  • 06 Aug 2015 - four otter enthusiasts put together "Our Singapore, Bishan 5 otters" in celebration of our 9th August 2015 National Day. Watch it here - • Our Singapore, Bishan-...
Spurred by the otters, a team has produced a video for National Day - this time fresh from its edits on the day itself! The video answers some long-asked questions and reveals some secrets of Singapore's best loved otter family, now Bishan 10, which ST readers choose to represent Singapore in her 51st year: www.straitstime...
They say, "thanks to The Sam Willows for allowing us to use their song, and to Dick Lee, for writing and composing the original song."

All these years of cleaning up the rivers, introducing fishes into the river steams and conservation of nature has finally paid of for Singapore.Wild otters populating and increasing in numbers is a true testimony of these conservation efforts. Thank you and congratulations to Singapore and all related groups in making sure of their survival. Urbanization and nature can and do co-exits. Protect these creatures with our hearts and mind fellow Singaporeans. Otters sense of family unity and sharing is a good role model and symbol for our nation. well done! I am very proud ! Thank you for all these videos.

Thank you, Mr LKY, for cleaning up Singapore's waterways so the otters have a place here, living side by side with us.

The day would come when some asshole's gonna make a complain like "I swear to God I was walking in the park with my daughter, minding our own business when we were attacked by a group of otters! Is there nowhere safe anymore!!??" And next thing you know is the EVA is gonna start otter culling.. 😥
