I LOVED The Donnelly arc, he wasn't corrupt like Snow or the Government, nor did he have an ulterior motive. He just wanted to stop a man taking vigilante justice which, in the yes of the law, is technically what the team was doing. He wasn't corrupt or evil he was just doing his duty, or as Elias would have said "All just pieces on a chess board"
Donnelly wasn't a bad guy. Unlike Snow, he really believed the stuff he was saying about Reese. He was just misinformed. Harold DID try to warn him but there wasn't enough time.
For me this was the most shocking scene so far. Donolly was a really good guy. He didn't know what John was doing but his heart was at the right place.
Actings are so good. I was gonna write many things but I didn't want to give any spoilers :D We're in the middle of season 4 now but my favorites are season 1 and 2.
It seems to me agent Donnelly was attracted to Carter he seemed to have feelings for her beyond just their job. It also seems from this scene Carter is indicating she and Reese are beyond just friends they are something more.
Wish you could have show Reese's release from prison and music from The Who. This is just a terrific show. My favorite shows used to be Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Dexter. Those shows are great in their own right, but POI is in a category all its own. Would love to see Reese kick the crap out of Gus Fring's goons and bust up Walter's and Jesse's meth lab. Lol.
Always felt bad for Donnelly. Like Carter in the first half of season 1, he was just doing his job. From the evidence he had, Reese was dangerous, and needed to be stopped. Sad Stanton had to kill him.
I love you! Been waiting for any of these scenes for ages. Thankyou so much for posting - you're the best. Brilliant scene, hope like the dickens Carter is okay. :)
Donnelly reminds me of an old saying "Just because they're out it get you, it doesn't mean you're not paranoid." He was correct that Reese was more than a simple vigilante, but he allowed himself to create a borderline delusional theory about a private intelligence agency, and alienated his colleagues with no proof beyond his own paranoia.
But he wasn't wrong. Finch and Reese act as a private intelligence agency, collecting a lead, gathering public and non-public information, sorting relevant from irrelevant information, and acting on that intelligence in pursuit of a goal. Donnelly probably assumed it was larger because just one or two people couldn't do all the things they do.
@@vmen5570 That's not Finch and Reese, that's the machine. It only gives them a number. Their own information gathering is about on the same level as a private detective, with phone cloning being the only time they go over the line.
Actually I believe Donnelly was referencing Decima when he was theorizing about the Chinese Intelligence and stuff. It's just bad luck both of those activities coincided with Kara who was out up get Reese
I kinda wish we could've seen Finch's reaction to the car wreck, if I was on the other end of that phone I would've been like ........ freaking the frik out!
l got a pet peeve with these tbone abductions. l can't see someone wanting to grab someone alive risking such violent crashes, usually overdne for effect imo, but that's just me
SOMETIMES YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BY CIRCUMSTANCES.. AND WELL YOU SCREAM RIGHT .. RIGHT.. SO.. IT WASN'T MY DONUT SPRINKLE.. NOW WAS IT.. WHAT DID i MISSPEL DONUT..?

when Finch called Donnelly and heard the SUV crash, he probably had no idea if anybody survived. Imagine how horrible that would have been.

He is portrayed as a dumb pattern-minded guy, and his main sin is disbelief.

Person of Interest is the best show on television right now hands down!
This show is Very well written. Thank-you.
I always wonder if Donnelly would have lived if Harold had learned he was in danger sooner
I believe he became an asset for the machine and then the machine vs samaritan will be easier further more maybe john and root didn't have to die
Especially carter
I love donnellys voice :)
Ok but SAME

@@addisonwelsh You often see Finch hacking personal records. Plus the Machine only gives them the number. They still have to do the investigation.

Man Carter showed geniune concern for a man you threw to the wolves in the yard at Rikers and caught a beatdown.
Two weeks never felt so long...
i feel so sad for donelly's death, he was a good man, feel bad when carter also betray his trust, he was just trying to do the right thing.
I kinda wish we could've seen Finch's reaction to the car wreck, if I was on the other end of that phone I would've been like ........ freaking the frik out!
Yea, It's a Cutpeice From The Theme "Listening With a Million Ears"
Thx for uploading this ! Bit dissapointed not to see Reese's release from prison but great job anyway
something tells me that if donelly wasn't on the call with harold that maybe he would've been able to see the truck coming.
Thx so match for uploading this ! It just would've been nice if this video started by reese's release from prison but great job anyway
