I am thinking I would really like these in the winter. I believe it may help my winter blues and anxiety. Thank you so much for testing and reviewing them. It is a big help
The suggestion to microwave the sponges may be a game changer, including poking it with a skewer if they are hardened. I love those ideas. I will often soak the sponge before I put them in my Aerogarden, just because I am like that lol. Thanks again 😎
Hi Mike, so glad I found your channel by being nosey🤣. I was wondering who is this moderator 😊. I have 3aerogardeners, all bountys. I'm planning to get 2 more systems but have been researching for several months, narrowed it down to two or so I thought. Started seeds a few weeks ago and I noticed one system didn't have germinating 🤷🏽♀️. One has germinating on one side 🤔. I'm going to go back and watch your videos and see if I can figure this thing out. The other one I don't use for starting, I use that one for continuous in house growing my bok choy, love my bok choy.
Nosey is good..lol I just got a bounty for xmas I'm going to do a unboxing on soon.....I also have a harvest xl. What system wasnt germinating?..i could help diagnose the problem 😁
Great review but I definitely agree with the arm needing to be lower so you don't get leggy plants. Watching all your videos is really making me want to get into growing hydroponically especially in the winter when I can't grow outside.
I really hope they listen..many systems now have lights that go from 3 inches to 20 now..the big brands don't so it makes the ones that do better!...plus longer power cord and I've over the moon! You definitely should!..that's why I talk about systems so people can choose one that gives them amazing results!
@@mikeschaoticgardening can you recommend a cheaper one that I can start with for now. I have been looking but there are so many to choose from. I think I'm going to start with herbs.
@@featheredfriendshomestead 2 I like are zmhoo 8 pod and mufga 12 pod both sell on sale for 40..usually 50 somthing...both great buys under 60 dollars..have all the features I recommend
I have four of the black 10-pod inblooms. I like them even better than the Aerogarden Harvest slim and elite slim as well as the AG Bounty Basic models I own. I think black is supposed to be better to fight algae.
black shows it off less but i find about the same levels in my black or white systems...i own about 30 systems with about 10 different companies..i am so happy so many companies are making good systems now!
the inbloom light is really good..well spaced pods..deep deck..lots to love about it! my only two complaints are i love a telescopic bar to raise and lower it without the knob ...and a long power cord..thats it..two easily fixed issue with future systems!
@@EdReznek I use the Aerogarden nutrients, although, now that they’re out of business, I’ll have to find something else. Depends on what I’m growing. I usually alternate weeks with cal msg and nutrients. For tomatoes, which are heavier feeders, I do maybe every 8-10 days

I'm in Minnesota and in winter won't see the sun sometimes for weeks..I am a night owl so I need that greenery and light the hydroponic units provide!
@@mikeschaoticgardening That is so wonderful to know how it helps. I’m a night owl too. I have my days and nights mixed up most of the time.

Awesome Mike! Thanks for sharing. Mine are growing good except for the spinach. But i love watching how much they grow from day to day.
Hi Lisa!..Spinach is hard to germinate in these systems..I use paper towel method then put the sprout in the system 😀
@@mikeschaoticgardening cool thanks Mike
Can't wait for the updates. I was thinking about getting this one.
Yes I will put it to test!..it's a good unit..I just wish light bar was lower from start then raised high..and longer power cord...be great!
Loved the product review. Will look forward to the updates x
Thanks!..I will definitely put it to the test!
Sliding in with love and support to brighten your day the system works perfect thanks for demonstration blessings & ❤️ to you and family ❤️

There are a lot of moving parts to this system
It seems like a lot..but just boils down to something that holds the water..a pump to move the water vand a way to hold the plants and light 😁
