I think in 3:25 minute You shot the leading doe from this group of deers. Am I right?
In germany we say " Waidmannsheil". Nice hunt, good shots.
Excellent hunt, great marksmanship and gorgeous rifle.
From the group of red deer you shot probably the lead hind (first one of the group, you say in the video a massive hind) while there where smaller (smalltier) and even a calf in the group. Absolutely not done in my opinion and in the german forstambten where i hunt. Its always young for old, also on driven hunts. Don't let the shooting get the better of you on a driven hunt. Its an exciting way of hunting, but you need to be sharp and fast in your calling. Still a great video and a nice pig!
+Richhunting Thanks for your comment which I appreciate, however I would qualify what I did. It may be your opinion to shoot the smaller hinds / calves but we were not doing this for recreational pleasure. It was a management cull hunt to reduce numbers in commercial forestry. Our instructions were to shoot as many as we could safely and humanely. I shot the lead hind on my first shot and the next lead hind with my second shot, because they were the ones that presented the best opportunity but also to create chaos within the drive by shooting the leaders. This group remained within the drive and another three were harvested. All as part of the cull which was in itself a great success. My decision was sharp, fast and effective but perhaps doesn't sit within your ethics which I respect but not in the environment that I was performing. regards. Owen

Moderators legal in Germany?

Yes Kyle, many professional hunters with the state forestry, can now use sound moderators in Germany.
There is actually allowance in Baveria based upon application to the authorities. Other German federal states seem to follow in 2016. It makes total sense, since moderators protect the hearing by reducing around 30 db of noise. For decades German authorities were afraid of legalizing moderators for strange reasons, where other EU countries were even requesting hunters to use moderators.

Many professional hunters / rangers in Germany can now legally use Sound Moderators legally. Unfortunately recreational stalkers, at the moment, still cannot.

This kind of hunt is TOO simple....a good hunter will hunt in the mountins like the ones in austria or SWITZERLAND
