Hi BadaBing, Completely off topic question for you. In terms of GBB Pistols are there any makes to avoid? I am coming back to the sport after 20 years and for my first pistol I was looking at the TM M&P 9 due to the ease of getting parts and the quality of the make but I was also drawn by the price of the ICS Alpha Black Leopard Eye, but I'm worried about the future availability of parts and mags etc. What would your thoughts be?
+Polecat The Pistoleer Hi! Welcome back to the game. There aren't very many brands you need to completely avoid, most lower end pistols you'll come across are mostly clones of higher tier manufacturers. I recommend the TM M&P9, a friend of mine has one and it's been keeping him in the game since it's first day on the field. You can't really go wrong with a TM pistol, they just know how to make decent reliable gbb's. Their M&P has great performance, easy available parts/mags and plenty of aftermarket upgrades. I haven't seen the ICS BLE in person so I can't comment on its ability, low price point doesn't necessarily mean it's a POS, but as you say with parts and mags potentially being difficult to source. Like most things you get what you pay for. An extra £30 will buy you the reassurance of mags, parts and upgrades to further extend its longevity.
Hi BadaBing, thanks for the response mate. That's great info thank you, I will definitely go for the TM . There are a lot of reviews on TH-cam from the U.S but what is common for them seems different for us, in terms of availability and parts etc. Glad to find someone who knows GBB's over here. Thanks again for the response and enjoy being a s£"%^l tyrannosaurus, not having time to bleed and digging out those pesky Alabama ticks :o)
+Steve Brittain It's about as fast as it'll get without hooking up something juicer, that is until CA release the upgraded motor that they have been promising.
It might just be harder to see on video. I'll wait on the upgrades for a bit, was thinking about tracer attachments on each barrel lol. Or maybe install led in the ammo reservoir!
Haha. That would be bad ass! I've seen the upgrade kit that includes a huge flash hider, I suppose one could rig it up with tracer units in there. But more cost effective to have the LED's in the magazine.
Great video as always! Quick question for you. I just picked a new generation VFC HK416 gbb. The accuracy is good and the gas efficiency is phenomenal (I get around 3 full mags per gas charge on burst firing). Recoil is sharp and snappy as well. However, when I cycle the bolt manually, it does not feel smooth and feels sluggish. Is this normal? Also, the push pins are extremely hard to punch out. Much harder to disassemble than my actual AR and JG M4 GBBR. Is this also a normal issue with the VFC 416 series?
+Georg Luger Thanks! Congrats on the purchase. So your 416 is sluggish when manually charged? I wouldn't say it's abnormal. In my experience with GHK M4 have yielded similar results. It's quite slow to return after manually charging back and release. You could try lightly coating up the carrier somewhat with some high viscosity Silicone oil. This should slick up the action. Yeah I know what you mean about the stiff receiver pins. The HK417 was exactly the same, it loosened up over time and was perfect. With continued use it may get better, but if it doesn't you can take off half a mm on the pins. Just enough where you don't need tools to punch out, but still have handling resistance. Again, having the same symptoms on the GHK M4.
Thanks for your prompt reply! Glad to hear that the sluggishness is normal. I was on the verge of deciding wether I would continue collecting AEGs or GBBRs, but the 416 pushed me over the edge to the GBB side. GBBs are simple too fun to use! :)
they could have easily designed the gun with the handle at the back and the trigger at the front to it could be wielded with one hand, but they didn't. im disappointed.

That little plastic L shape broke last weekend do you know if they sell replacements anywhere or if it's possible to add a braided line
I might be getting one for christmas, so this will be really useful.
And?
I know this video is old but would know the safest way to upgrade the hpa line to the micro gun?
Mine was fitted with a braided line straight into the plastic. Strong and flexi
hi, are those barrels threaded ? can i use xt301 tracers ?

If you get on well with GBBR's, it's unlikely to go back to AEG's. I have one just in case but the rest are all Gas!
Is it possible to adjust the rate of fire?
Not as it is, no.
CA have an upgraded motor which increases the ROF, but that is sold separately.
@@BadaBingPictures How do you install it?
@@JValor I’ve got no idea. I sold the M132 before the upgrade motor was released.
Another great video 👌

Yes time to let ol painless out the bag. Love it.
