I have severely receding gums and the pain associated with this. I recently started asking God to heal my gums. I am so excited to see what would happen at the dentist's office when they see my gums are healed. I imagine there will be shouts of praising God, if only from me, and everyone in the clinic will hear and this will help them be saved. I know I would love to be free of this pain but I almost feel that I want the glory to happen for God more. I truly want to pray for His glory. It's difficult to know if I'm not being selfish though.
You’re not being selfish… I was in agony and diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.. they told me I would be in a wheelchair by the time I was 40.. ( I was 32 at the time) and it was a blood test that was off the charts! We prayed with a few people and I started having less symptoms, and then none! It was almost scary! So I went back to the doctor who diagnosed me, and he ran the blood tests again and there was no evidence of ever having rheumatoid arthritis!! Later in the week, I talked to his nurse and she told me that he was running all over the office saying Praise the Lord!! Praise the Lord!! She said, you see he is a believer, but he didn’t believe in divine healing!!!!! Now he’s going wild with Joy!! You keep praying..🕊️
All I could think of was his sovereignty while listening. By his sovereignty, if it be of his will, what we ask according to his glory will be answered. Praise the LORD!

Im a young guy trying to find God! Ive been doing alot of reading and studying. I was surprised about how bad the Catholic church has misunderstood so much of the word. I told myself im not catholic im a christian because i believe in what christ did on the cross. I believe the Old and New Testaments. But 😟 one of my biggest worries has been misunderstanding scripture. So ive been looking up stuff, and fell into a rabbit hole. I realise everybody has a different opinion within the religion on what certain scripture and verses mean. Now im confused on how to pray and if im even supposed to include Jesus' actual name in any prayer. I need help, what do I do?
@@KingFishdomincluding Jesus name in the prayer or not is not the importance. Jesus taught his disciples the Lord’s Prayer. Didn’t include his name at end of it as again that is not the issue. The issue of prayer is coming to god and praying that his will be done not your own selfish desires and it has been twisted over time to say as long as we ask for things in Jesus name no matter how selfish then he would bless us still. How does that make sense if me and my neighbor are praying to both win the race we are competing with each other in. Wouldn’t make since nor add up. It’s not wrong to look at Bible critically and see if the teaching add up with words in Bible then if they make sense together. Sure the other way makes sense to a lot of people when it comes to prayer though they have purposely ignored the fallacy in that way of thinking. Similar to the thought of Jesus only being divine and not both the son of man and son of god equally. Some would rather believe things that feed into their notion of god rather than what is in scripture. And again a critical mind that understands quantum theory at the low end when it comes to different dimensional objects that a singular object can be made of multiple cubes for example that we can not perceive with our own eyes the same way Elohim, god, Yahweh can be multiple and equal yet distinct parts and still the divine god we know and love.

Name is in Hebrew 'Shem', so it means name, but it also means 'character'. So we have to be in His character and we have to be asking in His character.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17. The authority and the power are in the name of Jesus, which is the name above all names. As it pertains to asking for things, we have a right to ask anything of our Father, however, according to His will.
So awesome to see youth knowledgable in the Word,of God. The Lord has given such grace and gifts to the youth in these Last Days. “Where evil abounds, grace does much more abound”.

Great video. Very helpful. I would add that the consistent, Christian confusion around “in the name of,” comes not so much from confusion about God (although it can come from that), but confusion about English. “In the name of,” means “under the authority of.” When someone yells out, “Stop in the name of the law,” we don’t go, “Wait, what’s the law’s name? Bob? Joe?” It means under the authority of. We know that Jesus has the ABILITY to do anything, but he does not have the authority to. That’s why, when Satan tempted him with turning stones into bread or leaping from the pinnacle, he did not do these things, because he did not have the authority, and at that moment, in fact, he would have been acting under the authority of Satan. Humans, being corrupted as we are, may pray for items/outcomes that are not under Christ’s authority because they are not consistent with God’s love for us, which extends far beyond the minuscule boundaries that we are able to perceive.

@@_sonicfive this person literally made a point that they are not a new Christian. She specifically said that she is familiar with the Bible…. All I did was point out the obvious that if someone is a seasoned Christian they should know that there is only one King, Jesus. Have a good day.
More Grace brother, to add on dear saint is that we by spiritual birth are already in Christ thus the Name of the Lord being a strong tower where we are in and are safe. So in Christ we are in His Name and praying in His Name is praying in His will as He says in 1 John 5:14-15 and thus are confident that we have the petitions we desire of Him for this is according to God's Will and Mind and Language Who is Christ and thus He will do it and thus the Father will be glorified for then we Saints will bear much fruit, the much fruit of Gal 5:22 for we are one with the True Vine. More Grace upon you brother and may many be edified and Honor Christ in you for I see Christ Jesus our Lord in you brother. Amen.
Thank you for that. Jesus is God and I am so Glad for what he did at the Cross to Save a Wretch Like Me. The Fathers Grace is Amazing Indeed. Thank you for allowing him to work in you to present this message to Me this day.
AMEN. Verse 2 reads, "ye have not, because ye ask not", and this is taken out of context, because many stop there. A very famous celebrity had a "motivational talk" about this some time ago and the audience was clapping and cheering as he encouraged them to start asking God for "stuff". This is beyond sad. That's why Paul warned against itching ears. God bless!
We pray to God whose name is Jehovah, praying in the name of Jesus means although we are praying to Jehovah, we are offering the prayer in Jesus name which we close with because we approach God through Jesus as Jesus tells us that no one gets to the father except through him. We have to remember that Jesus acts not only is king of gods kingdom but as high priest reconciling us to God as in the case of the nation of Israel. Not to mention praying according to God‘s will which would require us to know God and what his will actually is.
I have enjoyed your videos immensely study have such value bc I actually learn something. I watch some videos of supposed bible studies and I only have an aggravated feeling bc it seems they aren't saying " look at Jesus" but rather " look at me". Thank you for not doing that. Your focus is on the word. And the word is God. Anyway, I along with several others have been praying (actually I have been begging) for the return of my grandson. I had him from about a month old till about 4. His father got a new girl friend, and she showed him how to do an ex parte against my daughter, and I can prove it was a spite thing against my daughter, but the child lived with me. She doesn't want the child, she wants to win. I went to court with evidence, the school made reports, etc, about him being mistreated and filthy, the home was filthy with dog poo in it, and the judge treated it like this is a father stepping up to do the right thing. If that were true he had 4 years to do it. He was taken from me. Court is over, therefore there's nothing I can do. This is not right. I don't understand how or why God would let it happen. Now that I've seen this video, then I now KNOW that what I'm praying for, the return of my grandson into a safe clean environment where he is loved, IS in line with God's character, it WOULD glorify God bc its an impossible thing for me to do. Thank you again. I'm sorry, this is so heavy on my heart that my physio heart is about to fail.
Oh dear sister. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you. Praying for you. May God strengthen you and reveal His plan for this to you in His time. I give you Romans 8:18. Stay strong, precious sister! His grace is sufficient. He's faithful, righteous, and just. Much love in Christ Celeste
I'm 67 , but God used a 12 yr old to bring me to a deeper understanding of " In His Name " ( that's embarrassing ). Always viewed 'in His Name' as on level with " open up , in the name of the law" , as though Christ was praying my prayer , or 'by Christ's authority". Had to listen to this a couple of times , so , to pray " In His Name" is seeking those things which are in line with God's character , values , His desires ... Thank you young man ( I know u'r not 12 , just sayin' ) .
Thank you. As I listen I remember answered & times when a definite no was given. As in praying for a loved ones life, health or the like. People died or they lived. God knows has seen the end from the beginning. God's will & purpose. Jesus talked about mustard seed faith & mountains being moved. I think about the words & the one being spoken to. The Holy Ghost is our comforter, & all this includes. Praying with all the faith & in the precious name of Jesus...it is the no matter what or when we trust in & on the One we ask. When (in Daniel 3:16-18) the Hebrew children we facing the furnace or bowing their answer is God is able, but even if God doesn't then I still believe. Sometimes I just think or have thought of wanting something & sooner or later there it is; this insignifacnt thing that won't glorify God, except to me, but my testimony does glorify God as does staying faithful no matter the yes or no answer; even unto death. It is the no matter the uncanny peace. The wonderful joy is still there though the momentary shaken, but not broken, trembling, but standing. Think of it many cried, screamed as lion tore them apart, the answer had to be no. We must realize there are just those moments, no matter what, the answer is just no. And we walk on in faith that our God is able. It is the resting in God no matter what. It is that God knows more than I do. We pray believing we already have it in Jesus name...remember the widow, the land, the judge, & the prophet? The woman finally did get the land back. It is absolutely amazing when God moves. Sometimes the answer just has to be no...no matter the faith & asking in Jesus name. We just trust God & stand. It is always God's loving deciding answer. We walk by faith.
2 things. 1 in greek, NAME doesn't just mean whatever your called. NAME means AUTHORITY. As in, i come "in the name" of king such n such. So "in my name" means "in my (or by my) authority. As in casting out demons in/by the name/authority of Jesus. Or like telling your sibling to do something because mom or dad said. You're invoking their authority, but only in a way that has been established for u to use it. 2, his name is The Word. Jesus/Yahoshua is the name (thing he is called) given to his flesh, the name UNDER heaven (on earth) by which we are saved. But his true name or heavenly name is "The Word", in revelation, when he comes back glorified its stated that his name is The Word. And to the point made in the video, your name is what u are, and he is the Word. The Word is the summation of who he is, and thus his Name is The Word.
i agree with most of what you post ....and that His Name or the name of Jesus has a way deeper meaning to it theres abround 250 references /names titles for Jesus in Scripture ie : The Word, The Lamb ,The Holy One of God, The Son of man, The Son of God, The Righteous One, The Chosen One, The King etc etc plus he will have a new name Rev 19 .....may i suggest or you might consider His 'Name' the character of Immanuel /Jesus/ The Word...is Faithful Truth and Righteous 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords. 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. yeah, im saying, that His actual name is His teachings and His Fathers Name is the way He done it !
Jesus didnt say pray to me . He said pray to the father through me . Pray to Jehovah God through jesus Jesus is the mediator between God and man . He meditates between the two parties At the end of a prayer we ask in Jesus name
I’m going to start to pray as it states in Matthew’s chapter 6 number 9 onwards My father in heaven Your kingdom come Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven Give me today my daily bread And forgive me of my debts As also I have forgiven my debtors Lead me not into temptation But deliver me from the evil one In my lord and saviours name Jesus yeshua Christ name of Nazareth amen I can’t give the right answer nor can any man in today’s time but the right answer is in the bible and in Matthew’s chapter 6 also explains how we should give to the needy, fast and be with treasures (items) on earth also why we shouldn’t worry. I’ve also been told to look into Matthew’s chapter 5.
You are close, but a few points need more looking into. One in particular is the word 'ask'. The Greek word it is translated from is aiteo. And if you will do a word study, aiteo means to 'demand what is due'. Now you have to wonder why Jesus would tell His disciples "demand" anything from the Father. But consider Mark 11 where He tells His disciples to speak to the mountain and tell it what to do. Not ask it from the Father. It also helps to understand that the phrase "in Jesus name" is more about our position in Jesus than our claim to power. He prepared a place for us... that place is one with the Father. We "Abide in Christ" one with the Father and demand what is due our Savior, so that He receives His full Inheritance and the Father is Glorified thru the Son!! Hallelujah!! What an awesome God!!
God bless this young man, Jesus gave him wisdom and understanding into the Scriptures. I’m glad I stumbled upon this, or did I?

@@_sonicfive this person literally made a point that they are not a new Christian. She specifically said that she is familiar with the Bible…. All I did was point out the obvious that if someone is a seasoned Christian they should know that there is only one King, Jesus. Have a good day.
@@coreybrackett9194 Jesus is King of kings 🤗
Very true the concordance confirms what you are saying name is character
I found your channel this morning. Awesome. Aways stay as your channel name says, " Above Reproach".

God bless & guide you all!
That is wisdom and good teaching
Wow , thank you!
Great lesson this,.. Thank you so much
More Grace brother, to add on dear saint is that we by spiritual birth are already in Christ thus the Name of the Lord being a strong tower where we are in and are safe.
Amen.
Colossians 3:17 (KJV) And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Amen!
Accurate brother, thank you.
Well said 👏 👍
GOD IS GREAT
Thank you for that. Jesus is God and I am so Glad for what he did at the Cross to Save a Wretch Like Me. The Fathers Grace is Amazing Indeed. Thank you for allowing him to work in you to present this message to Me this day.
Thank you for the true. ❤
If you are in the state of grace, or without sin, and done in humility and repentance, God promised to answer your prayer.
Hallelujah
PSALM:68:4 Sing unto Elohim sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name YAH, and rejoice before him.
Jesus said "do unto others as you would do unto them yourself" 🙏 amen
Good word
Mark 16:16 in Jesus name we will cast out demons and heal the sick
James 4:3 (KJV) Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.
God bless!
Correct young man
Perfect God
Amen 🙏
Yes amen
We pray to God whose name is Jehovah, praying in the name of Jesus means although we are praying to Jehovah, we are offering the prayer in Jesus name which we close with because we approach God through Jesus as Jesus tells us that no one gets to the father except through him.
We have to remember that Jesus acts not only is king of gods kingdom but as high priest reconciling us to God as in the case of the nation of Israel.
Not to mention praying according to God‘s will which would require us to know God and what his will actually is.
To have everlasting life you absolutely must trust in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
Much love in Christ
Celeste
I'm 67 , but God used a 12 yr old to bring me to a deeper understanding of " In His Name " ( that's embarrassing ). Always viewed 'in His Name' as on level with " open up , in the name of the law" , as though Christ was praying my prayer , or 'by Christ's authority". Had to listen to this a couple of times , so , to pray " In His Name" is seeking those things which are in line with God's character , values , His desires ... Thank you young man ( I know u'r not 12 , just sayin' ) .
Thank you. No where in Scripture does anyone say in Jesus Name in prayer
You can ask for anything you want in the name of Jesus. God always answers. You may not like the answer but there is one.
According to His will and authority.
Ok ok this is good u on point
The Word is the summation of who he is, and thus his Name is The Word.
i agree with most of what you post ....and that His Name or the name of Jesus has a way deeper meaning to it
theres abround 250 references /names titles for Jesus in Scripture ie : The Word, The Lamb ,The Holy One of God, The Son of man, The Son of God, The Righteous One, The Chosen One, The King etc etc plus he will have a new name Rev 19 .....may i suggest or you might consider His 'Name' the character of Immanuel /Jesus/ The Word...is Faithful Truth and Righteous
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
@@TheThreshermansson Amen. Good stuff.
Since the Father loves the son,he cannot deny Him anything.Belivers are in Christ ,they have been grafted into the the vine...they are one !..
Jesus didnt say pray to me . He said pray to the father through me . Pray to Jehovah God through jesus
Jesus is the mediator between God and man . He meditates between the two parties
At the end of a prayer we ask in Jesus name
I’m going to start to pray as it states in Matthew’s chapter 6 number 9 onwards
My father in heaven
Your kingdom come
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give me today my daily bread
And forgive me of my debts
As also I have forgiven my debtors
Lead me not into temptation
But deliver me from the evil one
In my lord and saviours name
Jesus yeshua Christ name of Nazareth amen
I can’t give the right answer nor can any man in today’s time but the right answer is in the bible and in Matthew’s chapter 6 also explains how we should give to the needy, fast and be with treasures (items) on earth also why we shouldn’t worry.
