I used to play call of the wild years ago, and loved it. I ended up really getting into hunting & bought a farm. Haven’t picked the game up since, just because real life hunting & managing the farm for the deer is a 365 day per year hobby. But I can say that the games realism is definitely there.

The number in the top right of the spotting info is the animals class, class just determines what guns you can use on them and still get full score. Also that is awesome that you got a piebald man!

Blitz here is a little tip: try to use the right caliber for the animal class. For example the elk is a class 8 and u were using the 243 on it which is classes 2-6 which will not pass harvest check which ruins the trophy rating.
I use 7MM or .338 for Elk, Bison, Buffalo, Moose, Black Bears

ITS PAINFUL to see him shoot a 4 easy elk with the wrong caliber
Blitz, the river area that you circled at 0:50 is perfect for hunting black tail, whitetail, and moose in the morning. Get there at like 5 AM and just wait, the animals will come down to the river to drink and eat and then you can pick them off
I just wanted to share this somewhere but last night about 10 minutes before sundown I got my first deer. Admittedly it was very big and it was a doe, but still pretty exciting

I’m getting hunter call of the wild for Christmas and I watched ur videos and I feel confident about playing this game and I’ll do good thanks so much
Oh Blitz I actually did get a whitetail buck on October 31st first day of youth deer season and it was a 10 point or a 8 point it was I think 15 inches wide and back antlers were 5 inches tall two points were 5 inches and the rest were 3-4 inches tall so I’m very proud of my second buck

No. He's from the mid west. But with hunting seasons in PA, a lot of people end up just settling with the first legal deer at the end of the season just to fill the freezer.
This unfortunately lead to the saying" if it's brown it's down. " People will shoot anything they see especially on public land.

@@hinnmanfamily I would recommend it if you have a butcher nearby. My friends got a deer and brought it to the butcher, and I got some of the meat and it was really good. He also said it was fun, so as I personally have not gone hunting, it seems like something you might want to try if you get a chance.

Hey blits theres a place called roonaachwee thats a great white tail spot for them if you set it drinking time 12 if you want a lot more info animals you can look up anjmal zones and stuff on steam or on google and itll help you find good animals zones are theres a little lake kinda by the side of all the huge lakes you can check foe white tail its a hit or miss usually

Archery season right, I live in Pennsylvania too and I'm going on my first hunt with a rifle when rifle season comes

Wow a gamer that actually hunts. What caliber do you use? Here in Texas .223/5.56 is all you need for the little deer around here. I use a 6.5 Grendel AR personally.

A good way to secure field dressing is to use a portable electric fence. The lightest one out there weighs only 2.4 lbs and it’s powerful enough to deter a hungry griz. Just a suggestion

Blitz as a fellow hunter I will give you some tips on animals #1 if you hit the spine its a insta kill #2 if you continue to call an animal you can lead it till you get a good shot #3 if you upgrade your scoping binoculars it will give you more specific details like weight and level of the animal
And I love deer hunting so much and I’m gonna be hunting in a blind with my dad

Hey blitz just saying that elk at the start of the video would have been a nice gold if you used a weapon with ammo that can cover that class of animal such as the .270 or 7mm
