    Posted - No Trespassing!
    Jerry- - "The gate's open", and just trespasses all over the property.

    • @Rollin_L
      @Rollin_L 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      The property is open to visitors. If they don't want anyone coming in, they close the gates. Jerry was not trespassing. I would note that the first area he describes, that was filled with water, is the remains of the tornado shelter that was under construction at the time of the ATF raid. The well was nearby. FBI destroyed the well and plumbing, causing the shelter to flood, so it is not merely rainwater. The other area he correctly identifies as the swimming pool. These features are clearly visible in the aerial shots one can find on the web. They are all that remains of the structure, other than a concrete slab behind the new church, which was part of the floor of the "gymnasium" structure at the back.

      Can you go out to the church

    • @Rollin_L
      @Rollin_L 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@ronaldjorgensen8738 You can on some days. There are folks who live there, and there are times when they close up the gates to get some privacy, understandably. Not aware that there is any regular schedule, but I've not been there in the past two years. I would say that, if you are in the area, it doesn't hurt to swing by. If the gates are open, you are probably okay to drive in, park and walk around respectfully. If you see any of the residents out, I'd suggest you politely make contact. It would not be unusual to see other visitors there. They are quite used to that, just be respectful and open minded. The folks who have been there the longest were not Koresh followers, but part of the pre-Koresh branch. Long story. Saturday remains their Sabbath, being Adventist based, so I would not suggest anyone visit that day. Whether the new church building is open, or the small visitor's center, will depend on the day I expect.

    I was in Bible college when this went down. We believed what the media put out without even looking into it for ourselves. After finding out that most of those that went to jail were exonerated, I started looking into what really went down. The government fed media claimed that Kuresh was saying he was Jesus. He never said that. He said he was Christ, Messiah, and lamb of God. What is Christ? It means anointed one. What does Messiah mean? Also, anointed one. What does lamb of God mean? One that dies for God. Did he lie? Did he rape children? Did they sell illegal weapons? According to the court documents, none of those things happened. All evidence was falsified and Janet Renos DOJ was complicit with it. They claimed that the Davidians set fire to their own buildings and filled the rooms with CS gas. All lies. I read much of what Kuresh wrote, I watched many MSM interviews with him and everything they said he said was completely twisted to fit their narrative, the governments. So sad that we put any trust in what the media claims.

There's nothing wrong with that, but you need to research as many primary sources as you can if you hope to have a halfway valid opinion on a real event. An opinion based solely on watching a tv show is not worth very much. You should know that.

    I just finished watching the series WACO on NF. So damn tragic. Those children that died, that's what I can't get past. The adults were done wrong, no doubt about it, wronged by a false messiah's own pride (I might even argue that putting their faith in religion at all was the real issue), wronged by their own country's over zealous law enforcement agencies, and wronged by the media. Ultimately though, they were personally responsible for their decision to stay there and die. But those children... The children were wronged by all of the above, and by their very own parents. It's truly too much to bear, and the seeds were planted for right wing extremist to grow. I don't think it is too far fetched an idea to say if it were not for Waco (and Ruby Ridge) being handled like it was buy law enforcement, the modern day right wing extremist movement would not even exist. Oh if we could only turn back time.
