One thing I like about Jason, he’s a teacher in a sense and he takes you places. You don’t have to wonder what a town is like.
Thank you Shawn, I try
Professor Green👍🏽
He takes you to quite a few beds of nails . I thought you meant Jason from Friday the 13th .
Jason delivers a real-life blend of Spinal Tap & Curb Your Enthusiasm
2 of my favorites!
This is the most succinct description of what Jason shows us that happens on the road. You win the Internet today @jonasirw1
If you made a show about exploring dressing rooms after rock stars were done using them I think the world would be glued to the screen!
That would be gold! But I don’t think the other bands would appreciate it much
Jason Green, you captured the road life in an exceptional way. A lot of people think it's all glam, parties, and big money when in reality for many musicians and stars they are lucky to live a basic life if they manage money well. Almost 32 years ago, I was sitting with Tracii Guns from L.A. Guns at a club called Backstage and he asked me, "What do you do for a living?" I said, "I teach." He said, "My dad is a teacher." I said, "I want to be a rock star." He said, "No you don't. It f**king sucks! Keep being a teacher you will do better and help people." I've never regretted not being a rock star and in between summers off from teaching, I've been able to blog, play many places, eating great food, meeting cool people, staying in 3-star plus hotels. and enjoying life while raising a family and being a dad. Road life is a difficult life for sure. If a person hates work, the road is not a place for them, because 16-hour days can sometimes be the norm.
It's a young person's game. If you're over 50 and still gigging but struggling with money and struggling to pay the bills you're f*cked regardless of what band you're playing with or associated with. It's not a spot you want to be in.
Jason, I’ve been following your tour dairies from the beginning. I’m a huge fan of ‘80s rock and have recently started learning Ratt songs on bass guitar. I enjoy going to concerts and discovering how tour life works. Please continue posting your tour diaries as I find your content especially with Johnny Monaco to be incredibly entertaining. All the best to you and future travels on the road.
Cool. I saw Mr Big last week. Going to Dokken & Bullet Boys this Saturday.
Then, Lynch Mob & Great White the following Saturday. 😊
Living it up!
You do a great job explaining everything and showing the good & slow/boring times. Really appreciate you Jason!
New subscriber. Love this channel. Feels like I’m right there with you!! Thanks for posting Jason!!!

Thanks and sorry for delaying your sleep, I hope you like this one!
Another great tour diary! Looks like a cool venue. I feel both your and Johnny’s pain with these hooligan airline passengers that sit behind you lol! ⚡️⚡️ thanks for doing these sessions Jason!
I can't say it enough what a great perk to have by being a PATREON awesome Tour Diaries as usual
Friday 13th part 5 is one of my favs… Violet doing the Robot is classic!
I think that soccer dad with goatee look and mohawk is gonna catch on.
Sad but true, like you said we all have opinions and none of them matter. The Original version of any great Band usually is most ppls favorite, Love the channel Jason, keep the content coming!!
Thank you
On a cross country motorcycle trip, my sportster ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere in Kansas. A fella in a pickup truck pulled up, would not take no for an answer, loaded my bike and my dumb ass…took me to a gas station, dropped me off right at the pump and absolutely refused to take any money….i have great memories of Kansas and there are some terrific people in this great USA. I enjoy your videos
Jason, first off thanks for the vids. Can you please ask Mr.Pearcey to “get the band back together”?
There’s only one replacement on rhythm, and that be Carlos.
Ratt n Roll
He’s tried, don’t think it will happen
I heard.Figured maybe you could get”the ball rolling”!! Thanks for the reply.Cheers from the jersey coast!!
Ratt n Roll since 84’
So awesome. I love the vlog stuff so much
My hometown!! Love these road diaries!
never disappoints, love the show. Thanks Jason
Thanks Janice!
All right! A Sunday evening surprise (Australian time).
I’m full of surprises! I hope you like this one
That cake in Slaughter’s dressing room was epic! 😂
:)
So was the drained bottle of Patron! Johnny was impressed hahaha ⚡️⚡️
Vixen's room was cleaned out and Johnny's comment was funny. "I'm surprised the doors are still there". They certainly can take it all as Jason stated. That Roxy, she's a champ.
fun episode once again. Thanks Jason.
Thanks :)
33:42 - Johnny: "They drank a whole bottle of Patron??" 😂
It was just announced today Stephen is coming to Dallas (The Colony) in April! WHOO HOO!
See ya there
Great vids dude. Luv it and keep it up 👍 😊
HiJason,
I live in France and I thank you for all your videos.
It’s really great to experience your life on the road.
In addition, we learn lots of things about the cities and hotels where you stay
I hope you will post a video of your shows in Las Vegas with Night Ranger.
It would be great to see you in Europe!
I love watching your show.
Thanks Jeff!
Thanks for taking us along on another adventure
That’s a killer venue….i love it! Reminds me of the old Ohio Center in Columbus.
I want some Stephen Pearcy merchandise ❤🥰🥰. He has always been my favorite 😍
Another good diary just saw Extreme live on their new tour. Pretty impressive show!
Excellent ❤ really enjoyed watching!
Glad you enjoyed it Scarlett!
Good luck on your cruise and I hope there's no passport issues. Looking forward to that update.
🤞
Thanks Jason appreciate u man🎉❤
Thank you, i appreciate you watching
This is my new favorite channel 🤘🏻
Now! I like Tears for Fears now. “Advice for the Young at heart”
I don’t think I even knew what that was
It's all good lol, just keep educating us out here. Your awesome. Great channel! @@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen
Scott is awesome in the Stephen band and Ace Frehley videos.
There's not a better TH-cam influencer than Jason Green...
Thank you :)
You might be right. Honestly
Hey Jason, just wanted to thank you for taking time to make these vids for us.. the fans!!
Also I live about 2 hrs north of Atlanta and I REALLY want to catch a show from you guys, are you going to come to/around Atlanta? I'm about 2 hrs NW of Chattanooga, so if you guys are coming close to either of these cities I could catch a show. Thx again for your time and effort you put into these vids.
Hilarious one liners in this one, is Gordon Jump venus Flytrap?
Awesome brother....🤘
Thanks
Can’t wait for the Ohio show at MGM!!!
See you there
congratulations on 17k
Thank you, you were the first to alert me! :)
Please. Hit that LIKE button!
👍
Best arena size ever.
Hockey arenas were ok in the 80s-90s when crowds were crazier without cells.
Great concert venue really where everyone will get a right stage view.
Slaughter don't belong, few good songs only.
Ratt godfathers of Hard Rock with Dokken,Great White and Motley Crue.
Many other bands but the ones named have at least 4-5 great albums.
Dokken,Great White and Ratt no filler songs-never.
Could the tv in your room be any smaller?
"I'm surprised the doors are still here"
You know what would be humorous? When you're walking alone down a hotel corridor, come around a corner, and there's Johnny napping in an empty guitar case. I don't wanna say the guy's small, but....
Thats the 3D Friday the 13th !!
No the 3D one was part 3, that was 5
Hey Jason, send me an application for your road crew ... I'm in... for sure. Tom OP Fla
69 I get every now and then 😂 Did you mean *69 rofl 🎉😂
I quite like F13 PART V. Fans still trash it, but I like how sleazy and violent it is.
I need to watch it again all the way through, but I know it brings back good memories of seeing it
Love your channel and videos but why does the sound always go out on these?
Copyright
got ya thought that may be the case cheers @@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen
Stryper is the best. In 2024 still the best
Matt L. (@18:01) is in so many of Jason's videos, he should get a cut. Haha
If you’re so concerned, you should go order one of his CDs
mattthorne.myshopify.com
I meant my friend Matt. Not Thorne. @@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen
People train go out of Stubbville …😬
173. 69 on the first floor is pretty good
Where’s Blas ?
Here in Las Vegas & currently not in Slaughter
Why doesn't the other guitar player join in your adventures ?
Why did the last Vixen song audio get muted...?
Song was flagged for copyright
@omeTimewithJasonGreen I sorta figured that. But why that one, and not the others I wonder? Different songwriters or publishing holders? Amazing how even a live performance gets flagged.
Jason I hope your visit to my home state went better than that of Del Griffith and Neal Page.
I found the greatest pair of shower rings there
We're is Stephan???
“Where” he’s not in every episode, which is why it’s called “my life on the road” he does appear from time to time and there is always footage of him on stage
What happens if a band keeps going over time
If a supporting band goes too far over, you have to have the production cut them off. Some of these venues have a curfew and it’s necessary to stay on time
@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen if it happens a lot do they get labeled as hard to work with or not get as many opportunities? Thanks for the input
Seems kinda like basic business travel - which I never enjoyed, but I sure did drink a hell of a lot and have a lot of hangovers….engineering, so boring business travel. Aside from stage time, I bet this is not all that different 😊
Aging isn't the issue, performance is Jack Russell still hits all the notes... This fake singer with Mark Kendall is a joke.....
The joke is the guy can’t stand up and sorry he can’t any notes ,you don’t have to like this version, but Jack won’t be alive much longer
Great bands but.... Fake Great White. Jack Russell is Great White... the real deal.... Mark Kendall is not Great White. Just saying..... 😅😅😅
Jack Russell looks like ‘weekend at Bernie’s’ and is unwatchable
I've seen Jack Russell Great White... His Guitar player is much better than Kendall ever thought about being...classically trained as well and played the songs better than Mark. 2016 concert in Amarillo Texas. Great White, Lita Ford, Firehouse didn't show up, and the Bobby Blotzer Ratt which was a shit show at best😂😂😂
Are the bands able to pay their bills?
Based on what I know some of these guys get paid, they could pay yours too
All that to play to an empty house.
I’m guessing you’re playing to packed houses?
@omeTimewithJasonGreen I never miss a show that comes to Dallas. Ex-rock stars who come play here. It's usually all ages here in Dallas so I take my 3 daughters with me being a single dad. I want to introduce them to real music. Gus G was probably the worst human being of all of them so far. They are playing to 35 to 60 people maybe wiht some shows probably 20 people who are mostly regulars sometimes leaving mid-way of the show and they treat the fans/ whoever by accident ended up in the building like dirt. I go to hear the music. The kids expect to meet them and get something from the experience. It's a different generation and these guys mean nothing to them and these over-the-hill losers give them no reason to return. They dug their own grave. Take the time to get dressed, drive to the show, find a place to park, pay the money, endure the dives they now play in, and watch a band that has maybe 1 or 2 original members some don't even have any original members in the band in a building with a hand full of people and these guys come out and piss off the few who went through the trouble to go and see the show. This is no longer the 80s. It's 2024 and a garage band draw is not the same as playing a stadium. The expectation of a band that pulls a garage band draw is much different than a band playing a stadium with no pyro, no stage show, etc... One is better off going to see the garage band play because at least they will come out and meet people and be nice to people. After all, the quality of the music now is pretty much the same and in some cases, the garage bands are better. It's a dead sport mostly due to the players. Something like what they do needs to be a fun experience other than an old dude with a wig pretending he is still 18 and huge.
