That is a Jewel Tea bowl.. Those are highly collectible. The Jewel Tea man would come to your door with a variety of goods to sell. My mom had bowls like that from the early 60's. I had a Jewel Tea man up into the early to mid 70's..My dad had one or two of those bowls still in the cabinet when he died in 2015.

You never open the compacts it ruins them they only had powder in them and couldn't close with even a dime inside. So it is best to leave as is clean up for display.

That called a trace chain. For attaching horse or mule to a plow or buggy. 1800's -1930's Trav Jr took the day with the ring finds.
