It's more than a visual bug. He played the Shudderwocks all in a row, then the two Tar Creepers last, but the shudderwock bounce battlecry put the tar creepers back in the hand. The Tar Creepers weren't on the board when ANY Shudderwock was played.

I think what might happen is that Saronite Chain Gang's battlecry might become "Summon a Saronite Chain Gang." This breaks the most common and consistent combo with Shudderwock.
Yogg was at least hilarious. Sometimes he just managed to nuke you oponent, but most of the time he just finished off the job your oponent did, wich is killing you. This is funny the 1st time you see it. Afterward it just gets a pain

that combo, only a few hours have passed and i already lived it XD pls blizzard, that chaman combo is the more braindead thing ever, people will concede just for not having to stay 1 hour extra playing the same match xd
Funny thing is, I don't even have Shudderwock and was playing around with a generic elemental shaman deck and have a total of 8 free wins when my opponent auto conceded at the start of the match.
Actually its not, is easier than most control decks, but you need to keep count of the battlecries (because of the 16 Bc cap) and surviving against aggro as any control deck.
Easy. Ban Shaman / target shaman. I would like to see pro players testing the second option and see if they can some up with something. Although noone would love 2 target-lineups facing i think, Shudderwok mirror seems pretty ridiculous.
I can't even call this a legitimate tcg let alone competitive or balanced. Hearthstone prob the worst (balance-wise) but fun card game out there. I mean this game is just broken and too much RNG.
plus game testing isn't really that great of a thing, most of the time you are stuck doing the one little task over and over for hours, documenting anything that happens.

No matter how long the animation goes on, it will never skip opponents turn- this was actually a problem that was happening with some people cheesing out really long animations cycles to skip opponents turns, so now the turn timer for opponents only starts when the animations end.
I wonder how this deck would be if you played marin the fox, just give them a full board of 0/8 treasure chest and they cant play anything unless they have buff cards :p
because a board full of 0/8 is harder to deal with and the banana strategy only works if the enemy's hand is empty. you can easily clear their board and fill it up with 0/8s and they cant really do much with them. they cant play anymore minions because there is no space left. they can only play spells. they dont want to be wasting premium removal on them, and to make them useful they would need to have buff spells, which not many classes have or would run. where as bananas, they simply just need 1 minion in hand, they play it, then they can play the bananas on it.
Good Idea, the thing is tho, you don't need it. As soon as you got your pieces assembled you win and before that all you need is boardclear and carddraw.

Hello, 28:36 There is something weird, one of the Shudderwock got hit and killed by the Volcano while being in your hand and got destroyed with a discard animation, thus giving you a total of 10 cards in your hand. It's probably because there was 10 real cards + 1 minion in your hand. It was a Shudderwock that wasn't with the others, and it had a 9 mana cost. And if you check the last battlecries that happened at this moment, you find out that there was one Saronite Chain Gang battlecry after the last Grumble battlecry, wich means that the final board would normaly contains 2 Shudderwock instead of 1. Conclusion : @Disguised Toast 2 you're innocent ! It's just a visual bug that put an actual sumoned minion into your hand like a vulgar card. This may even have looked diferently from your opponent's perspective that would have the truth on his screen. Have a nice day =)

It also leaves you with nothing to do but concede when they start it, they only have to play a couple of good cards to get it started and they draw it and they win. When one card alone beats you it's ridiculous. People disliked yogg but he could kill the hero. This is yogg but with controlled effects which lead to straight up winning the game every time.
kloaf inconsistent? You just have to wait to 10 mana, with all the draw shaman has in spells without needing battlecries for it, it's the easiest combo to pull off. You only need to not die against braindead aggro decks
New decks have not come yet. Theres most likely a deck to counter this. This is literally jade druid but more cancerous. All blizzard can do is nerf shudderwock to 10 mana, so there is more rng and more chances to fail.

Wild Jade shaman wouldn't play it as "infinite" combo. instead it would be 9 Mana summon shudder and 6 ever growing Jades (+potential other fun stuff) It's practically DK Gul'dan for Jade.

Funny thing is, I don't even have Shudderwock and was playing around with a generic elemental shaman deck and have a total of 8 free wins when my opponent auto conceded at the start of the match.
Actually its not, is easier than most control decks, but you need to keep count of the battlecries (because of the 16 Bc cap) and surviving against aggro as any control deck.

No matter how long the animation goes on, it will never skip opponents turn- this was actually a problem that was happening with some people cheesing out really long animations cycles to skip opponents turns, so now the turn timer for opponents only starts when the animations end.

why? Dragon keeps the enemy board clean, so add King Mukla.
Instead of a board full with 0/8 he gets a hand full of bananas with an empty board.
because a board full of 0/8 is harder to deal with and the banana strategy only works if the enemy's hand is empty. you can easily clear their board and fill it up with 0/8s and they cant really do much with them. they cant play anymore minions because there is no space left. they can only play spells. they dont want to be wasting premium removal on them, and to make them useful they would need to have buff spells, which not many classes have or would run.
where as bananas, they simply just need 1 minion in hand, they play it, then they can play the bananas on it.
Good Idea, the thing is tho, you don't need it. As soon as you got your pieces assembled you win and before that all you need is boardclear and carddraw.

28:36 There is something weird, one of the Shudderwock got hit and killed by the Volcano while being in your hand and got destroyed with a discard animation, thus giving you a total of 10 cards in your hand.
It's probably because there was 10 real cards + 1 minion in your hand.
It was a Shudderwock that wasn't with the others, and it had a 9 mana cost.
And if you check the last battlecries that happened at this moment, you find out that there was one Saronite Chain Gang battlecry after the last Grumble battlecry, wich means that the final board would normaly contains 2 Shudderwock instead of 1.
Conclusion : @Disguised Toast 2 you're innocent !
It's just a visual bug that put an actual sumoned minion into your hand like a vulgar card.
This may even have looked diferently from your opponent's perspective that would have the truth on his screen.

Best way to nerf shudderwock enough to kill the combo but not the card, is to make it so the battlecry can only be cast once per game
but blizzard literally intended for it to be zola'd and baleful'd. This would kill the card completely as it's main perk is the extra copies. not to mention discovering it with blazing invocation

everyone knew this was coming, even the devs. They admitted in a interview they knew shudderwock was capable of this and then released it anyway.

It may not be the mechanic itself , but the duration.
Priest was cancer because their otk took long, this is even longer.
Veranicus this takes long but is sooooo easy. It also leaves you with nothing to do but concede when they start it, they only have to play a couple of good cards to get it started and they draw it and they win. When one card alone beats you it's ridiculous. People disliked yogg but he could kill the hero. This is yogg but with controlled effects which lead to straight up winning the game every time.
one card? pretty sure you need atleast 5 to make this work. It's inconsistent and it's not even that good.
kloaf inconsistent? You just have to wait to 10 mana, with all the draw shaman has in spells without needing battlecries for it, it's the easiest combo to pull off. You only need to not die against braindead aggro decks
dying to agro decks is hard when you run 2 healing rains, volcanos and lightning storms. Shudderwock has no counters
New decks have not come yet. Theres most likely a deck to counter this. This is literally jade druid but more cancerous. All blizzard can do is nerf shudderwock to 10 mana, so there is more rng and more chances to fail.

the issue isnt that its an OTK its that its a 10 min OTK
It more blizzard fault for not play test stuff before releasing stuff so don't blame you for hath 11 cards in hand I blame blizzard for make a broken card that made it super easy

But wouldnt that take up every single slot in your hand with jades?
Wild Jade shaman wouldn't play it as "infinite" combo. instead it would be 9 Mana summon shudder and 6 ever growing Jades (+potential other fun stuff)

this kills mobile players 100% with obvious skip turn exploit ! i always play on my way to work on my mobile phone ...... seriously this card has to be removed not nerfed.
Nerfed isn't the right word. They need to change the card. The core concept of the card is breaking the game.
I remember seeing this when it came out and I was stunned to see the 11 cards in hand and then it was just oh, one of the Shudderwocks was *actually* was on the board and just visual error.
