Thankyou for the tutorial. I have a tu8000 that is doing this. I think it also is a dead duck. You've helped me confirm my suspicions. Sadly it's barely 4 years old. When it first started acting up, it would (while watching) go off and on, the picture would break up. I powered it down by pulling the power plug. It wouldn't react to the remote. after a while I plugged it back in and it seemed to be fine. That was several weeks ago. Now the simptoms are permanent.
Took me forever to get tape right on panel but got picture to appear and can power down and up tv without issue. Thanks for the video! Hopefully the problem doesnt crop up again.
Thank you very much 😁 The television is only on one year but I lost the guarantee, the following your steps I managed to fix the television, now it's like new 🎉🎉🎉thanks again 😊 Actually I used paper tape 😊 I forgot to say that I manage it with the first try , and the picture on the screen is perfect without any lines or dead pixels ,,,,,
Samsung should replace these tvs this is clearly a manufacturer fault. Some people tv down have no more then 2000 hours. Tv would normally brake do human error. We all should Sign a petition to get a lawsuit
Samsung s*cks! My samsung s21fe phone got greenlines after 1.5years of usage. They are purposely doing this sh*t displays so we will keep buying repeatedly. I will never buy another samsung phone or tv.
Great video thank you so much this worked for me!! This is the second samsung TV I've owned in the last 7 years that has issues (the one I fixed is less than 2 years old) don't know how long this fix will last but I am certain about one thing, I'll never buy another pile of trash samsung TV as long as I'm living.
Thank you very much for sharing this video the save me a tremendous amount of time diagnosing a broken TV that I was going to try and fix for a friend so it wouldn't have made any money on it anyway but I could help someone out but change their video I didn't lose that time
Hi I’m from Iraq and I have the same problem with my samsung ue50au8000u TV 😢😢 I will try this way and I will write to you again if it’s work. Thanks for this video
You were so close to fixing it on this video, I had exact the same problem with my tv and just fixed it, the ribbon you were sticking the tape on just needs cleaning with a alcohol wipe or something similar.
My 23 months old 58Q60T also made the same problem today. It is ashame for Samsung to have this problem in common and not to solve. A brand like Samsung should not make TVs causing problems in less than 2 years. I have a Sony plasma TV 16 years old and bever had any problem.
I wrote a post on Samsung NZ Instagram page about this issue and the post was deleted. There is no record of me even making the post. This should not be happening to so many people. They know about this issue and are trying to avoid it and avoid a recall.
You certainly have a vast array of knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting my friend. Your troubleshoot was very informative. It is sad that the TV is not repairable. Samsung TV's are supposed to be of high quality and should not have failed after 2 years. Do you think it may have been dropped or abused? Do you think it is premature component failure? I own a 3 year old, 55 inch Samsung 4K TV and this failure worries me. I am hoping I don't ever have such a failure with my TV. Thank you for sharing this video.
my friend this is a screen issue and i seen it in all brands. the pixels inside the screen goes bad causing this issues , i heard the Samsung screen issue is less the 5% so it is a very small chance your tv may have the same problem
@@SOSfixElectronics That is really good to know, brother. I am relieved to know that. Keep up the great work. With your skills and talents, you must be the busiest man in Florida in the electronics repair business.
Hello, electronics repair tech here as well. All electronics, no matter good or bad brands, can fail prematurely even with proper use. Some cheapo brands tend to fail more often than others, but samsungs and LG and SONY fail as well .My advise is to purchase extended warranty if possible on expensive devices.
Mine is doing the same LOL I’m buying a Sony… I’m a mechanic I fix cars and motorcycles all day everyday… I shouldn’t have to come home and play operation on my TV lol
Moving the tape along I managed to get a good picture except for this 4 inch wide strip with flashing black lines, but I'm happy at least i've got something. Mine is au50Tu8000w
Hi I followed your video with my back panel off. When plugged in the backlight starts flashing. When I unplug the cable from the power board to the main board the backlight still flashes but then there is a clicking sound (like your cars turn signal) coming from the power board. Your insight would be appreciated!
Bought same model 2 years ago and have same issue, tried tape fix and now it stays on with sound but no picture. Backlight is working. Please everyone write to samsung and complain.
I have the same exact tv with almost the same exact problem. My issues began 1 month after the 1 year warranty expired. Shortly after this issue it began bootlooping several times before turning on and that issue is getting progressively worse. The tv was cheap enough and unfortunately it appears you get what you pay for.
I love your videos, learned a lot - thanks for that. I have a question: have you ever try the cutting method - ckv 1- 8, vhg, vss? Thanks for the answer in advance.
Hi, thank you for sharing the video. I have a same problem with our Samsung LED TV. How do you decide which strip has a problem and what is the exact location of the tape?
I bought this model when it came out along with my friend, he got the extended warranty I didn't ... both TV's failed with the same issue you have here . . Samsung wouldn't cover my TV after the warranty ran out even tho they knew these units were defective...it was the last Samsung TV I will ever buy they're complete crap tbh .
Hi, can you please explain the values of the pins? I managed to the tv from restarting, the sound is working but still the image doesn’t come? Maybe I block some pins that are responsible for the image in general?
Follow the instructions to troubleshoot same issue. I get audio from a streaming signal but no image whenever either ribbon cable is disconnected from each side of the screen. Backlight is ON all the time, but no image. Does this means a bad screen?
Have you ever fixed a Samsung Frame tv that switches from black to blue? It clicks on to a blue screen and then back to black screen, as if it is turning on and off but no picture. We tried a new one connect box but didn’t work. Any thoughts??
could be anything except the screen, disconnect power board from the mainboard to see if the backlight turns on and stays on. if yes it should be the mainboard issue
@@SOSfixElectronics Yeah the backlight turns on and stays on when the main board is disconnected so I've ordered a new main board. Thanks for your help. 👍
@@SOSfixElectronics what is the black line causing? The pixels itself should be fine... because the lines are switching. What means the lines could work. Is the tcon processor causing the issue?
@@JSpark-bk3hemine is that too I haven’t gotten to try this video yet but the lines work cause they move up and down the screen to random heights and then reboots and does it all over every now and then it will give me the Samsung logo with no issue then cut off again
