I am going to be making the product, and she does the back end work, to sell and keep records. She is super gifted/loves business/ paperwork, and I have found a love of soap-making, and all things creative. Our business will be a little hobby business. I found this video encouraging towards starting our venture.

Thank you! It is recommended just as you would insure your house/car as a ‘just in case’ thing! Depends on your products and how likely they would be to cause harm/a claim
Really like your blog. have searched far and wide for information concerning prices. for example, have seen scrunches sell for as little as 12 cents for the small to as much as $24.95 for XXL. how do you guys figure the prices? I would hate to make a bunches of scrunchies, pay the price for a booth in a craft show, only to have a no sale because over pricing. Any advice?
Depends where you live I think. I started a business with my coworker and at first we had her address and her city wanted us to register so we switched to my city which didn’t make us register. It saved us $90 a year also to switch to my address.

If you set a price, maybe have different signs for prices. As the day goes on, put out the lower priced signs.
