Scanned and Color Corrected by Kineko Video One of the selected Krazy Kat cartoons to be colorized by Fred Ladd's Color System Inc and International Arts Production in South Korea in the 70's with a new soundtrack as well. The magnetic sound is muffled in some parts so there's not much I could do for that unfortunately.

Request: Snooze Reel (1951) [16mm Film Scan]
I'm getting serious Deja vu because of the reused animation in this cartoon.
Thanks for sharing!

What a fantastic scan. Looks great and a fun watch. Thanks for sharing.
The animation looks so smooth, it almost looks like a parody of classic cartoons.
Beans, one of the Boston beans!
Very ambitious, shades of Fleischer gag "surrealism". Imagine professional equipment and a good budget plus orchestra used by people who are still learning to stage, animate, and tell a coherent story. God Bless this Film. The single solitary reason this one is ever mentioned is because it contains the first and last animation by Albert Uderzo (ASTERISK), He was so appalled by the results he gave it up!

some people talk about the Mintz cartoons not being that funny..well this one is pretty darn funny!! One of the funnier Krazy cartoons I've seen
Un dessin animé 100 % français 😃
Thanks for Sharing!!
Yikes! That’s a lot of splices in this print! But given the rarity of this cartoon, I’m grateful that you scanned that one.
This is a big win for the British animation community!
It's kinda crazy how much of the soul and snappyness of the original animation the korean studio destroyed. Still very important preservational effort to scan this.
Τhat was actually a pretty neat cartoon! Something like if the late 30s Fleischers got 40s Rod Scribner.
The truth is that the explorer looks like a Tezuka character specifically like Shunsaku Ban.
thanx

So that is the song that Uncle Fester covered.
Was it in color?
Brianna Shead and Brianna Shead Jr
What is the song name 😮
Weird how the mom rejects the "ugly" dino because he's the same color she is.
I couldn't make it through this movie as a kid. The blizzard scene was too harrowing, and, even at that age, I felt too sad for poor Bert, and I legitimately thought he had run off into the snow to commit suicide by exposure.
Porky was the first known character because of the stuttering but they should’ve done more shorts with the other characters as school kids because to me they’re underrated. Oliver Owl’s snobbery and arrogance could’ve opened more doors in shorts especially with Porky Pig in particular. In the comics Oliver Owl was friends with Henery Hawk so Henery Hawk and Oliver Owl should’ve been in a short together with Foghorn Leghorn.
Never seen this before! Great cartoon! Did Mel Blanc work for every studio?
Not every studio. There was Fleischer/Famous Studios and Terrytoons.
Woody Woodpecker for the first 2 seconds
Cute cartoon
isn't that the toby the pup song?
Yes, yes it is. Joe de Nat, who composed the Toby the Pup theme, started composing for Columbia after RKO/Winkler stopped producing Toby the Pup cartoons. de Nat continued to work for Columbia until he was replaced with Paul Worth and Eddie Kilfeather. A handful of 1939-1941 Columbia cartoons had this same theme.
Is there a reason why the colors are so dark? Is that just how the colors are in this special
@@d-manthecaptain1382 Because it's just the raw scan itself. Just kept it the way it was.
