully by doing so they all look out for you.
Don't apologise for speaking the truth. You did the right thing. Do you have a support system in place? And can you keep business going when you have a few weeks off for your own wellbeing?
nick, i have seen some bad stuff in my time so I know what it's like. you need some support. i am going to get tested for ptsd at some point - but seeing you go through a relive moment right on camera is a hard watch. with respect, see a dr when you're ready and mention it to them.
You got this 💪 Great video, hope you're feeling happier ❤️ +1 for nailed backboxes being a ballache to remove 😅😅 the Spit is wicked fast/fun to use but definitely a pain if you change your mind afterwards 😜
Nick you HAVE NOT bin up your own a**e you have bin helping your friend. You care that is a rare thing these days. Please look after your self. We know you do others. We cache you in the next one 😉
All power to you Nick buddy… you’re a genuinely top bloke work/family wise from all I get watching you..and pretty much much that’s all that matters so just wanted to say from the outside keep being you mate 👊🏽
You are a top bloke, Nick. Don't go beating yourself up. We all take mental health for granted. Once it goes it can be hard to get it back. Maybe scale things back a bit until the new year? put your feet up and do a full-on family Chrimbo and forget work for a bit.
Keep on trucking mate, you’re doing great, we all have are own issues, that outsiders don’t know, that’s why we should treat one another with respect. We all fcuk now and again, but it’s how we deal with it that matters. Keep cool on the surface, paddle like the devil underneath!!!!!!

Nick you have a big community here who are here to talk. Don't hide away mate.
True that mate. Often seems like we're surrounded by idiots in day to day life, but when you follow someone on here, it seems to pull like minded folks into the same space. Worth something that is 🙂
When you're putting weird stuff in walls always use 4 core. Leaves options for the future. Only a little higher cost.
I know you’re running a business/channel but the mental health of you and the people close to you is more important. I lost a mate earlier this year and I keep thinking the worst when I don’t hear from someone. Stay strong, you got this. #itsokaytotalk

if you ever do that again, Quinetic do a wireless PIR and they also do 12V receivers.
Mr Bundy you are a walking talking super human. Never apologise for being yourself and sharing your struggles. Sorry to hear about your friend and top work looking out for them. Love the new bag btw! Keep it up 👍

Hi.Tuff. is real tidy...+ black cleats.... barely noticeable...in garages etc
Mr B hats off to you for your honesty!! Hope both issues are resolved! Family come 1st❤
Definitely no need for an apology nick , good on you for taking the time with your friend mate 💪
Nick, don't ever apologise for watching out for somebody.
Take care of yourself Nick! ❤
Glad to have you back mate. Love the refreshing, open and honest video.
Family and friends come first. I was always told, doing the right think at the right time when no one is watch is the hardest to do.
keeps smiling as my miss tells me and you sort it out in the end ..
Honestly this makes me feel better for how many fuck ups I had last week. I feel dumb but my life is mental atm. I hope you’re doing alright ❤

The bent in d line clips are excellent for horizontal runs a the corners of rooms as you can hook the cable in
Fair play for watching out for other people. Just remember to look after yourself too. 👍
Nick, just one for future, check out the little Knightsbridge mini PIRS, 32mm cut out. Cute little thing. 👍🏻
No apologies necessary you are human ❤
Hey Nick try wrapping the sensors mate , alot quicker than spraying and you could do it with them in situ 👍
Don’t worry Nick health comes first and should always come first. it was to start with mate, then loads of stuff happened
@NBundyElectrical fair enough. I know the feeling. Hopefully things settle down and you get a chance to try family time again.
You are a good friend Nick. Unfortunately most Friendships ive experienced over the years have been transactional. In that you have to have something they want in order to keep you around.
I’ve never understood that, surely a friend is just someone you can go meet at the pub or go a walk with from time to time?
I with you nick, family and friends come before work, you can always catch up with work, but never get the time back for family and friends, once there gone there gone. Be strong bud, it’s never easy. Take care. Have a happy Christmas 🎉
Dont ever be sorry for taking time off mate and looking after yourself. 💙

Best ever quote regarding situations like this;
"When you find yourself going through hell, - keep going!" - Winston Churchill
Chin up mate, remember it won’t always be dark at 7 o clock.

Lol yeah I was getting the kids from school mate
Remember that being able to be kind to others depends on being kind to yourself. Take it slow, don't worry about us, we'll be here when you're ready.
Nick. I’m so sorry to

Your a good lad Nick. Fair play to you for being open and honest both in your personal life and your work fuck ups😂
Good video Nick haven’t been watching for ages but I love your content and keep your chin up
Another option, would potentially be to add something like a Shelly i4.
As an old bloke who has children your age I would be extremely proud and at the same time worried about you so please don't put to much on your shoulders. Well done 👍
Love the honesty keep up the good work 💪

Well done for sharing… don’t punish yourself.
You should get Adam to check your work! This would help avoid these situations.
😂 he did it with me
Hope all's good mate. Good vid
I’m quite certain there’s a bad batch of those PIRs in circulation. I’ve taken back 3 out of the 5 I’ve bought recently
Keep your chin up big fella , keep doing what your doing
Not sure if you’ve fixed the mistake , quinetic do a battery powered presence detector that will link to a wired receiver which in turn will power your drivers , sorted no wires no mess no one knows 👍
Quinetic do a IP rated PIR which could have worked Nick. Not sure if CEF do a similar.
Nick, there's a saying in life, "Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today"... I don't say this about work stuff, and I don't know you or your circumstances beyond what you say here..... Don't be too hard on yourself Nick, amd keep up the great work 👍
Wondered where you gone, hope all turns out well.
I don't know you from Adam, but I feel for you Nick. Nice job on lighting too 👍
Adam’s the other one
@@SamButlerUKBoom boom 😄
You could always just put them on a timer in box and have them on just at night.
I've used those pir s in the past and I found that they don't have much range when mounted side on. I put them on a wall in a corridor and the lights didn't come on until you were right near the sensor
Hehe, I also wore my Superdry Flight jacket to work...its now fk'd (just like yours) 🤣
Nick, dont apologise for struggling, everyone needs a little help sometimes, see a doctor when your ready and try some medication for a short while. They really helped me. Stay strong buddy

Don’t beat yourself up dude,we all have a wobble every now and then 👍🏻, probably a bit late now, but how about the Quinetic pir, they only need LNE
Just seen the end of video, I feel your pain, there is nothing you can do for them once there gone, apart from help to keep people left behind together.
Your community is here for you
"I'll be living in malibu. I don't even know where malibu is " 😂😂😂 brilliant
Health comes first, look after yourself.
You described the box with all the connectors in as IP rated. Have you got a link to it?
I wish I had a mate like you!
Hope you're alright Nick? Don't worry about us, we'll still be here, just make sure you're ok
Can you not use the two core twin and get one of those pirs that dont have a Nuetral connection and have a bettery instead?
Be strong Nick
Quinetic switch not work?

Hi Nick, what about Quinetic PIRs?
No need to apologise.
Great Content Nick ,⚡️👊

Don't apologise for speaking the truth. You did the right thing.
Do you have a support system in place? And can you keep business going when you have a few weeks off for your own wellbeing?
Stay strong Nick, we all need to talk, and we are all here for you, Take care
Just because it's new, there's no guarantee that it will work
try the dewalt concrete nailer. :v
Look after yourself 🙂🇮🇪☘️
nick, i have seen some bad stuff in my time so I know what it's like. you need some support. i am going to get tested for ptsd at some point - but seeing you go through a relive moment right on camera is a hard watch. with respect, see a dr when you're ready and mention it to them.
What happened to Adam? Does he not work for you anymore?
All building up and no Adam to carry you
You got this 💪 Great video, hope you're feeling happier ❤️
+1 for nailed backboxes being a ballache to remove 😅😅 the Spit is wicked fast/fun to use but definitely a pain if you change your mind afterwards 😜
Nick you HAVE NOT bin up your own a**e you have bin helping your friend. You care that is a rare thing these days. Please look after your self. We know you do others. We cache you in the next one 😉

Never ever apologise for looking after you or those close to you. We will all be here when you’re ready. Sending my best wishes to you and yours 🫂
You are a top bloke Nick, even my partner said that and she calls you Ted 😳
What would BATMAN do?
KERPLOW................ZAAM...........................;)
We all fuck up buddy, what makes us great is how we get past it. Grit your teeth and get on with it man….
You are a top bloke, Nick. Don't go beating yourself up. We all take mental health for granted. Once it goes it can be hard to get it back. Maybe scale things back a bit until the new year? put your feet up and do a full-on family Chrimbo and forget work for a bit.
Nick, you're a good man caring about your friends. We can all lose perspective once in a while. Hang in there, mate.
Keep on trucking mate, you’re doing great, we all have are own issues, that outsiders don’t know, that’s why we should treat one another with respect.
We all fcuk now and again, but it’s how we deal with it that matters.
Keep cool on the surface, paddle like the devil underneath!!!!!!
good man
Those niggly fault find/fix tasks never happen on warm sunny days, always when brain and fingers are cold, wet and miserable.
Sometimes, we give ourselves more stress than we need to, by trying to do too much. It’s hard to be okay with doing less, but we need to be kinder to ourselves when things start piling up. Have a better week Nick 👍
You are more important than pumping out videos here. You're entitled to, and are due a break every now and again.
