- Hello, beautiful flowers! Today's video is...different. I made the tough, but hopefully right, decision to switch all of my REAL currency to FAKE currency (prop money). Yes, I know this money is not real. In this video I am going over the reason's why I am switching to prop money. Prop money is the answer to what’s been stopping me from diving into budget planning. I knew I wouldn’t go in to pay cash every time I need gas. 😂 And I have a couple of bills automatically deducted from my bank account so I couldn’t wrap my head around how to fit that into the whole cash envelope system. Thank you for sharing!
Yes! Thank you! Im not comfortable toting around cash for safety reasons. Plus time is money so if you've got that extra hour or two a week to mess with going to the bank etc. Then fine, but that extra hour or 2 could be making me money. Ill keep my eye out for full size play 💰
I've been thinking about switching too, especially for my sinking funds. It's definitely safer and you get to earn interest in a savings account. I hope it works out for you!

Safety and convenience is most definitely the reasons why I’m thinking of changing too! I also want to look for savings account that can pay me back for even just having my money on their.

Great to see someone using prop money 💰 I rarely handle cash and use online/cashless/ credit/ debit transaction probably 99.99% of the time. Just extremely convenient 🙂

I learned of prop money, not even an hour ago, and I think this might get me doing cash stuffing. I could never get behind the idea of carrying all that real cash on me but I love this.
The only problem with the prop money is that it doesn’t feel the same as real money. It’s not easy to count and it sticks together.
Do what’s best for you and what works for you! I. Totally get being more convenient and not having to go to the bank when you work difficult hrs and can’t make it yo the bank.
Stop worrying about what people are thinking about. They are paid for a service 😊

I think it would be better if there was a better alternative to prop money instead make a cash envelope money. Do you ever have to worry about prop money being in your pants or on you eventually being washed in the washing machine. I mean this prop money is to indicate your money is in your savings or checking accounts. If there was prop money specifying its in bank and the value of it in white and black. It should be impossible to mistake the money for real money. The only reason to have it to look real is if you are worried about someone stealing it. The place I work at uses anti counterfeit bill scanners. Also I recommend everybody to use the know your money link from the secret service. My only fear with using prop money is you use it in real life. I wish there was something in between prop money and Monopoly money.
