Dre the best, but man them 70's dudes were just on a whole nothing level. I can not get this sound out my mind. It has my spirit lifting even without the song playing. From January 1970 to December 1979 I believe I heard the best collaboration of music making out of any decade ever. Spirits were extremely high before and after concerts.
Yeah because they grew up writing music . Dre came in era where they freestyled beats just from listening to their thoughts . That’s why he’s a DJ at the start of his career
I concur. I was 10 years old in 1978 and I remember some of the best music from that Era. Today's music sounds good but for me, I feel like the 70s and 80s were the absolute best ❤
“I Want You” one of my favorite tunes by Master Marvin, you’re correct in saying you’ll never be able to surpass the original…but your creation has a nice groove.

Black American 🇺🇸 music and culture is the foundation of Hip Hop and ALL modern music, that’s correct Doctor you’ll never do it better than the original pioneers. Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, etc., etc., etc.
Yeah, but this beat is actually a lord finesse beat. Hip hop is based on theft. You cant call it sampling or inspiration when the entire beat is stolen.
@@oliver6257true how can no africans do the same music as black americans, black americans took the white instruments and made music with them, even dre working on a studio music apparel made by white dudes, all black music is a mixed music, or a mulatto music if you want
I've always been in love with Marsha Ambrosius. Even when she was bigger. She and her floetry partner opened up for India Arie at the orpheum here in Memphis and she started serenading the men. Honestly i had never seen an rnb female artist do that before. I melted. Ill be honest.. Been in love with her since then. Thank you Marsha. Will always be a fan.
Many people just wouldn't understand untill you show them how the process is done to understand the hard work determination & dedication it takes in making a hit coming from you:#1 You are extremely skilled and talented producer, rap artist engineer, ceo and above in the game

I respect his creativity here, but he was correct when he said he'd never be able to do it better than they did. 70s RnB/soul is unmatched on vocal and musical craftsmanship.

There are different elements on that mix but they may only have been samples of the song's different instruments programmed to play along at different points of the song. Dre's focus was more on mixing the song's tracks with little additional elements such as the drums and claps playing along.
Wow, I didn't realize this was the Underboss remix. I heard it playing on overhead speakers and couldn't make it out and thought it was someone sampling the song and putting beats over it. Maybe the object is not to try to improve something but just to present it differently. It would be like one museum displaying the Mona Lisa vs the first one to ever do it. Maybe it's just an honor to be able to present it within their walls. I actually enjoy this version as well.
