Jin, the oldest had to report the end of 2022. He was able to release a solo song before he left. "The Astronaut" was a collab with Cold Play. Jin asked Chris Martin if they could help him write a song for ARMY. Jin will finish his service June 12th. J-Hope released an album called Jack-in-the-Box. He did a solo concert at Lollapalooza. Two released MVs from the album are "More" and "Arson". He has a solo mixtape released a few years ago. Hobi enlisted the beginning of 2023. He will be back in a few months. Suga released his album D-Day and was in the midst of his tour this time last year. (I saw him in Oakland, California. Awesome concert.) Suga/Agust D/Yoongi released two mixtapes before D-Day. My suggestion is to watch "Agust D" MV from his first mixtape (good intro to his persona, Agust D), and then watch the trilogy, "Daechwita" (from second mixtape), "Haegeum" and "Amygdala" (from D-Day) Suga began his service in Sept 2023. He has a permanent injury from a 2012 motorcycle accident, so is doing community service in lieau of full combat training. He will be the last member to return the end of June of 2025. But to be fair, they first appeared at this awards show in 2014, the year after their debut in June 2013!!!! I highly recommend you start BTS full MAMA live performances from the beginning to see their true evolution and influence in K-pop. Just a side note, as BTS became more popular for their live synchronized choreographed performances, many artists refused to play at awards shows. With this performance time already allotted in the show, MAMA asked if BTS would extend their performances!!!! This is why, with each subsequent year, BTS performances were extended and looked like over the top spectacular concert performances!!!!! They all show BTS was always on point from day one!!!!!!

So jk has a right to compete with western pop artist and kpop artist he has all. Not everyone pull by singing english songs especially in kpop, even the native speakers can't get huge success with it. The key is jk has that Pop vocal from the start whether the song is English or korean, it is very visible that's why he got everything, like i said jk is still korean and kpop artist. @@Jkforever-jk He left Kpop behind in the sense that he himself said he wants to be a global pop icon. I'm in no way, shape or form questioning his identity as a Korean artist. He has the skills to compete against anybody (Western or Korean) in English or Korean. I also didn't question whether he's still under BigHit management, especially considering that all BTS members signed another 7-year contract with BigHit before their last one ended.
