- Join me into a short walk around one of the trails in Bako National Park, in Malaysian Borneo.
Here we will discover some of the most common species of lowland tropical pitcher plants, also known as Nepenthes, along with their natural habitats and beautiful landscapes.
This small series is dedicated to all carnivorous plants enthusiasts and passionate growers, especially those who are not able to travel to see these beautiful plants in the wild.
My goal is to share this fantastic experience with you and let you immerse yourself into this incredible Nature. I hope you will enjoy!

Thoroughly enjoyed this documentary! You’ve got all the Nepenthes names down like a pro. It's like a nature lesson wrapped in a great adventure. Well done!
Amazingg work!! Looking forward to more Nepenthes documentaries!
Thank you so much! I am already working on the next episodes 😉
@@leonardogrillo88 Exciting! I would really enjoy some focus on some special plants in the videos, it sometimes felt a bit short, but I love the cinematography.
@@acousticanimal5514 I agree, unfortunately I still need to learn how to plan in advance..often I end up with less shots that I thought I had. I will have to work with what I have! 😅
Hello we are local students from the sabah area, Sabah institute of art. For the sake of assignment/competition of KKIF PINK10 FILMMAKERS, we would like to ask for your permission and include your video into our project.
We are eagerly awaiting your response. Thank you very much!🙏
Amazing document! I love nepenthes :) Can i ask what type of lens are you using?
Thank you! I am using mostly my Fuji 18-55mm and 55-200mm :)
@@leonardogrillo88 I thought you shot this video on Fujifilm too and it surprised me.I have an X-T4 and I can't make a nice video like this without shaking. Then I noticed in your description that you shoot on a Dji action :D I have the 18-55 too and it's a great lens, I use it almost all the time. Beautiful videos, looking forward to more! :)
nice to meet you.
Thank you for the wonderful video.
I will visit Bako in January to observe Nepenthes.
How many days did you stay to shoot this amazing video?
