- A great place if you what a peaceful hour or so on the station, until a thrashing freight train comes at Appleford.
Me and my mate Ben had a great chance to try out different angles with most freight coming from the north.
Awesome Mike wow! Great place and great catches, double Redshed heaven n boxes 207 later no wonder they were rushing along! A nice shot of the Chinook as well, pity 66723 wasn't passing by haha! Really enjoyed as i always do, cheers Nick.
Thanks for checking this one out Nick, sorry I'm a day late in replying as I've been out looking for them red one's, Mike.
@@antman09ful1oh in that case your forgiven haha!
Excellent captures, and a nice bonus shot of the Chinook 👍
Oh yes the sound of them Chinooks can be heard for a long time, cheers for watching Mike.
Nice location Mike and super freight (and chopper) action. Cheers - Allan. 👍
Thank you Allan for taking a look at my video, regards Mike.
Some nice captures there Mike.. The line through Didcot and then through Oxford is still quite busy even now. Back in the day of course it would have been an mgr each way I addition. Well done, and you seem to be guessing the weather as well 🤓
Yes it is Tony, I have to say I think I enjoy filming this line more than the WCML these days.
Have a good weekend Mike.
Brilliant video as always Mike, and once again a location that most people wouldn't consider visiting. Plenty of red sheds for Nick as well. Have a great weekend mate,
all the best, Colin.
Thanks Colin for your continued interest in my videos, I must start thinking about coming up your way next month.
Cheers Mike.
Will be away up in Oban first week and down in Yorkshire at the end of August Mike. Other than that the month is clear right now.Hopefully get to see you, Colin.
OK thanks Colin, see you in mid August then.
Will text you with some dates.
A very nice station and a good video Mike
Think we got there just at the right time.
Great video Mike. We had a great day as always and I do love the determination we put into making every shot different. Nice shot at your local at the end as well
Yes well we try, but not always easy at some places, but we did alright at this location.
Amazing shots and captures there Mike. Nice action and variety! Another gooden from you! You got to some nice quiet locations. Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing! Take care, have an awesome day and all the best! Jamie
Many thanks Jamie, sorry I'm a day late replying. Mike.
Nice footage at Appleford Mike. I wonder what was the hold up with 4O43? And a good bonus catching 6V06 at your local station. Well done and keep up the good work 👍
Yes indeed it was good to get that 6V06 working Arnold, I would think it was a loco failure with 4043, cheers Mike.
Great video as always Mike! 👍
Thank you ENC.
Nice video . I have never been to Appleford . Due to lack of trains that stop there otherwise i would of .
Yes I know what you mean, but I have in the past been there by train, thank you for your interest.
Excellent video Mike, the Oxford to Didcot line certainly gets a fair bit of freight!
Andrew I think I would rather film that line than the WCML these days, maybe I'm saying that because of the Felixstowe situation which is now over, ATB Mike.
Nice Vid Mike
Them Class 70’s seem to get you more interested in them with their sound !
Good catch with the double headed sheds too 👍
Oh yes Paul I do like to see and film class 70, infact I think my next video mostly is class 70s, take care Mike.
@@antman09ful1 look forward to it 👍
Not a bad spot. Good workings.
Cheers David for watching, the weather was good too. ATB Mike.
