Its not really that he was the only "brave" enough, that was his job. He was 1st Lieutenant, he's in command after Prime f course he'd fight Megatron before anyone else.

Ironhide is an absolute unit. It took Sentinel three point blank shots to the chest from the back and he was still living. The cosmic rust was what killed him that’s just how much of an absolute chad Ironhide was.

Tierlist is overall good, but I'd put some minor changes: 1. I'd put The Fallen a tier above, since he still absolutely could body any of the characters in the same tier, and The Fallen actually wasn't absolutely bodied by Jetfire Optimus, he fought back. 2. I'd put TF5 Megatron over Optimus in his Prime (no Jetfire), simply due to being able to fight back 4 Autobots at once (including Bumblebee and Optimus himself) without being overwhelmed.
For the comments of Revenge Of The Fallen for both cases, after TF 2007 Optimus started training himself in multiple combat forms therefore putting himself above '07 Megatron. Now for our favourite leader of the Deceptions, Megatron. He became both stronger and weaker due to the new body. You can argue his fusion cannon is stronger since he doesn't need to merge both of his arms together this time unlike in '07 but as you mentioned unlike Optimus, Megatron had no time whatsoever to get used to the new body, basically learning as he fought. This also proves how good of a warrior he is, afterall Megatron was in charge of the justice division (if I remember correctly) shown in the prequel IDW comics and I believe they also pulled in the pits of Kaon as well.
Optimus is literally millions/billions of years old and have been the leader of the autobots for eons you really think 2 years of fighting experience is going to make up for megatrons eons of fighting as a gladiator and leader of the decepticons? I will give you the benefit of the doubt with megatron being revived so he probably wasn’t at full strength.

The simpler explanation and the one that makes the most sense is just that Megatron had a whole new body with weird uneven proportions, during the forest fight you can see him clunky and slow and the only contradicting material is an obscure book that just tried to overhype the new Megatron design. They should've just gone with that, in the end Megatron wasn't even the big baddy in that movie. Optimus catching up for 2 years what he couldn't for thousands of years is just a pill hard to swallow. In the end it isn't the fans faults tho, it's Bay and Hasbro who never thought any single detail that isn't an explosion.

Every time sentinel had the upper hand it was because Optimus was holding back, focused more on talking than actually fighting, or simply distracted by something else going on. If it were any other character, Optimus would have just stomped them. Aside from the first film, Every time Optimus was on a losing side of a fight is because he was distracted. ROTF: he was looking for Sam when Megatron killed him. DOTM: 1. Trying to protect Lenox and the other soldiers from Shockwave and his worm (I forgot the name). The list goes on. 4 and 5 are just inconsistent because Optimus will lose a fight out of nowhere only seemingly overcome the next opponent the next time they encounter.
Great tier list! I agree with most of them. I just wish that Shockwave got more screen time and that Bayverse Transformers ended like the book in Dark of The Moon. The only things I disagree with is normal Optimus being stronger than The Last Knight Megatron or T1 Megatron and T3 Megatron being at the top of the Commander tier. I mean, T1 or even T2 Megatron probably could’ve beaten the Fallen if Jetfire was infused with him, since Megs and Prime are around the same level. And TLK Megatron was surprised attacked and was basically kept from being able to kill anybody because of plot armor and “luck”. He could’ve easily killed Hound and Bumblebee, but both times he was stopped, and then he gets kicked through a wall by Optimus. I mean, seems a little unfair to our buddy Megs, right? And T3 Megatron being put at the top of the Commander tier is a little questionable to me because he only had a shotgun and couldn’t do anything to Prime. I feel like Shockwave and the dinobots should’ve been put at the top of the Commander tier. Regardless, it was a great tier list and I enjoyed the video.
Honestly I might put tf1 Megatron above tlk megatron and optimus, the dude was MASSIVE in the first movie. With his head being the size of like two and a half of optimus' heads put together. Tlk Megatron looked relative to optimus' size in tlk and if optimus in tlk is the same height as optimus in the other films then tf1 megatron is still massive compared to prime and could overpower him based on his leverage alone
I don’t think size is everything. TF2 Megatron was even bigger than TF1 Megatron and Optimus beat his a**. I do think it’s possible TF1 Megatron is above TF5 Megatron, especially if Optimus didn’t become stronger over the movies.

in my opinion sideswipe and ironhide should have been ranked higher. because of the fact that both of them are really skilled. and sideswipe has great speed/agility and quick-killing blades.
Cool tier list and awesome job!!!!!! I, however, don't agree with Bumblebee though. Yeah, he had a lot of kills but he is physically weaker than Ironhide and Hound. In the IDW Comics, while they never fought each other Ironhide was doing his thing while Optimus went to pursue Megatron. I think people often forget that pretty much in any continuity Optimus Prime is 9 Million-Years Old if you are not counting him being one of the original Primes and then coming out as Orion Paxe but I digress, he has been in battle for that long. In the Michael Bay films he has been in battle for thousands of years and was trained by Sentinel Prime and knows how to fight without the training from Sentinel. Optimus was holding back in the first film plus Megatron was pumped up from the Sector 7 generators. And yes, while Megatron in TF2 had knew parts, it was still his original body in a sense. He was missing his left arm and right leg. He is also 1 million years older than Optimus, not as skilled though. He also had the same sword, just modified from the foundation/defiance comics. Megatron in the Bay films isn't that dumb. Plus Prima (I have a hard time believing that wasn't Optimus since he looks just like him from Optimus Prime's meteorite toy and how Optimus looked on Cybertron) defeated the Fallen by wearing him down by teleporting and he was a Prime. I wish we had more time with these films before Bumblebee was made but I'm not complaining. I love them just the same. I love seeing my buddy Optimus Prime as always too.
If you watch revenge of the fallen the scene where demolished is taken down he actually is taken down by ironhide not Optimus. Right before he crashes you can see ironhide jump on his wheel and shoot out the support on it causing demolisher to crash. Just something I don’t think people noticed.
Welp, I finally had time to see your list and I mostly agree, though I would put the Wreckers at the top of the High tier thanks to their excessive weaponry, I would also put the Twins at least higher than the Decepticon protoforms since these guys have better firepower (damaging devastator) and were pretty agile, jumping and swinging around. Jetfire is also a hard one to rank since he's a glass cannon but I think he should be at the bottom of Commander tier, above Demolisher. I also wouldn't put Devastator above the Dinobots and Dragonstorm since these are also very powerful and way faster than him. And finally, I think that 07 Megatron is a bit overrated, he was strong but Optimus could still fight him for a while and I feel that DOTM Optimus with all of his upgrades and gear would counter him. Megatron in the first movie was totally badass and strong, in TLK he was also strong but we didnt really see him fight anyone 1v1 all autobots combined were not enough to stop him untill Optimus attacked him by suprise and even then Optimus had hard time that just shows how much Megatron was actually strong. Megatron 2007 was above Sentinel, do you remember that Sentinel litterally said that they were never going to win the war and that he joined with Megatron. (If u cant beat them, join them) That means Sentinel wasn't able to stop Megatron. I did put 2007 Megatron above Sentinel. And Starscream was still strong in the 2nd and 3rd movie, he just didn’t fight anybody besides Optimus who is OP.
I agree with almost literally everything except for jolts placement since he can manually destroy and put people back together using his whips so if he was shot he can just take the other person's part and repair himself, but overall great video! I Subscribed
Very good list! Although I would've probably put Bumblebee a little lower since he mostly beat fodder and his fight with Nemesis Prime seems more of an outlier than anything else. If you've ever seen the show, would you consider a Doctor Who tier list? It might be a little hard to scale the characters due to a lack of proper fight scenes, but I think you could end up with something interesting, especially if you include the classic show too.

Also, in regards to ROTF Megatron, he is actually weaker than 2007 not only because he gained bodily proportions he wasn’t used to, Prime was also not holding back in that fight even though he didn’t use any melee weapons. Prime essentially told Sam that he wasn’t confident he could win that fight when he told him to put the cube into his chest if he didn’t come out on top. The only reason Prime used swords on Megatron after 2007 is because Prime figured out that swords actually worked against his long-time nemesis now. R.I.P. Scrapper, but I think the only thing your parts did for your leader was give him a new alt mode to sell toys and a more efficient weapon. (Also, can we all agree that Knight Megatron has a criminally underrated design, especially when he was originally supposed to transform into a dragon?)
If this tier was based off of just the character instead of just what they did in the movie. Characters like Shockwave and Soundwave would be a lot higher Plus: Shockwave should be above rotf and dotm Megatron. And Optimus only has the highest kills on screen.
Megatron 07 is a dominant indestructible Leader, no one couldn't stop him even optimus prime can't either do it. one thing can slay him is the Allspark. so I might put Megatron07 in the Primus tier list.
The reason Megatron lost to Optimus wasn't because he was moreso was because of his shotgun not being loaded, which gave Optimus the chance to blitz and rip off his head. Though I think Lockdown could be above Sentinel prime due to his bigger arsenal and agility. Sure Optimus was distracted, but he was also nerfed in the final fight against Sentinel when the decepticon ships shot at Optimus and Sentinel wasn't damaged when fighting the autobots. Not to mention the Optimus Lockdown fights a more experienced Optimus along with the matrix of leadership and even displaying stronger feats than before such as bullying grimlock
That was a part of it, but Megatron was stated to be weaker in the movie. Lockdown did fight a more experienced prime, but we can’t quantify how much better he got, and Sentinel best Optimus fair and square while Lockdown didn’t.
And then Sentinel was attacked by all of the autobots and humans at once, so that makes it even. Then in the final fight there was no interference and Sentinel won. He also won and could have killed Optimus in their fight in Washington DC which had no interference. @@sooper7374

ik im incredibly late. solid list. except for some minor things 1. Cade is probably in mid. alien gun is pretty OP for his stature 2. Bee being so high up feels weird. He could probably deal w/ Starscream but Starscream seems to have a habit of hits and runs and doesn't like to stick around for lengthy fights (failure to kill Ironhide and Ratchet despite getting the jump on them). If he is in Commander tier, all the way at the end. I'm sorry but I can't see him beating Grimlock, Driller, the dragon or even Shockwave for the matter. yes he went up against Optimus but he wasn't winning or getting his two-bit in. Optimus was running away from him and it was clear he wasn't as focused as he would've been when possessed. 3. Galvatron is at least Megatron's second strongest iteration. Honestly he should only be below Megatron in TF5 and I would even accept if ppl rate him above Megatron TF5. The thing abt Galvatron despite his ugly ass looks was that he was so absurdly durable absorbing Bee's missiles and straight up ate Optimus's energon blade. An extended fight would've probably had Optimus knight form lose to him also why is Brawl shown twice in Elite and High?
1. Cade's firepower may be that high, but as a human he could easily be killed. 2. Bee is weird because for most of the series I would put him in the Elite tier, it's only in TF5 where he reaches commander tier. His ability to fall apart and put himself back together is really OP and he did really well against Optimus. 3. Galvatron could be higher, we just needed to see more from him. 4. Brawl is not on the list twice. I'm pretty sure you are talking about Long Haul in the High tier.
little fun fact in the transformers movie guide for revenge of the fallen its actually stated rotf megatron is "Upgraded and deadlier than ever" so he should probably be much higher or tf1 megs should be much lower
Yeah I’ve seen that. I actually show it in my rise of the beasts video. However I think guides like that are somewhat questionable because we don’t really know if that statement was proved by Bay or any of the Producers. It was probably the opinion of whatever writer was hired to write it. I do think Megatron became deadlier due to his giant claw, and he was thicker and more durable, but TF1 Megatron seemed faster and a better fighter. There is also the fact in TF4 Galvatron was trying to remake his TF1 body and not his TF2 body, which would imply he prefers his TF1 body. Also consider than in TF2 Megatron and Starscream were forced to retreat by the Autobots after Optimus was killed, while in TF1 all the Autobots had to retreat when Megatron showed up. If we do just straight up say TF2 Megatron is stronger, I would drop TF1 Megatron below him rather than raise TF2 Megatron.
@@weeaboo-warrior the book was written by Simon furmon who has written numerous transformers tales including some comics which use the bayverse versions of the characters so he’s probably credible. Also megatron may only seem faster because he wasn’t getting ragdolled by Optimus in the 1st movie but that could just becaus Optimus gif stronger or became a better fighter. Also it’s kinda a bit headcanon to say which body he was tryna recreate and even then it doesn’t mean that body was inherently stronger than his ROTF body as that one was empowered by the all spark while this one wasn’t. Megatron retreating could be because he was severely weakened through his battle with Optimus which is actually directly stated in the ROTF junior novel that he fled due to his injuries with the same applying to starscream. Also again that giant claw isn’t gonna do much if he can’t hit anyone with it like if he’s so slow that he will never land a hit with it or it would be hard to hit someone with it then he should be easier to deal with that megatron making him less deadly if anything which is why I think his new body proportions don’t nerf him as much as people say if at all (or the physical amp he got from the all spark shard was greater than the nerf)

That guy probably knows his stuff, but I wouldn’t treat it as 100% fact, but I do think it’s worth considering. We know Megatron was trying to recreate his movie one body because we see it in one of the screens in the movie, and we can see his Galvatron body looks like his body from the first movie. Optimus may have become stronger and a better fighter between movies, but considering he is thousands of years old, it seems a bit of a stretch for him to get noticeably stronger in just two years. I’m fine with that interpretation though. Putting TF1 Megatron bellow TF2 is fine.

I haven’t seen AOE in a while so I’ll take your word on the screen bit but for the appearance part the only reason it resembles his TF1 body more is because it isn’t 80% legs besides that there’s nothing really that makes it look like his TF1 body (by this logic you can also say it resembles his TF3 body shape) and as for Optimus getting stronger apparently the cybertron war only lasted a few decades so Optimus may not have been training beforehand since he wasn’t a fighter which to me makes it seem much more likely Optimus could have gotten a considerable increase but if you agree with TF2 megs beating TF1 megs then that’s fine by me

Starscream in the first film put a reall big beating on itonhide and rachet, one close blast, taking bumblebees legs of. And then somehow loseing ot in the next two films.

Two, it didn’t seem like quintessa was not using her powers to move it and more so cybertron seemed to be manually moving through space. I think lockdown should be higher than tf1-tf3 Optimus, due to because he actually holding back most of the time, if he does try to kill optimus he could have done that when fighting rust Optimus or when he was shooting using his big face gun[tough,lockdown could have destroy Optimus legs{because optimus is now more upgraded, managed to tank optimus sword and the gunface from lockdown} or finishing off cade quickly] And for the fallen he should be in primus list, because the fallen last a longer fight than megatron tf2[even tho Megatron did a better battle/most to do the work while the fallen was chilling and weakend and manage to kill him from the back despite Optimus whooping his butt and only lost because of sam and could have won]nd manage to destroy one of optimus jetfire parts But the rest was alright

@@weeaboo-warrior Both got killed by Optimus rather easily, but Megatron was at full strenght vs. a badly wounded Optimus. Shockwave did equally terrible against a full power Optimus. Megatron was hiding all the time, while Shockwave stood at the frontline almost the entire battle. I also think that base DOTM Optimus was the strongest version of the character in all Transformers movies, so Sentinel being stronger is a better feat than Megatron in the 1st film.

Megatron wasn’t participating in the battle, but I don’t think that necessarily means he would lose. His gun has better feats than Shockwave’s and he was able to rip apart Sentinel with his bare hands. Shockwave might be stronger, but it’s hard to say based off his lack of feats. We never got to see him fight someone all out.

U see in dotm, if u see carefully sideswipe actually takes the battle most actively against sentinel because he killed his mentor. Ratchet and bee kinda backed down but sideswipe solely charged to him did some damage to sentinel
Grimlock deserves prime tier tbh, he ragdolled megatron, dreadbot, nitro zeus AND barricade in a single battle. Although ppl like to say that grim lost to optimus if you think about it grimlock likely wasnt fighting seriously or fighting to win but instead was testing prime to earn the dinobots aid Also i refuse to believe that bumblee, grindor or starscream are in the same tier as grimlock

@@weeaboo-warrior actually grimlock did ragdoll megs in the town battle, he slammed megs to the ground before killing dreadbot and later can be seen toppling nitro zeus. Also like i said, grimlock arguably battled not to win but so that prime could earn their aid. We see megatron being equal if not barely surpassing optimus as he overpowers the prime with a single arm even with bees help. Starscream aint gonna be bombing grimlock forever.

Grimlock holding back on Optimus is head canon. Optimus could be argued as holding back as well as he didn’t want to kill the Dinobots he just wanted them to join him. Grimlock is extremely strong don’t get me wrong, he is just slow and lacks range. In terms of pure physical strength he is definitely prime tier.
Loved transformers since i was a kid! Whats ur fave transformer? And if u were a transformer what would u turn into? I would be an osprey plane. Apparently they wanted to make a bot like that but its scene got cut.
Starscream was always my favorite. I really like Megatron in the Bay films and Lockdown as well. Of course Bay’s Optimus Prime as well. If I were a transformer I would either be a cool sports/muscle car or a plane so I could fly.
That means Cemetery Wind was there helping him. Lockdown ambushes his targets, as seen with Ratchet and later with Optimus when he was fighting Galvatron. We do not know how Lockdown got the better of Optimus in Mexico, and we can't just assume he won fair and square.
Cementary wind didn't help Lockdown at all. Lockdown was about to kill Optimus easily if it wasn't for the humans, because Lockdown said this: '3 direct hits, mortal wound, then YOUR men allowed him to escape '

I think jazz should have been in Elite if sideswipe is there jazz has more experience because in tf3 sideswipe was still in training by Ironhide and his blast where able to partially hurt Megatron they made him flinch not even hounds machine gun did that in tf5

I dont think bee is stronger than ironhide, ironhide didnt have much spotlight as bee, but we can see he is much more durable than bee and highest firepower of the autobot team (dont count op with wings). More over he is teacher of sideswipe, seem the only 1 autobot that faster than bee, so ironhide combat skills is good enough too

Not only hes shown as much more intimidating, but he was also stated to be the only one in megatron team able to defeat him (while refering to a almost prime megatron). A 1v1 against optimus wouldve proved that, but well never know

List was ok but I heavily disagree with everyone in the prime tier of rankings. Tf1 megaton and sentinel prime only scale to base tf1-3 Optimus, while people like galvatron, lockdown, and knight form megaton have better scaling to a stronger night form optimus, so they should easily be above those earlier movie villains. Lockdown lost to damaged rusty pre knight Prime near the beginning of the movie and was losing to knight prime until Optimus got distracted. Galvatron fought pre knight prime only for a short time and was losing. I do agree TF5 Megatron scales above the early villains, which is why I put him above. I don’t see how damaging Optimus a little puts Shockwace above DOTM Megatron. Optimus and Sentinel are equals and DOTM Megatron damaged Sentinel way worse than Shockwave damaged Optimus.

I'll always have respect for Jazz despite knowing how outmatched he was in that fight, he still challenged Megatron head on and gave the humans, Ironhide and Ratchet time to escape and to buy time for Optimus to arrive, he was the only one brave enough to face Megatron.
Makes sense as to why Optimus made him First lieutenant, even when brawl first appeared jazz was the first one to charge at him despite the size differential

Ironhide is an absolute unit. It took Sentinel three point blank shots to the chest from the back and he was still living. The cosmic rust was what killed him that’s just how much of an absolute chad Ironhide was.

The fact that Shockwave was done dirty in the Bayverse and STILL managed to be an absolute menace speaks volume to his true power.

Yeah these movies (especially the first three) have a lot of nostalgia for me.
Tierlist is overall good, but I'd put some minor changes:
1. I'd put The Fallen a tier above, since he still absolutely could body any of the characters in the same tier, and The Fallen actually wasn't absolutely bodied by Jetfire Optimus, he fought back.
2. I'd put TF5 Megatron over Optimus in his Prime (no Jetfire), simply due to being able to fight back 4 Autobots at once (including Bumblebee and Optimus himself) without being overwhelmed.
Yeah Optimus got the upper hand fast simply due to the pace of that fight.

For the comments of Revenge Of The Fallen for both cases, after TF 2007 Optimus started training himself in multiple combat forms therefore putting himself above '07 Megatron. Now for our favourite leader of the Deceptions, Megatron. He became both stronger and weaker due to the new body. You can argue his fusion cannon is stronger since he doesn't need to merge both of his arms together this time unlike in '07 but as you mentioned unlike Optimus, Megatron had no time whatsoever to get used to the new body, basically learning as he fought. This also proves how good of a warrior he is, afterall Megatron was in charge of the justice division (if I remember correctly) shown in the prequel IDW comics and I believe they also pulled in the pits of Kaon as well.
Optimus is literally millions/billions of years old and have been the leader of the autobots for eons you really think 2 years of fighting experience is going to make up for megatrons eons of fighting as a gladiator and leader of the decepticons? I will give you the benefit of the doubt with megatron being revived so he probably wasn’t at full strength.

The simpler explanation and the one that makes the most sense is just that Megatron had a whole new body with weird uneven proportions, during the forest fight you can see him clunky and slow and the only contradicting material is an obscure book that just tried to overhype the new Megatron design. They should've just gone with that, in the end Megatron wasn't even the big baddy in that movie.
Optimus catching up for 2 years what he couldn't for thousands of years is just a pill hard to swallow.
In the end it isn't the fans faults tho, it's Bay and Hasbro who never thought any single detail that isn't an explosion.

Every time sentinel had the upper hand it was because Optimus was holding back, focused more on talking than actually fighting, or simply distracted by something else going on. If it were any other character, Optimus would have just stomped them. Aside from the first film, Every time Optimus was on a losing side of a fight is because he was distracted. ROTF: he was looking for Sam when Megatron killed him. DOTM: 1. Trying to protect Lenox and the other soldiers from Shockwave and his worm (I forgot the name). The list goes on. 4 and 5 are just inconsistent because Optimus will lose a fight out of nowhere only seemingly overcome the next opponent the next time they encounter.
Great tier list! I agree with most of them. I just wish that Shockwave got more screen time and that Bayverse Transformers ended like the book in Dark of The Moon. The only things I disagree with is normal Optimus being stronger than The Last Knight Megatron or T1 Megatron and T3 Megatron being at the top of the Commander tier. I mean, T1 or even T2 Megatron probably could’ve beaten the Fallen if Jetfire was infused with him, since Megs and Prime are around the same level. And TLK Megatron was surprised attacked and was basically kept from being able to kill anybody because of plot armor and “luck”. He could’ve easily killed Hound and Bumblebee, but both times he was stopped, and then he gets kicked through a wall by Optimus. I mean, seems a little unfair to our buddy Megs, right? And T3 Megatron being put at the top of the Commander tier is a little questionable to me because he only had a shotgun and couldn’t do anything to Prime. I feel like Shockwave and the dinobots should’ve been put at the top of the Commander tier.
Regardless, it was a great tier list and I enjoyed the video.

Honestly I might put tf1 Megatron above tlk megatron and optimus, the dude was MASSIVE in the first movie. With his head being the size of like two and a half of optimus' heads put together. Tlk Megatron looked relative to optimus' size in tlk and if optimus in tlk is the same height as optimus in the other films then tf1 megatron is still massive compared to prime and could overpower him based on his leverage alone
I don’t think size is everything. TF2 Megatron was even bigger than TF1 Megatron and Optimus beat his a**. I do think it’s possible TF1 Megatron is above TF5 Megatron, especially if Optimus didn’t become stronger over the movies.

I, however, don't agree with Bumblebee though. Yeah, he had a lot of kills but he is physically weaker than Ironhide and Hound. In the IDW Comics, while they never fought each other Ironhide was doing his thing while Optimus went to pursue Megatron.
I think people often forget that pretty much in any continuity Optimus Prime is 9 Million-Years Old if you are not counting him being one of the original Primes and then coming out as Orion Paxe but I digress, he has been in battle for that long. In the Michael Bay films he has been in battle for thousands of years and was trained by Sentinel Prime and knows how to fight without the training from Sentinel. Optimus was holding back in the first film plus Megatron was pumped up from the Sector 7 generators. And yes, while Megatron in TF2 had knew parts, it was still his original body in a sense. He was missing his left arm and right leg. He is also 1 million years older than Optimus, not as skilled though. He also had the same sword, just modified from the foundation/defiance comics. Megatron in the Bay films isn't that dumb. Plus Prima (I have a hard time believing that wasn't Optimus since he looks just like him from Optimus Prime's meteorite toy and how Optimus looked on Cybertron) defeated the Fallen by wearing him down by teleporting and he was a Prime. I wish we had more time with these films before Bumblebee was made but I'm not complaining. I love them just the same. I love seeing my buddy Optimus Prime as always too.
If you watch revenge of the fallen the scene where demolished is taken down he actually is taken down by ironhide not Optimus. Right before he crashes you can see ironhide jump on his wheel and shoot out the support on it causing demolisher to crash. Just something I don’t think people noticed.
Welp, I finally had time to see your list and I mostly agree, though I would put the Wreckers at the top of the High tier thanks to their excessive weaponry, I would also put the Twins at least higher than the Decepticon protoforms since these guys have better firepower (damaging devastator) and were pretty agile, jumping and swinging around. Jetfire is also a hard one to rank since he's a glass cannon but I think he should be at the bottom of Commander tier, above Demolisher. I also wouldn't put Devastator above the Dinobots and Dragonstorm since these are also very powerful and way faster than him. And finally, I think that 07 Megatron is a bit overrated, he was strong but Optimus could still fight him for a while and I feel that DOTM Optimus with all of his upgrades and gear would counter him. Anyways cool vid
Megatron in the first movie was totally badass and strong, in TLK he was also strong but we didnt really see him fight anyone 1v1 all autobots combined were not enough to stop him untill Optimus attacked him by suprise and even then Optimus had hard time that just shows how much Megatron was actually strong.

I did put 2007 Megatron above Sentinel. And Starscream was still strong in the 2nd and 3rd movie, he just didn’t fight anybody besides Optimus who is OP.
I agree with almost literally everything except for jolts placement since he can manually destroy and put people back together using his whips so if he was shot he can just take the other person's part and repair himself, but overall great video! I Subscribed

Very good list! Although I would've probably put Bumblebee a little lower since he mostly beat fodder and his fight with Nemesis Prime seems more of an outlier than anything else.
If you've ever seen the show, would you consider a Doctor Who tier list? It might be a little hard to scale the characters due to a lack of proper fight scenes, but I think you could end up with something interesting, especially if you include the classic show too.

Also, in regards to ROTF Megatron, he is actually weaker than 2007 not only because he gained bodily proportions he wasn’t used to, Prime was also not holding back in that fight even though he didn’t use any melee weapons. Prime essentially told Sam that he wasn’t confident he could win that fight when he told him to put the cube into his chest if he didn’t come out on top. The only reason Prime used swords on Megatron after 2007 is because Prime figured out that swords actually worked against his long-time nemesis now.
R.I.P. Scrapper, but I think the only thing your parts did for your leader was give him a new alt mode to sell toys and a more efficient weapon.
(Also, can we all agree that Knight Megatron has a criminally underrated design, especially when he was originally supposed to transform into a dragon?)

The reason Megatron lost to Optimus wasn't because he was moreso was because of his shotgun not being loaded, which gave Optimus the chance to blitz and rip off his head. Though I think Lockdown could be above Sentinel prime due to his bigger arsenal and agility. Sure Optimus was distracted, but he was also nerfed in the final fight against Sentinel when the decepticon ships shot at Optimus and Sentinel wasn't damaged when fighting the autobots. Not to mention the Optimus Lockdown fights a more experienced Optimus along with the matrix of leadership and even displaying stronger feats than before such as bullying grimlock
That was a part of it, but Megatron was stated to be weaker in the movie. Lockdown did fight a more experienced prime, but we can’t quantify how much better he got, and Sentinel best Optimus fair and square while Lockdown didn’t.

1. Cade is probably in mid. alien gun is pretty OP for his stature
2. Bee being so high up feels weird. He could probably deal w/ Starscream but Starscream seems to have a habit of hits and runs and doesn't like to stick around for lengthy fights (failure to kill Ironhide and Ratchet despite getting the jump on them). If he is in Commander tier, all the way at the end. I'm sorry but I can't see him beating Grimlock, Driller, the dragon or even Shockwave for the matter. yes he went up against Optimus but he wasn't winning or getting his two-bit in. Optimus was running away from him and it was clear he wasn't as focused as he would've been when possessed.
3. Galvatron is at least Megatron's second strongest iteration. Honestly he should only be below Megatron in TF5 and I would even accept if ppl rate him above Megatron TF5. The thing abt Galvatron despite his ugly ass looks was that he was so absurdly durable absorbing Bee's missiles and straight up ate Optimus's energon blade. An extended fight would've probably had Optimus knight form lose to him
also why is Brawl shown twice in Elite and High?
1. Cade's firepower may be that high, but as a human he could easily be killed.
2. Bee is weird because for most of the series I would put him in the Elite tier, it's only in TF5 where he reaches commander tier. His ability to fall apart and put himself back together is really OP and he did really well against Optimus.
3. Galvatron could be higher, we just needed to see more from him.

little fun fact in the transformers movie guide for revenge of the fallen its actually stated rotf megatron is "Upgraded and deadlier than ever" so he should probably be much higher or tf1 megs should be much lower
Yeah I’ve seen that. I actually show it in my rise of the beasts video. However I think guides like that are somewhat questionable because we don’t really know if that statement was proved by Bay or any of the Producers. It was probably the opinion of whatever writer was hired to write it. I do think Megatron became deadlier due to his giant claw, and he was thicker and more durable, but TF1 Megatron seemed faster and a better fighter. There is also the fact in TF4 Galvatron was trying to remake his TF1 body and not his TF2 body, which would imply he prefers his TF1 body. Also consider than in TF2 Megatron and Starscream were forced to retreat by the Autobots after Optimus was killed, while in TF1 all the Autobots had to retreat when Megatron showed up. If we do just straight up say TF2 Megatron is stronger, I would drop TF1 Megatron below him rather than raise TF2 Megatron.
@@weeaboo-warrior the book was written by Simon furmon who has written numerous transformers tales including some comics which use the bayverse versions of the characters so he’s probably credible. Also megatron may only seem faster because he wasn’t getting ragdolled by Optimus in the 1st movie but that could just becaus Optimus gif stronger or became a better fighter. Also it’s kinda a bit headcanon to say which body he was tryna recreate and even then it doesn’t mean that body was inherently stronger than his ROTF body as that one was empowered by the all spark while this one wasn’t. Megatron retreating could be because he was severely weakened through his battle with Optimus which is actually directly stated in the ROTF junior novel that he fled due to his injuries with the same applying to starscream. Also again that giant claw isn’t gonna do much if he can’t hit anyone with it like if he’s so slow that he will never land a hit with it or it would be hard to hit someone with it then he should be easier to deal with that megatron making him less deadly if anything which is why I think his new body proportions don’t nerf him as much as people say if at all (or the physical amp he got from the all spark shard was greater than the nerf)

That guy probably knows his stuff, but I wouldn’t treat it as 100% fact, but I do think it’s worth considering. We know Megatron was trying to recreate his movie one body because we see it in one of the screens in the movie, and we can see his Galvatron body looks like his body from the first movie. Optimus may have become stronger and a better fighter between movies, but considering he is thousands of years old, it seems a bit of a stretch for him to get noticeably stronger in just two years. I’m fine with that interpretation though. Putting TF1 Megatron bellow TF2 is fine.

I haven’t seen AOE in a while so I’ll take your word on the screen bit but for the appearance part the only reason it resembles his TF1 body more is because it isn’t 80% legs besides that there’s nothing really that makes it look like his TF1 body (by this logic you can also say it resembles his TF3 body shape) and as for Optimus getting stronger apparently the cybertron war only lasted a few decades so Optimus may not have been training beforehand since he wasn’t a fighter which to me makes it seem much more likely Optimus could have gotten a considerable increase but if you agree with TF2 megs beating TF1 megs then that’s fine by me

Starscream in the first film put a reall big beating on itonhide and rachet, one close blast, taking bumblebees legs of. And then somehow loseing ot in the next two films.

Do we know that's the dame gun? Anyways, he seems like the type of person who would have a gun on him if needed. And he beat Sam in their hand to hand fight so he should go above him regardless if he has a gun or not.

Shockwave > DOTM Megatron and Sentinel > OG Megatron but other than that it's a good list.
Sentinel might be above movie 1 Megatron if you think movie 2 Megatron is just as good as movie 1 Megatron and Optimus just one so easily because he got better. What makes you say Shockwave is above DOTM Megatron?
@@weeaboo-warrior Both got killed by Optimus rather easily, but Megatron was at full strenght vs. a badly wounded Optimus. Shockwave did equally terrible against a full power Optimus. Megatron was hiding all the time, while Shockwave stood at the frontline almost the entire battle.
I also think that base DOTM Optimus was the strongest version of the character in all Transformers movies, so Sentinel being stronger is a better feat than Megatron in the 1st film.
@@tongatapu7325 I do think movie 3 Optimus is better than movie 1 Optimus, but Sentinel won after a very close fight while Megatron won pretty easily, so it’s hard to quantify who is better.
Megatron wasn’t participating in the battle, but I don’t think that necessarily means he would lose. His gun has better feats than Shockwave’s and he was able to rip apart Sentinel with his bare hands. Shockwave might be stronger, but it’s hard to say based off his lack of feats. We never got to see him fight someone all out.
@@weeaboo-warrior Sentinel didn't use his rust-gun in the final fight, most likely because he was out of ammo. If he had it Optimus would've been toast rather quickly.
But yes, in the end some pairings ar pretty hard to rank, like the two I mentioned.

U see in dotm, if u see carefully sideswipe actually takes the battle most actively against sentinel because he killed his mentor. Ratchet and bee kinda backed down but sideswipe solely charged to him did some damage to sentinel

Grimlock deserves prime tier tbh, he ragdolled megatron, dreadbot, nitro zeus AND barricade in a single battle. Although ppl like to say that grim lost to optimus if you think about it grimlock likely wasnt fighting seriously or fighting to win but instead was testing prime to earn the dinobots aid
Also i refuse to believe that bumblee, grindor or starscream are in the same tier as grimlock

@@weeaboo-warrior actually grimlock did ragdoll megs in the town battle, he slammed megs to the ground before killing dreadbot and later can be seen toppling nitro zeus. Also like i said, grimlock arguably battled not to win but so that prime could earn their aid. We see megatron being equal if not barely surpassing optimus as he overpowers the prime with a single arm even with bees help. Starscream aint gonna be bombing grimlock forever.
@@kingofprehistory7851 Oh I thought that was barricade not Megatron. I don’t think toppling Nitro Zeus means much, I already have him a tier higher than him. Grimlock holding back on Optimus is head canon. Optimus could be argued as holding back as well as he didn’t want to kill the Dinobots he just wanted them to join him. Grimlock is extremely strong don’t get me wrong, he is just slow and lacks range. In terms of pure physical strength he is definitely prime tier.

Starscream was always my favorite. I really like Megatron in the Bay films and Lockdown as well. Of course Bay’s Optimus Prime as well. If I were a transformer I would either be a cool sports/muscle car or a plane so I could fly.

That means Cemetery Wind was there helping him. Lockdown ambushes his targets, as seen with Ratchet and later with Optimus when he was fighting Galvatron. We do not know how Lockdown got the better of Optimus in Mexico, and we can't just assume he won fair and square.
Cementary wind didn't help Lockdown at all. Lockdown was about to kill Optimus easily if it wasn't for the humans, because Lockdown said this: '3 direct hits, mortal wound, then YOUR men allowed him to escape '

Me personally I’d put bumblebee a bit lower and put drift over him since drift easily humbled him and I’m pretty sure drift was even trying🤷♂️
I don’t think either were really trying, but that’s why I put drift above Stinger. Transformers 5 Bee just reached another level.

He would be in entire tier lower in the first 4 movies. In TF5 Bumblebee is extremely strong all of a sudden.
I dont think bee is stronger than ironhide, ironhide didnt have much spotlight as bee, but we can see he is much more durable than bee and highest firepower of the autobot team (dont count op with wings). More over he is teacher of sideswipe, seem the only 1 autobot that faster than bee, so ironhide combat skills is good enough too
I think they were right near each other right up until movie 5. The Last Knight Bee is just built different, literally.

Theres no way dark of the moon megatron goes above shockwave, and also id say shockwave is more powerful than lockdown. Not only hes shown as much more intimidating, but he was also stated to be the only one in megatron team able to defeat him (while refering to a almost prime megatron). A 1v1 against optimus wouldve proved that, but well never know
Shockwave could be above DOTM Megatron, but he just has a lack of feats. Him being above Lockdown is more questionable considering Lockdown gave Prime a real run for his money. Shockwave is physically stronger, sure, but Lockdown is way more skilled and agile.

List was ok but I heavily disagree with everyone in the prime tier of rankings. Tf1 megaton and sentinel prime only scale to base tf1-3 Optimus, while people like galvatron, lockdown, and knight form megaton have better scaling to a stronger night form optimus, so they should easily be above those earlier movie villains. Shockwave with driller should also scale above tf3 megaton at least, because he was able to tag and damage jet fire Optimus
Lockdown lost to damaged rusty pre knight Prime near the beginning of the movie and was losing to knight prime until Optimus got distracted. Galvatron fought pre knight prime only for a short time and was losing. I do agree TF5 Megatron scales above the early villains, which is why I put him above. I don’t see how damaging Optimus a little puts Shockwace above DOTM Megatron. Optimus and Sentinel are equals and DOTM Megatron damaged Sentinel way worse than Shockwave damaged Optimus.

@@adel93038 Well Optimus stomped Shockwave as well, though Shockwave was injured so it’s hard to compare them. I agree Megatron would have a hard time beating the driller since he can’t fly anymore and he might just get crushed.
