depression suuuuucks, 22 years for me, so i feel you. i can tell you that finding something that can bring you a small amount of happiness does work. i've learned to cope by picking up a new hobby every now and then when the current favorite hobby stops helping as much. i am happy to have people around me that are willing to listen to me rant without judgement too, knowing i am not alone is a big help to move past the really dark days. you got this. i'm in your corner too.
I come from a country which pierces baby girls traditionally when they’re infants and my mother still refused to do it and waited until I was old enough to ask for one myself. It was the same for my cousins and it shows that it doesn’t matter where you come from. I’m a simple Caucasian woman with no real cultural ties (such as European cultures), but I am someone who’s studying and training to become a professional piercer. Not only can the child not give consent, but it is receiving a traumatic wound that is unnecessary. Piercings are puncture wounds, similar to how a big cactus needle being impaled into your skin would be a puncture wound. Why would you force your child through unnecessary physical trauma? Now, depending on the person, some piercers are professionally trained to perform cultural piercings. I myself plan to learn how to perform such piercings for clients. If someone wants to get pierced for culture, they can find a professional who will do it, but culture isn’t an excuse to put an infant through that.

Child exploitation is even worse, however, frightening and injuring infants for the sake of society norms or beauty is morally corrupt. I cannot stress this enough. A piercing of any kind is an injury. It is a wound. almost my entire country pierce babies ears but normally its better to do it when the baby is a few months old so they really cant pull on it and i actually got mine has a baby and nothing really happened and so did my younger sister but again nothing happened

A piercing of any kind is a wound and is a trauma puncture wound at that. Healing can also go awry very quickly depending on how aftercare is done and even on how the piercing was performed. Professional piercers, assuming they’re indeed professional and not underhanded, will not pierce any infant. That being said, most likely a baby will be brought to places such as Claire’s for the earlobe piercings and those places and employees are NOT properly trained to pierce. These environments also aren’t sanitized like piercing studios, which increases the risk of infection a lot. Even in safe piercing studios, there is a risk of things going wrong albeit the risk being quite low. There’s absolutely no reason to be giving infants trauma wounds, especially when they can quickly become an infection due to unsafe piercing environments.

There is literally no point, and I just can't understand why not just ask them what they want when they're older?? She gives me the wildest look because I want more piercings (I have 8 currently). I'll be 20 in a few months but for some reason, she believes babies (females) should have their ears pierced. She even told me her mom & her siblings pierced each other's ears with sewing needles. I'm just baffled beyond belief😭
When I was a kid, I had wished that my parents had gotten my ears pierced when I was a baby...now, after having 6 gun piercings and 3 professionally done piercings, I'm glad they didn't.

I agree. I’m studying to become a professional piercer and with the knowledge I’m getting, I’m strongly against piercing infants for any reason. Piercings are trauma puncture wounds just like being stuck with a cactus needle would be a trauma puncture wound, just on a smaller scale. The fact anyone would wish to force their child through literal physical trauma wounds is astounding to me.
As someone who’s had a lot of toe injuries and toe surgeries I physically felt that toe piercing, that’s absolutely insane. Even if it is a rubber foot it’s still insane

My piercer died a couple of weeks back. I have been going to them for half of my life which is 13 years. They were a good friend to me and I’m so terribly sad for the massive loss not only for me but for the thousands of people that live in my area. Was the father of body modifications to the many metal faced people that live here. The second from last piercing they did was a dermal punch so at least I know that will be there as a nice reminder of them for the rest of my life with no risk it will heal over ❤️ But Your videos have been breaking my heart every time they come up on my notifications. My mom had my ears pierced as a baby, 2 months old if I remember the story correctly. Because "Spanish girls have their ears pierced." I'm not mad at her, I don't personally feel violated, but I would never do that to a child of my own. My mom didn't know better back then (I'm 32), I do. What I used to get mad at, was that she wouldn't let me get my nose pierced in highschool, and when she judged the piercings I got as an adult. Even though she had a nose piercing in highschool (waaaaaaay more extreme in her day), and that apparently she could decide I could have piercings as a baby, but I couldn't choose to have them as a consenting young person. She's come a long way since then, but she STILL says her nose ring was a different story because she got hers in Iran, and technically it didn't go all the way through like mine does. Apparently traditional nose rings from the region were like tiny screws. So hers was "different" and more acceptable because it was technically a surface piercing. I call BS.

I'm pretty sure the "toe piercing" was actually a surgeon putting in a rod into the toe joint to keep the toes aligned correctly as part of a foot reconstruction surgery. Still triggering though!
Ok so the “toe piercing” was actually someone having foot surgery. They put those rods thru your toys to make them straight when u have some kind of surgeries. If no one said it already.

I binge-watched so many Roly piercing fails that I've caught myself saying "What are you doing; what, whaaat are you doing?" When something someone is doing throws me.
So no I wouldn't mind more.

Your face is me every time I see that too 7:05. I straight up told my mom I would absolutely NOT get my child's ear pierced if I had one. There is literally no point, and I just can't understand why not just ask them what they want when they're older?? She gives me the wildest look because I want more piercings (I have 8 currently). I'll be 20 in a few months but for some reason, she believes babies (females) should have their ears pierced. She even told me her mom & her siblings pierced each other's ears with sewing needles. I'm just baffled beyond belief😭
When I was a kid, I had wished that my parents had gotten my ears pierced when I was a baby...now, after having 6 gun piercings and 3 professionally done piercings, I'm glad they didn't.

First of all, Roly you’re the best! Second, it should be completely illegal to pierce anyone under the age of 10. And lastly, that toe thing has to be some kind of medical procedure not a piercing
I agree. I’m studying to become a professional piercer and with the knowledge I’m getting, I’m strongly against piercing infants for any reason. Piercings are trauma puncture wounds just like being stuck with a cactus needle would be a trauma puncture wound, just on a smaller scale. The fact anyone would wish to force their child through literal physical trauma wounds is astounding to me.
As someone who’s had a lot of toe injuries and toe surgeries I physically felt that toe piercing, that’s absolutely insane. Even if it is a rubber foot it’s still insane

My piercer died a couple of weeks back.
I have been going to them for half of my life which is 13 years. They were a good friend to me and I’m so terribly sad for the massive loss not only for me but for the thousands of people that live in my area. Was the father of body modifications to the many metal faced people that live here. The second from last piercing they did was a dermal punch so at least I know that will be there as a nice reminder of them for the rest of my life with no risk it will heal over ❤️ But Your videos have been breaking my heart every time they come up on my notifications. But I’m back again and Thank you for shining light onto the world ❤️ x

I was at the mall today and a baby was getting their ears pierced at the Claire's and so many people were just standing outside the glass just watching while the poor thing was screaming bloody murder. Made my blood boil.

Roughly 10-15 years ago, some girl would do piercings in the school girls bathroom. Like any piercing. And I had to seriously persuade my old friend to NOT do this. She wanted her belly button pierced. Like really? Public bathroom!?

My mom had my ears pierced as a baby, 2 months old if I remember the story correctly. Because "Spanish girls have their ears pierced." I'm not mad at her, I don't personally feel violated, but I would never do that to a child of my own. My mom didn't know better back then (I'm 32), I do.
What I used to get mad at, was that she wouldn't let me get my nose pierced in highschool, and when she judged the piercings I got as an adult. Even though she had a nose piercing in highschool (waaaaaaay more extreme in her day), and that apparently she could decide I could have piercings as a baby, but I couldn't choose to have them as a consenting young person. She's come a long way since then, but she STILL says her nose ring was a different story because she got hers in Iran, and technically it didn't go all the way through like mine does. Apparently traditional nose rings from the region were like tiny screws. So hers was "different" and more acceptable because it was technically a surface piercing. I call BS.

I'm pretty sure the "toe piercing" was actually a surgeon putting in a rod into the toe joint to keep the toes aligned correctly as part of a foot reconstruction surgery. Still triggering though!

Ok so the “toe piercing” was actually someone having foot surgery. They put those rods thru your toys to make them straight when u have some kind of surgeries. If no one said it already.

As for me, I managed to leave the big city a few hours before the first explosions. Now I am with my family, far from the city. We are fine, we are scared, but we are going to help however we can. And also, today is my birthday. Those two days were extremely difficult because I wasn't sure I would live to see tomorrow. I am a very emotional person and I was impressed by my own self-control in this situation. I'm proud that I didn't allow a mental breakdown or tantrums, but now I'm exhausted and I just want to feel nothing, because now that I'm relatively safe, the alternative is tears.

When I first started to stretch my ears, I was very naive and went to fast and put myself through a lot of pain for nothing. Now I go super super slow to not make the blow out worse.
