What a wonderful surprise the third piece was! ["Deh, vieni alla finestra" at 07:02] I have never heard it performed with such joy and energy! Give a lot of credit to the plucked string accompanist too --- his eyes were glued to Bjørn Mathias from start to finish, and you can see him making small adjustments to his playing. The two of them were very comfortable performing together, as if they had been doing this forever --- they made a great team! The optics were memorable too: one of them wearing jeans, an untucked shirt and a huge floppy hat, and the other dressed to meet the King of England! I loved it! 🤣
Thank you so much. ❤ This was actually a charity performance in December one year ago or so, performing on a local Christmas party for people who struggles in the society, to give them a positive experience in an otherwise hard life, and show them that we care. The two boys have played and performed together for quite some time now, and they just love it, as you can see. Singing for the King of England is on the bucket list for sure, not quite there yet, although he did sing for the Norwegian King a few years ago, guess that's a start at least. One king at the time... 🤣
