I’m really happy for you Marshall. I myself was In colombia for a month and I have to say I miss it more than anything. The last place I visited was Cali, Colombia and also experienced some of the crazy but I wouldn’t change it for anything. I wake up sometimes crying from missing the life in Cali. I miss the papayas, coffee, avocados and beautiful people.. I left my heart in colombia but plan to go soon again.
@@rinarina9417 Great! Ironically, I’m from Colombia, from a city close to Cali (Armenia, coffee area, 3 hours away), but l also live here in LA, in Pasadena. I loved when we were teenagers and used to go to Cali once or twice a year to visit our family there. We had so much fun in the city… it would be so nice to go back there.
@@byrlink omg stop it we are practically neighbors here. I go to Pasadena all the time for some stater brothers. Honestly hopping to back this or next and think I will. I completely understand that feeling. I grew up the same way but going to Mexico every summer and some of my best memories. Visiting Armenia is also part of the plan have heard many great things. Honestly I fell in love with Cali it only took two weeks. I see myself going many times back now. Maybe we should meet up and trade stories. I do know some great places to eat in Pasadena.
@@rinarina9417 Wow, really? What a coincidence! You usually come to this Stater Brothers? That’s my closest supermarket! I just live 5 blocks north from it, in the corner of Allen Av. and New York Dr. Do you also live close by? It would be nice to hear from your trip to Colombia… My Instagram is @byrlink (Brian Young).
Yea it feels like things are back to normal, I'm out here in Medellin, currently in Bello but I went to el centro to take care of business and things seems like it's back to normal.
Seeing the Pereira airport brings so much joy to my heart, remembering seeing my dad and my step sister waiting for me outside. I hope you enjoy this round!
New follower my friend. I learned from you from Gran Colombia. Glad to be able to find you and connect with someone that can bring a different perspective of Colombia. Am a Puertorrican but moved to Tampa Bay Florida almost 30 years ago. Now married to a Caleña! I was able to discover my dream second home, Colombia. I love El Quindio (Pijao, Buenavista, Salento). We visited Bogota and next trip was to Medellin before the pandemic cancel any plans. Looking forward to travel through your videos and see more from my beautiful Colombia. Thanks for your hard work on putting some great content in your channel. Good luck and keep the good work.
Can hear it your voice how much you needed to get back to Colombia. Go where your heart leads you is how we feel too. Mahalo for the vid, Aloha Braddah
Your videos inspired me to travel to Colombia and live there for one year. I'm excited for your new videos! Yesterday I booked a flight to Medellín. Your videos hype me up ! :)
I really like the narrative video style y con subtitulos esta incluso mejor par apracticar el espanol tambien. Super happy you went back. Looking forward to more videos! Dale pue!
Great to see you back in Colombia Marshall, as for this vlog it was great...... Love this type of videography and the narrative, True storytelling at its best, Bien hecho hermano!!
Man so glad you are back down in Colombia...Was worried you were about to be MIA again. Can't wait for the fresh content. Stay safe man and have an awesome time!
Welcome back. I liked the narrative. Found it interesting and sincere. The music and past scenes went well with your explanation/reason of returning back to Colombia. Looking forward to your next video!
Your narrative blog is really cool. I enjoyed it. I am subscribing. Please do more of these videos. I am coming to Medellín for an internship in 2022. The wait seems to be getting long and long. So excited.
So nice to see you back in Colombia. Enjoyed some of your Mex content too. Been of the radar cos just started a new restaurant business so maad busy but always supporting my boy Marshall.
Glad to see you back in Colombia, I moved to Colombia (alcala small town near Armenia) for two years, saw your video of you teaching English awhile back and decided to do it as well I was teaching in Armenia. Going to be going back to Colombia in about 2 months. I’m thinking we are about the same age (I’m 27) maybe we can link up. Have fun and be safe brotha. Keep up the good content.
Hey, Marshall... Thank you for all you do... I was thinking about retiring to Pereira... You have definitely given me a "different perspective"... a "bird's eye" view of the city... Sorry for the shameless puns but I couldn't resist...but seriously thank you for a true insight to life in Pereira... Like the new mic. Safe travels
Hey Marshall that’s crazy I stayed in the same AirBnB yes it’s very noisy the good thing was it was close to el centro and airport but way too noisy and yea no hot water. By any chance have you checked out this restaurant called Picnic Las Camelias? I recommend it if you want to check it out there in Periera.
Marshall como va la baina parce! Good to see you're back where your heart ❤️ is telling you it is happy 😁😀 to be. Pa' adelante hermanito. Pa' tras ni para cojer impulso. Stay strong 💪🏻💯!
I am in Pereira too, but with my same-sex Colombian spouse. We almost took off for Uruguay, or Argentina when things got bad with the protests and violence. Things have stabilized to some extent now. I am waiting for my spouse to finish his training at the university before we try to decide where we are going longterm. If we were to stay in Colombia longterm, I lean toward living in Cartagena or Santa Marta. We are looking at the U.S.( U.S. Immigration is an absolute pain), Spain, Uruguay, Panama...
Wait... is that guy from the first Airbnb named Daniel? He rented to me when I was there. Cool spot super close to the mall and grocery store right across the street. Man, those cold showers... ufff! but I loved it nonetheless.
Even though it's none of my business I end up ranking the various non-Colombian vloggers about Colombia, mostly about how much they're really about Colombia rather than about themselves. (Nothing wrong with being about yourself, I should note, just that it doesn't interest me in a vlog about Colombia.). This is the first video of yours that I've seen and I am very glad that you're really about Colombia! Again, nothing against some of the others, some of them annoy me but that's my problem not theirs, but i really liked your attitude and approach.
Glad you are back in Colombia. I have to visit soon to meet the girl of my dreams. Jajaja just kidding! The culture is what I enjoy . Peace out brotha!…
I’m from Florida and I’m staying in Cali right now everything is great and tranquil. I’m staying in San Fernando close to Parque del perro . Are you back in Cali ? I’m solo man it would be great to find someone to venture out with bro
First of all i love your channel and your videos and just everything. I am actually from Germany and want to travel around South America and Middle America and I want to ask you what you do for living and how you can afford all of this . Have a nice day
Be careful if you become involved with Colombians as far as living together. Once you live together for a specific amount of time, Colombian law allows them a legal right to I think half your stuff. The legal system would consider you like married with rights to your assets, etc. I think the minimum time limit might be 2 years sharing a place together with someone in Colombia, but be aware of that and find out the facts.
Marshall i like your channel and have been watching it for a long time. One thing I’ve noticed about you is that you seem to be a very indecisive young man. You were indecisive at 24/25 and at 30 years old you are still indecisive. My concern is that you will be even more indecisive at 35. Get it together. Learn to make a decision and stick with it.
JB, I agree completely. I am indecisive, and very emotionally driven. It's how I've always been, and wouldn't be surprised if it's how I'll always be. Those were the cards I was dealt, and I fully embrace my personality of making decisions and changing directions on a whim. I don't see any benefit in forcing myself to stick with a decision just for the sake of sticking with it. It's my life that I enjoy very much, and I'll always do what my gut tells me to. If that's not something that works for you as a viewer, I encourage you to find TH-camrs who are more consistent in their direction.
Thanks for tuning in, I'm excited to get some videos out. What do you think of this narrative-style vlog?
