    I live in Santa Rosa it's a beautiful little city 12 miles from Pereiar in my neighborhood there are no Americans which is good. Great people inexpensive. I have a three bedroom two bath apartment extremely nice I paid $200 a month My TV internet gas water lights about $75.
    The key to living in another country is this. When I'm in Columbia I am Colombian when I'm in Italy I am Italian. Growing coffee here send it to my son at the farm in America to sell at the farm stand. Slowpace no drama no man shootings fantastic neighbors life is good.

    Great Video! I didn't know Pereira had Cable Cars like Cali and Medellin. Hope to be there this coming June! Keep on making the videos. I think once your channel hits 1,000 subscribers it will take off like never before. Thanks!

      Welcome to the channel!!! This is the reason we started the channel. So people like you could get a glimpse in Colombia.
      The earthquakes 😂. Been through 3 since we got here. 2 of them I didn’t realize they happened until someone told us about it.
      It’s like riding the subway in New York.

      I have a three bedroom two bath apartment just outside in a little town called Santa Rosa you can look it up. First week I was sure we had an earthquake I'm from San Francisco so I know about earthquakes there wasn't a single crack in my building. You can get correctly built apartment like mine for $200 a month. The other advantage the Santa Rosa I can go in a cab from my house into Central Santa Rosa for$1.25 no crime no mass shootings.

      Bogota 9 million people like living in New York I wouldn't advise it. Medellin 2.5 million people if you stay out of there areas where Americans live reasonable pricing beautiful city. If you can handle living as a Colombian I suggest two neighborhoods San Diego or Santa Monica stay out of the gringo areas it'll cost you way too much from nothing more than you can get in the first two areas I told you about.

    What is the temperature and climate like in Pereira? Is it cool with low humidity like Cuenca Ecuador and Arequipa Peru?

    • @kidgotyourticket5474
      @kidgotyourticket5474  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's mostly spring like weather year round.

    I live in Santa Rosa 12 mi away low temperatures 60 degrees heat no more than 80°you do have a fair amount of rain. Like Medellin it's primavera with a little more rain. Much cheaper than many where I live for a couple years again in a neighborhood not occupied by Americans.

    How are the weather (humidity ) and air pollution levels compared to Medellin, which has a lot of both?? How are the best neighborhood? Los Alamos?

    • @kidgotyourticket5474
      @kidgotyourticket5474  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Dov! Humidity should be about the same in Medellin as in Pereira. Yet, Last time we were there it seemed a lot hotter and couldn't wait to get back to Pereira. We love the weather here.
      Stay tuned as we're planning on doing a video on the neighborhoods here in Pereira. Not the bad ones but the ones where expat families might want to live.
      Thanks for watching!

      @@kidgotyourticket5474 My understanding was that Medellin had high humidity and air pollution. But Pereira was much milder and has clean air.

      Hi and thanks for the comment. I've heard of some special visas people get that allows them to purchase a home. Not really an expert on this topic so we don't want to steer you the wrong way. Welcome to the channel. Next video coming up we tour some properties. Stay tuned.
