Special thanks to Femboy Films for scanning this film!

Scanned from a 16mm IB Technicolor print of the film.
Also I can't be the only one that thinks those dove designs look so ugly.
Thanks much for sharing this scan; it's quite a bit more complete overall than the Garage Sale print and, of course, far better in picture fidelity than the latter transfer.
Peace and love, man! A Columbia cartoon that's actually good, you don't get that very often.
Another clever and imaginative cartoon from Sid & Artie, says one of the writers of the infamous 1981 "Scrappyland" article.
This is first Columbia cartoon to use ricochet sound effect that also used in Chuck Jones Tom & Jerry cartoons, Famous Studios cartoons and others.
Looney Tunes, Merrie Melodies, Disney, Lantz
It’s interesting viewing this in hindsight of WWII, given how it reflects the anti-war sentiment in the USA at the time - before the camel’s back was broken by the straw that was Pearl Harbor.
Nothing better than watching old cartoons at 2AM.
EDIT: I hate this comment, it's so fucking vanilla
It's literally 2am here, same!

I thought doves were suppose to be peaceful.
The Epic battle
I totally have a 16mm print of this myself and have always found it darkly funny. The "Squadron" always made me laugh and also where they put the rocket
This was one of the cartoons that it was shown on “Totally Tooned In”, but I’m not sure that the series is on TH-cam.
