I’ve recently been born again as of Nov. 2018. I always believed in God and became a lukewarm Christian over time. I did shrooms, drank, but mostly smoked pot everyday. I look back and can’t believe how patient Jesus has been waiting for me (I’m 39). I have been saved by an angel or Jesus (not sure at the time) at least twice, but possibly 3 times.
A voice told me to let off the gas pedal when I was going through an intersection, as soon as I did, a truck blew a stop sign that would have killed me. I also fell asleep at the wheel another time and WOKE up while driving sitting upright and very much positioned like a robot. I ended up on the other side of town somehow! Fell into a pool’s deep end as a child, somehow my mother knew to check on me and pulled me out.
I had another experience where I was praying for a relative that was brutally murdered and burned alive years prior. I was HIT like a sledgehammer with unexplainable peace and joy. Instantly tears poured out of my eyes and I had the breath sucked out of me, totally winded. It was like I was experiencing the joy of heaven but my human body could not handle it! I also experienced an interaction with several demons in the basement of a psychic lady’s house who summoned them and spoke to them nightly. The fear and anger I felt as their eyes pierced my soul was like nothing of this earth......,over and over and over Jesus was calling me!!! I was too much of a fool to notice, even though I believed in Him!
In November of 2018, after a minor argument with my fiancée, I heard a demon’s voice talk to me telepathically in my mind- “I hate you, I’ll kill you and tear your family apart.” With the most conviction in my soul I commanded that thing to leave my house in the name of Jesus Christ. Every room in the house I yelled at it. I felt our Lord blast through my house and beat those things down! Whoosh gone! I prayed and thanked him and repented for allowing them to get close to me. He talked to me telepathically asking me questions and made me feel the guilt of my sins. Lots of information as a sort of psychic download into my heart and mind simultaneously. Question 1: “After all I’ve done for you, what have you done for Me, and others?” Question 2: “Am I NOT enough for you?” Then, the weight of my sins lifted, it was incredible.
Since that moment, I’ve had no desire to drink, smoke, blaspheme, masterbate, be angry, stressed out or sin at all. Wanting to share love with no other possible explanation. I notice the tiniest signs he puts in my path....I see them right away and chuckle, seeing He really does work in mysterious ways. I fully understand how to have a relationship with him and not need to physically see or hear our relationship. He is incredible people! Let him into your heart! I had felt in my soul the the extremes of joy and sorrow through just some of my life experiences..... Feeling the presence of God and Satan deep inside through strange encounters. For that, I am blessed to KNOW Christianity is the truth, yet I STILL tried to not fully commit.
He wants us all to repent and accept Him. He actually told me this! Don’t think you can sin all your life and God will be OK with it. He really will reward you if you follow with all your heart!! I did ayahuasca, and some other psychedelic plant "medicines" a few years ago. All I can say is that they definitley open you up to things you dont want in you're life.

Thank you Brother Andy your testimony is really uplifting it shows the living Jesus and the salvation from Yahweh God. Im so glad you mentioned about what is happening in the body of Christ all over the world. he. I am a Zambian living in South Africa. African churches is all about worshiping their GO's and their pastors, for pastors the greatest achievement is having hundreds of thousands of church members to pay tithe.
Let us go back to the command Jesus gave us to go out into the world ( the streets etc) and preach the gospel, make disciples . In fact i'm a 100% supporter in fellow-shipping in houses, i dont like those buildings most of them are just business houses. Shalom...you are indeed a carrier of Gods glory, continue with fulfilling the will of Yahweh God

HOW TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT
"Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?" (Ac. 19:2) This is an important question for all Christians. There is much controversy concerning the Holy Spirit today. Through the Word of God, we can know the truth.
If you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you have been born again and have become a child of God. You were cleansed by the blood of Jesus and became a new creature in Jesus Christ. What actually happened to you when you got saved?
In Ezekiel 36:26 we find the answer: "A new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you." You got a brand new spirit. The old spirit you had was removed, and you now have a new spirit.
What is this new spirit? It is the spirit of Jesus Christ. You received Christ as your Savior and you were given the same spirit He has. Is the spirit of Christ the Holy Spirit? This is a very important question because this will show you if you got the Holy Spirit at the time you were born again, or if you need to receive the Holy Spirit after you have been born again.
To answer this question, we must understand where the spirit of Christ proceeds from and where the Holy Spirit proceeds from. The spirit of Christ obviously proceeds from Jesus Christ. As Christians, we are now in Christ because we have His spirit.
The Holy Spirit does not proceed from Jesus, but proceeds from the Father. "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of Me." (Jn. 15:26) The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father, and the spirit of Christ comes from Jesus.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 shows this clearly. We saw verse 26 above where it said, "A new spirit will I put within you." Verse 27 then says, "And I will put My spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes." Notice verse 26 says "a new spirit," while verse 27 says "My spirit." It is talking about two different spirits.
When we get born again, we get "a new spirit," the spirit of Christ. Afterwards, the "My spirit" is put within us. The "My spirit" is the Holy Spirit, which is the promise of the Father, who is to indwell believers in Jesus to cause them to walk in His statutes.
We have seen thus far that there is a difference between the spirit of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. The spirit of Jesus Christ is what we receive at salvation, and then the Holy Spirit is to be received by believers subsequent to salvation. This is clearly seen in the New Testament.
At Ephesus, Paul found some believers and said to them, "Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?" (Ac. 19:2) These believers had not heard of the Holy Spirit. They were saved and needed to receive the Holy Spirit. So Paul laid his hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues, and prophesied. The word "received" used in Acts 19:2 is the Greek word lambano, which means to actively take hold of something to receive it. Thus, we see the Holy Spirit was actively received by believers subsequent to being saved.
Jesus taught this truth in the gospel of John. "But this spake He of the Spirit which they that believe on Him should receive [lambano]." (Jn. 7:39) Those who believe on Jesus should actively take hold of the Holy Spirit to dwell in them. In Acts, Peter said, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive [lambano] the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Ac. 2:38) Those who have repented, received Jesus, and have been baptized are saved. When saved, the Bible does not say that you have already received the gift of the Holy Spirit. Instead, it says that you shall actively take hold of the Holy Spirit to dwell in you. Again, we see that believers receive the Holy Spirit after salvation.
In Acts 8, Philip went up to Samaria and preached Christ to them. "But when they believed Philip preaching things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women." (Ac. 8:12) Philip's preaching was believed by the Samaritans, and they got saved and were baptized.
Had they received the Holy Spirit yet? No! This is clearly shown in verses 14-17. "Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the Word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John, who when they were come down, prayed for them that they might receive [lambano] the Holy Ghost; for as yet He was fallen upon none of them, only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then laid they their hands on them, and they received [lambano] the Holy Ghost." (Ac. 8:14-17) Here, we see Philip preached Christ to the Samaritans, and they believed and were saved. Then, Peter and John came down and prayed for them, and they received the Holy Spirit at a separate time. Clearly, the Holy Spirit is received subsequent to salvation.
Paul confirmed this truth when he wrote to the Ephesians, "In whom ye also trusted after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise which is the earnest of our inheritance 'til the redemption of the purchased possession." (Eph. 1:13-14) First, they trusted in the word of truth which was the good news that brought them salvation. Then after they believed, they were sealed with the Holy Spirit which was the first fruit of their inheritance as believers in Christ. Thus, the Holy Spirit is part of our inheritance as believers in Christ and is actively received following salvation.
Jesus further confirmed that the Holy Spirit is to be received by believers when He said, "How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him." (Lk. 11:13) Only believers in Christ have a relationship to God as their heavenly Father. Here, believers are instructed to ask their heavenly Father to give them the Holy Spirit. If believers already had the Holy Spirit, Jesus would not have instructed them to ask for it. The truth is that believers do not have the Holy Spirit until they receive it from the Father. Thus, believers ask the Father to give them the Holy Spirit.
We've seen that we get the spirit of Christ (a new spirit) when born again, and then we receive the Holy Spirit (My spirit) to indwell us. Have you received the Holy Spirit since you became a believer in Jesus Christ? If not, you can receive the Holy Spirit right now! As a believer in Christ, you can ask the Father to give you the Holy Spirit, and He will do it.
You don't have to tarry for the Holy Spirit as some have taught in error. The only time the disciples tarried or waited for the Holy Spirit was before He was poured out on the Day of Pentecost. They were tarrying in Jerusalem because that was the place where the Holy Spirit was initially going to be poured out. After the initial outpouring, there never is any mention of tarrying for the Holy Spirit because He had already come. Instead, believers received the Holy Spirit immediately through prayer or laying on of hands.
If you have not received the Holy Spirit since you became a believer, please pray the following prayer with your mouth, and you will receive Him now:
"Father, as a born again believer in Jesus Christ, I come to you to receive the Holy Spirit. Your Word says, "How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him." I ask you now in the name of Jesus to give me the Holy Spirit. I believe that I receive the Holy Spirit into me now. The Holy Spirit has now come to dwell in my spirit! Thank you, Father, for giving me the Holy Spirit! In Jesus' name, Amen."
Congratulations if you just prayed this prayer! The Holy Spirit has come to dwell in your spirit. Now that the Holy Spirit dwells in you, you have the ability to speak with unknown tongues. Speaking in tongues is your own prayer language. The Bible calls it "praying with your spirit." "For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful." (1 Cor. 14:14) This is not the gift of tongues. It is the prayer language in tongues which is prayed at your will.
To begin speaking in tongues, open your mouth and begin to speak out the sounds from the Holy Spirit within you. You speak in tongues at your will. So, don't wait for the Holy Spirit to bring the sounds out. You begin to speak them out with your faith. Praying in tongues enables you to pray effectively according to the Holy Spirit's direction.

HOW JESUS CAN HEAL YOU
"Jesus went about preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people." (Mt. 9:35) "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil." (Ac. 10:38) Sickness and disease are works of the devil. Jesus healed every sickness and disease freeing people from Satan's oppression. Jesus wants you to be healed.
God healed people in the Old Testament as well as in the New Testament. In Exodus, the Lord is revealed as Jehovah Rapha, "I am the Lord that healeth thee." (Ex. 15:26) In Psalms 103:3, He is One "who healeth all thy diseases." Jesus Christ is "the same yesterday, today, and forever." (Heb. 13:8) He will heal you!
Sickness came to man after the fall in the garden. Sickness is part of the curse because of sin. In Isaiah, the Bible says, "But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed." (Isa. 53:5) Jesus not only took our sins on the cross, but also our sicknesses.
By Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, we are legally free from sin and sickness. "Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." (1 Pet 2:24) Healing now belongs to all believers. It is our legal right because of what Jesus has already done for us in redemption.
Some may question if it is God's will to heal all. A leper once questioned His will, "saying, 'Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.' " Jesus answered him, " 'I will; be thou clean.' And immediately his leprosy was cleansed." (Mt. 8:2-3) Jesus showed His will by healing the leper. It is God's will for you to be healed. Just as Jesus said to the centurion concerning his servant, "I will come and heal him (Mt. 8:7)," He says the same to you: "I will come and heal you."
Since the devil causes sickness, we must take authority over the devil in order to be healed. Jesus has given us authority over Satan. "Behold, I give unto you authority . . . over all the power of the enemy." (Lk. 10:19) The authority of Jesus is released when we speak in the name of Jesus. At the gate of the temple, Peter said to the lame man, "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." (Ac. 3:6) In testifying how the man was healed, Peter said, "His name through faith in His name hath made this man strong." (Ac. 3:16) In Mark 16:17-18, Jesus said, "These signs shall follow them that believe: in my name shall they cast out devils; . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." We take authority over the devil and minister healing in the name of Jesus. Healing is your legal right, and you can possess it by taking authority over the sickness from Satan in the name of Jesus.
Healing is ministered in many ways. One way is to "lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." (Mk. 16:18) Jesus touched the hand of Peter's wife's mother and the fever left her. (Mt. 8:15) Paul laid his hands on the father of Publius and healed him. (Ac. 28:8)
Healing is also released through anointing with oil. The twelve disciples "anointed with oil many that were sick and healed them." (Mk. 6:13) Those that are sick are instructed to "call for the elders of the church and have them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and, the prayer of faith shall save (heal) the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." (Jas. 5:14-15)
Healing is often manifested when one casts demon spirits out of a person. "And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake." (Lk. 11:14)
Sometimes, the demon spirit of infirmity must be dealt with before any healing is to be ministered. "And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bowed together and couldn't lift herself up. . . . [Jesus] said unto her, 'Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.' And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God." (Lk. 13:11-13) Many diseases are rooted in demon spirits which must be cast out.
Often, demon spirits of infirmity are in us as a result of inherited generational curses. In Numbers, the Bible says, "The iniquity of the fathers is visited upon the children unto the third and fourth generation." (Nu. 14:18) Because of the sins of your ancestors, inherited curses enforced by demonic spirits of infirmity could be upon you. The generational curses must be broken and the demons cast out before the healing can come forth.
Healing can also be taken hold of by speaking or praying the Word of God. "He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction." (Ps. 107:20) "Speak the Word only, and my servant shall be healed." (Mt. 8:8) "When ye pray, believe that ye receive [literal Greek word: lambano, meaning to take hold of] them, and ye shall have them." (Mk. 11:24) "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain [lambano, to take hold of] mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Heb. 4:16) Act on the Word of God and take hold of the healing power of God through one of these means. God's healing power will flow into your body.
When receiving healing, the results sometimes come immediately. Often, they come over time. Healing can be a little by little process. Don't allow yourself to waver as the healing will surely come. Keep taking hold of the healing power of God until the manifestation comes.
"And He took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put His hands upon him, He asked if he saw anything. And he looked up and said, I see men as trees walking. After that He put His hands again upon his eyes and made him look up, and he was restored and saw every man clearly." (Mk. 8:23-25) Here, Jesus ministered to the blind man, and there was a partial healing, as he saw men as trees. Jesus then ministered to him a second time, and he was totally healed and saw clearly. Jesus ministered healing until the healing was complete. We also are to continue to take hold of our healing and to pray without ceasing until the healing is manifest.
Sickness is from the devil. Jesus is the Healer. By His stripes on the cross, your sickness was laid upon Him. Jesus bore away your sickness and disease and redeemed you from the authority of Satan. Healing is now your legal right as a Christian. With your faith, you can take hold of healing.
It is now time to minister healing to you. "As He was teaching, the power of the Lord was present to heal them." (Lk. 5:17) As you have been taught about how to be healed, the power of the Lord is present to heal you! Jesus asked one man, "What do you want Me to do for you?" (Lk. 18:41) What do you need for the Lord to do for you? As you declare your need before Him, begin to take hold of His mercy of healing. Believe that His healing power is flowing into your body. "According to your faith, be it unto you." (Mk. 9:29) Jesus will never fail you. He will heal you as you take hold of His healing mercy with your faith. Come and take hold of your healing now!
Pray this prayer of faith to receive healing into your body:
"Heavenly Father, your Word declares that Jesus took my infirmities and bare away my sicknesses, and that by His stripes I was healed. It is your will to heal me, and it is my legal right to possess it. I take authority over all sickness and disease in my body in the name of the Lord Jesus. I break all inherited generational curses of infirmities, and I command spirits of infirmity to come out of me now in the name of Jesus. Sickness and disease, leave my body in the name of Jesus. I come boldly unto the throne of grace, and I take hold of your healing power. I thank you that your healing power is flowing into my body, healing me now! In Jesus' name, Amen."
By praying this prayer, you have released your faith, and healing is flowing into your body. Continue to pray this prayer until the healing is completely manifested. Don't waver or doubt.

HEALING, DELIVERANCE, &
COUNSELING CENTER
"And these signs shall follow them that believe: in My name shall they cast out demons, . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mk. 16:17a,18b) In 1980 when the Lord called Pastor Middleton to go to Columbus, Ohio, and pioneer a church, He also gave him a vision of a daily ministry center to meet the needs of people. After several years of training by the Lord, the vision became a reality in January of 1987 when the Healing, Deliverance, and Counseling Center was opened.
The purpose of the ministry center is to minister effectively to people in order to see their needs be met. To see this occur, we must minister in the same way as Jesus ministered to people. When we look closely at the ministry of Jesus on earth, we see Him preaching the gospel of the kingdom, casting out demons, and healing the sick and oppressed everywhere He went. In fact, he did this continuously both publicly among the multitudes and in the synagogues throughout all of Galilee.
Therefore, we follow Jesus as our example and minister to people in the same way as Jesus did. The Lord has taught us to do things His way and not to do our own programs.
We preach the gospel and counsel people with the uncompromised Word of God. The Word of God gives us instruction on how to live victoriously in all areas of life. It brings correction to get us back on the right path. As believers submit to the Word of God and do it, their life is changed, and God's ways are established in their life.
We also cast out demonic spirits influencing their life and minster healing to the soul and the body. These demonic spirits are present in all of us primarily through inherited generational curses from the iniquities of our forefathers, through occurrences during childhood, or through our own personal sins in our lifetime. As the iniquity curses are broken and the demon spirits are cast out, the spiritual root causes of problems in our life are eliminated. As we minister healing, the power of God brings restoration in our soul and body. Through deliverance and healing, the Lord can change all areas of an individual's life. As we cast out demons and minister healing, believers are set free with the ultimate goal that they may serve the Lord effectively and do the works of Jesus.
Pastor Middleton does all the counseling and personally ministers to each person in the Healing, Deliverance, and Counseling Center. To receive counseling or personal ministry, each person must first make an appointment with the pastor. During the initial appointment, the pastor counsels the individual in the Word and explains healing and deliverance in depth, discussing their specific areas of need for ministry. This includes how we minister to the individual and how to stay free after ministry.
Following the appointment, the pastor will begin to minister healing and deliverance to the individual in all areas of his life. After the appointment, availability is made for continual ministry on a regular basis until the person is healed, delivered, and totally free. As the believer receives personal ministry, he is trained how to minister to himself and to others as well.
There is no cost to the individual for this ministry. All personal ministry is free. Jesus said, "Freely ye have received; freely give." (Mt. 10:8) Thus, we never charge any fees for any counseling or personal ministry.
Since the opening of the center, we have seen the Lord work many miracles through healing and deliverance in hundreds of believers' lives. We have seen fourteen people healed of cancer as well as healings of tumors, growths, cysts, diabetes, high blood pressure, allergies, asthma, heart problems, neck and back pain, hernias, deafness, arthritis, and various physical problems. We've seen others set free from addictive, compulsive habits such as nicotine, alcohol, drug addiction, and gluttony. Others have been freed of depression, anxiety, confusion, forgetfulness, fears, insecurities, rejection, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, and hurts and wounds, as well as other social, mental, emotional, or financial bondages.

FREE FROM A LEARNING DISABILITY
A grandmother brought her granddaughter to us several years ago. She had a learning problem and had flunked two different grades in school. We cast out spirits causing the learning disability, and the girl was set free. The girl began to improve in her school work and passed that year. She did above average work with good grades the following year. The Lord set her free from being learning disabled!
DRUG ADDICT FREED
A woman who was a crack and cocaine addict came to us. She had left her family and lost almost everything. We cast out the drug addiction spirits and the Lord set her free. We later got the report that the woman was reunited with her family, had gotten a job, and was serving the Lord. Jesus sets us free so we can live a productive life.
FREE FROM SEIZURES
A boy had seizures since infancy. He got the seizures from inheritance as his mother and grandmother both had seizures. We cast many demons out of him that caused the seizures, and he was set free. He has not had a seizure in nearly three years. Jesus set him free!
HEALED OF BODY PAINS
We regularly see the Lord heal people of all sorts of pains. The most common ones are neck, back, headache, and joint pains. We recently ministered to a woman who had back pain for fifteen years and could not bend over and touch her toes. We cast out the spirits causing the pain and laid hands on her back, and she was totally healed. She could bend over, touch her toes, and had full movement with no pain! The Lord will heal you of any pain!
In September, 2007 a man who had pains all over his body for 27 years was healed of all of the pains by the Lord when the evil spirits were cast out. At the same tme, a woman who had pains for 25 years in her feet and could not stand for very long was healed when the evil spirits were cast out.
MAN FREE FROM LOSS OF PROSPERITY
We ministered to a man who had problems involving financial prosperity in his life. The man had been passed over for a promotion at his work. He had seniority with a good work record and should have gotten the promotion. We cast out poverty and loss of prosperity spirits hindering the promotion. In a short time, he got the promotion. This was truly a work of the Lord because his company had a hiring and wage freeze on at the time of his promotion. God brought forth his promotion when the spiritual hindrance was eliminated. The Lord will set you free from poverty and loss of prosperity in your life also!
FREE FROM GLUTTONY
We have seen many people set free from gluttony. The problem is not just their eating habits. Demonic spirits can also be causing gluttony. Many times the spirits are there from inheritance. Other times, spirits which cause you to overeat come in from emotional problems. Many eat when depressed, when upset, when nervous, et cetera. In order to see freedom, you must have good eating habits, deal with emotional problems, and cast out spirits associated with gluttony. Many have seen freedom and lost weight and kept it off.
HEALED OF BLINDNESS
A woman in Tembisa, Johannesburg in South Africa who was blind from birth was healed when the inherited blind spirits were cast out of her. Her grandfather had also been blind and this was an inherited generational curse which was broken when the inherited blind spirits were cast out.
Another woman in a village outside of Obuasi, Ghana was healed from blindness when the demons were cast out of her.
HEALED OF DUMBNESS
A boy in Bujumbura Rural in Burundi was healed of dumbness from birth after the dumb spirits were cast out of him. The pastor had the boy speaking into a microphone to show all of the congregation what the Lord had done through casting out the dumb spirits. There was great rejoicing in that church and hundreds of believers were healed as demons were cast out of them.
HEALED OF DEAFNESS & DUMBNESS
A young girl was healed of deafness and dumbness after the deaf and dumb spirits were cast out of her in Lagos, Nigeria. As the spirits were cast out, suddenly sounds began to come out of her mouth as the dumbness was gone first. As deaf spirits were continually cast out, she was able to hear a pastor clapping his hands behind her as she repeated the same number of claps each time he clapped.

JESUS, OUR SAVIOR
"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (Jn. 3:16-17) God loves you unconditionally. God wants to be your Heavenly Father and for you to be His child. "God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Ro. 5:8)
"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Ro. 3:23) "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Ro. 6:23) There is only one sin that separates you from God, and that sin is not believing on Jesus as your Savior. (Jn. 16:9 - "Of sin, because they believe not on me.") Have you accepted Jesus as your personal Savior?
Jesus said, "Ye must be born again," in Jn. 3:7. "Born again" literally means to be born from above. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh." (Jn. 3:6) This speaks of physical birth which we all have experienced. "That which is born of the spirit is spirit." (Jn. 3:6) This speaks of spiritual birth which we have not experienced until we are born from above by God. This "born from above by God" experience is the spiritual birth which Jesus speaks of. We experience this spiritual birth when we receive Jesus as our Savior.
Thus, we are born physically at natural birth and spiritually from above when we receive Jesus as our Savior. When we receive Jesus as Savior, we get a new spirit from God that is in rightstanding with Him. We then have a personal relationship with God as our Heavenly Father, and we are His child. Have you accepted Jesus as your personal Savior?
"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the sons of God." (Jn. 1:12) Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me," in Jn. 14:6. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man, Christ Jesus." (1 Ti. 2:5) Jesus said, "Him that cometh to Me, I will in no wise cast out." (Jn. 6:37) "If you shall say with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord, and if you shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Ro. 10:9)
Do you believe that Jesus Christ has been raised from the dead? Do you believe that Jesus is alive today? If so, you can experience salvation right now! If you will receive Jesus as your personal Savior and say with your mouth that He is your Lord, you will be saved and be right with God. You will have eternal life! All of your sins will have been washed away! You will experience the spiritual birth Jesus spoke of.
Many think that they do not need to receive Jesus as their Savior because they have been a good person. Ro. 3:10 says, "There is none that does good, no, not one." Others think that they will go to heaven because they have done good works. Ephesians 2:8-9 states, "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast."
Some say, I'm right with God because I joined my church. By joining a church, you belong to an organization. That does not mean that you have a relationship with God as your Father or that Jesus is your Savior. All of us must receive Jesus personally as our Savior, and not just join a church. Others think that being baptized means that they are a Christian. In the New Testament, when one was baptized with water, it always followed believing on the Lord as your Savior. Baptism as an infant does not bring salvation. You receive Jesus first as your Savior and then get baptized.
Many say, "I know I need to receive Jesus as my Savior, but I'm not ready yet. I like to party; I have plenty; I don't need God at this time." The Bible says, "Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Cor. 6:2) "For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul, or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Mt. 16:26) "I will say to my soul, 'Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take your ease and eat, drink, and be merry.' " But God said unto him, "Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee, and then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided?" (Lk. 12:20)
Others say, a loving God surely would not let me go to hell, but in Luke 13:3, the Bible says, "Except ye repent, you shall perish," and 2 Peter 2:4,9 says, "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell . . . reserved unto judgment; I turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes . . . an example unto those that after should live ungodly, the Lord knoweth how . . . to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished."
Some say, God won't receive me since I have been a bad person and done many bad things. That is a lie, as John 6:37 says, "Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out." If you have backslidden away from the Lord, God will receive you as the father received the prodigal son. "I will arise and go to my father and will say unto him, "Father, I have sinned before thee and against heaven and am no more worthy to be called thy son.' "(Lk. 15;18-19) God the Father will forgive you of all your sins and receive you again. "For this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found." In 1 John 1:9, the Bible says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." If you think it is too late for you, 2 Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is longsuffering and not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Some say, I do not believe there is a God. "The fool hath said in his heart, 'There is no God.' " (Ps. 14:1) Others say, "I don't believe in the Bible." "All scripture is given by inspiration of God." (2 Ti. 3:16) "Thy word is truth." (Jn. 17:17) History has verified its accuracy through the fulfillment of events and prophecies recorded in the Bible. Others see the failings of Christian leaders and think of Christians as hypocrites. Don't allow others' failings to hinder you from receiving Jesus as your Savior. Jesus will never fail you. Don't let any of these attitudes sway you away from Jesus.
Jesus went to the cross for you. His blood was shed for the remission of your sins. Jesus paid a price for you! He gave His life to redeem you from Satan's authority! Jesus came to set you free and give you eternal life! Will you accept Jesus as your personal Savior now?

"God, I come to you now to receive Jesus as my Savior. I truly believe that Jesus has been raised from the dead and is alive now. I say with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. I receive Jesus as my personal Savior. I am now born again and right with God! Father, I am now your Child! Thank you for saving me and giving me eternal life! Amen."
