lena i’ve been following you since you were a senior in highschool and i discovered you from tiktok , I enjoy all your videos and was wondering if you could ever post a video how you take/ took notes for calculus 😭 or how you do ur notes in general as they look very organized and neat
hi! sorry for the late reply 🥲 tysm!! didn’t know there was anyone who saw my tiktok first before yt haha i might not be the e best person to ask for study tips LOL but here is basically what i do to help myself understand the concepts and prepare for exams. In high school I always focused on trying out as many as questions possible, but in uni I started taking notes for the specific concept with their formulas, and sometimes with the most general example! for instance, if I was writing notes for the taylor polynomial, I would write the formula beside the heading, and then below it would draw a box to write down step by step procedure on how to derive the formula and how it’s related to other concepts or formulas in calculus. In uni, calculus is more about understanding where things come from rather than memorizing formulas and question types ! once you understand, get some practice done! but remember that there isn’t a finite number of the different questions that exists in math so don’t focus on memorizing how to solve certain type of questions. hope this helps!!
