This was my first metallica show ever, it was incredible!! It was so cool to watch the wave start out as like 15 people and then turn into the entire stadium lol
I was there for my first metallica concert and I really wanted to hear creeping death and master of puppets and that's what they opened and closed with, fucking awesome 🤘
I was there that night too! My first ever metal and Metallica concert, I don’t think anything will ever be able to compare 🤘🏻 so grateful to have gone and experienced that. They played a few of my favorite songs too I was super satisfied with the set list!
@@rileyroo2381 I was pretty happy! Metallica has millions of fans there’s no way every single one of the thousands of people at the concert can be satisfied
I was there in the snake pit and it sounded incredible. Great show!!! Can't imagine going to a Metallica concert and not being as close to the stage as possible.
I’m a super fan and this was my first Metallica show ever! To say I was bawling my eyes out during the ecstasy of gold was an understatement. What a Badass show! Pantera was kickass, too!
This was my 4th Metallica show and it was amazing! The sound quality was great, these phone videos never do justice. I was sitting just below this view in 117. I didn't like paying the money at first but it was worth every penny. Pantera was sick too!
i was up in section 325 night 1, this was my first time seeing them live i.ve been a big fan of them since 1985 of the ripe old age of 10 greatest metal band of all time
@@ashavedyeti4452 ended up staying a bit longer while they were getting ready to leave. The crowd on the way out to the lots were at a stand still for at least 20 minutes. When we finally got to our cars we were moving a few inches maybe every ten minutes. We were probably there for at least another hour and a half.
I have been watching back and forth in my lifetime, I was at one of their shows in 1989 and the energy and vibe was very different, I know, time passes
Traffic was horrendous but that was to be expected, still way worse than expected. Leave early! We got there right at the beginning of Pantera's set but were nervous we wouldn't make it in time. Ended up parking on someone's lawn about a mile away for $40.00, (he could have charged much, much more.

I think they played all 12 songs. They wasted a lot of time doing solos and changing the drums around. They didn't play the classics. I had already seen them in 2014. For me, this one was horrible.
The drums in general are just louder than everything else, whether is through a phone mic or your ears. Just by virtue of their setup the sound isn't going to be great.
For a band that's been around for about 40 years. You'd think they would have a really good sound set up. Lars and James should have called Bob Weir about who does Dead and Companys sound set up.
@@jimbattista1120 its really just because of them plying in the middle of the stadium. You're getting sound from multiple sources at different distances plus the echo from across the stadium. It was also really loud which you feel more, but makes it sound less clear. Thankfully i was getting it direct from 2 line arays so it sounded fine, not perfect, but fine enough where i was. I still thought it was a great show.
@@ashavedyeti4452 like I said. 40 years. There is no excuse for this. I don't care where the stage is. The stage management was an epic failure If you can't see. You better at least be able to get good sound. I assume even at cost your tickets weren't cheap.
