Interestingly, Warne said that and not Slater. Plus, I remember 2011, i.e. the incurza era as a good period for Bell. Sadly because of the India 2011 home series double...
That was actually one of the best ashes series in Australia, usually they are one sided with horrible flat pitches and 43degree C sunny days, but that series was actually very good.
Lovely batsman to watch. England made a mistake by putting him in to open the batting when he was out of form, he should have had a longer career than he did. He was one of the main reasons we won the 2013 Ashes.
Bell nicked one on about 60 from memory, but the decision or DRS went his way. He still played well though and we weren't going to win anyway, we were absolute rubbish that summer.
Such a magnificent player with that Adidas sticker bat and pink handle!! Man I still remember how he destroyed India in 2011 just after their World Cup victory l
Was ironic hearing warnie commentate his wicket and talk up his first ton considering warnie terrorised him early on😂😂😂 bell was one batsman i actually liked from the poms, him- stokesy and root... i always liked stewart too but he wasnt all that good ( just liked his ability to bat anywhere)
SINGH why they were just in losing causes unlike Smith who is so much better than Kohli at tests and probs at cricket in general as test cricket is the hardest format. However I will admit that Kohli has a great odi record. And T20 is not a format that anyone cares about but anyway Kohli has a great record there. However Smiths average of 12 more runs in test cricket clearly puts him above Kohli at playing cricket. This was also clearly shown in the series vs Australia in 2017 where Smith scored 500 runs compared to Kohlis 47😂😂😂😂😂. Also Kohli always flops and chokes in big and deciding games unlike smith who lead his team to World Cup glory. E.g. WC semi final 2015 - Aus vs Ind - India chasing 330 thanks to a brialliant Smith century under pressure and in a big game - something Kohli can never do. India need to score at a very fast rate in order to win the match - Rohit and Dharwan get India of to a great start in the chase and India are looking as if they could win but then Kohli comes in when his team needs him to continue the momentum created by the openers, but Kohli feels the pressure of the situation and chokes to make 1 off 12 balls!!!😂😂😂😂 That flop show from Kohli effectively loses his team the game!!! This evidence presented above clearly shows that Smith is head and shoulders above Kohli at cricket
Potato that's what I said don't compare unorthodox player with a player like Kohli without eye hand coordination he is nothing Kohli, Williamson n root is far better than smith across all the formats of the game
Nyorm wth are you saying kohli is the best under pressure,I would bet my life on him and I respect smith but kohli has way more match winning knocks across all formats of the game
One of the most underrated player!
Not underated he is well known player in the test cricket
@@pakalahemantthrao9930 true, not much recognition like others
Underachiever as well. He was someone who you would bet to get 10k+ test runs. Very sad that he didn't come close to his potential
Struggled early on in tests was seen as a nearly man. For Warwickshire he was immense the talent was always there.
Not underrated
That cover drive at 2:38 is just perfection
best driver in england
Right
Yep. Sublime.
It’s just become normal when watching highlights of this series to see cook on a century. He was on fire here
I was about to comment on this. He was classy that series.
2005, 2009, 2010/11, 2013, 2015 - Legend
bell the most classiest batsman
One of the Greatest English Batsman of all time.. He was Mr. Reliable at his prime.. 🔥🔥🔥
“Ian Bell’s probably the most inform batsmen in the England side”
I don’t think Slater watched the previous 4 tests and Cook’s innings...
He only averaged 125 that tour...
Interestingly, Warne said that and not Slater. Plus, I remember 2011, i.e. the incurza era as a good period for Bell. Sadly because of the India 2011 home series double...
It was Warne who said that
@@Rob-nl5ge fair enough then, my apologies
He is one of the most stylish player I have seen. His coverdrive is joy to watch
The best driver of the ball I've ever seen.
Nah....Damien Martyn
@@andrewdoyle4089 Nah Kumar Sangakkara
Such An Awesome player. Respect
No Warne and McGrath

Please upload the centuries of Alastair Cook and Kevin Pietersen as well.
He is such a sweet timer of a ball
why would someone dislike such a technically sound display?
Purely masterclass
That scoreboard looks pretty awesome
My favourite ever batsman
Lovely inning from nice man
Good cricket played by Ian Bell

Here just to watch his perfection on Cover Drives 🥰🥰
Full of class:-)

Classy player, was a joy to watch bat!

All class
"Most in-form batsman in the England side"? Didn't Cook amass some 800 odd runs that series?
766 in 7 innings. He was insanely good
No he didn’t
2:24
I think Bell is ine if the best test batsmen of all time, particularly In ashes, im an Aussie too
Why was he batting at 7?
And today there we have Sibley, Crawly and Belly may still come out better them both.
How come he came in at 7
0:32 safe ass?😂
I.was checking cook's score
why bell isn't playing test cricket for England!!! they suck in opening he would be a great addition
Such a magnificent player with that Adidas sticker bat and pink handle!! Man I still remember how he destroyed India in 2011 just after their World Cup victory l
Bell should play a few more internationals for England
Nice batsman later in his career, bit sketchy early in his career but hsd a gr8 cupla years scoring for fun
Can anyone shed any light on why he was coming in at number 7 for this game?
Bell batted well above his average off field......Have you seen his wife Chantal?
Yes she is very pretty, good on him, as an Aussie always liked bell, aswell as being a fantastic batsman he appears to be a good bloke too
Some one notice p.Huge ??
*Still he isn't in the national side*

Potato you cringe..nope Kohli > smith by miles how dare you compare an unorthodox player like smith with king kohli
#flogstralians things 😂😂
Surya R Smith is good because of his unorthodox technique
