Lana said She always sang about her past. When she got to record lust for life she was finally caught up to her present life and got to sing about where she was in the moment . Hearing her story from start to finish via albums is beautiful
lana described NFR as the perfect album to walk on the beach to and not really having to worry about 1 big song. they’re all meant to be cohesive. and like that is honestly the most accurate description. it’s such a beautiful album to play all together. it’s definitely one of my most played albums, i start from beginning to end and i’ll listen to it about 5 times😂 it’s just very easy to listen to and it’s so beautiful
Definitely, last summer I played NFR at the beach and it went PERFECTLY. It was beautiful and even went well with the sound of the waves and everything
I cried so much first time I listened to change and I still do almost every time I listen to it years later. And let’s not mention how much I bawled when I heard it live 🤦🏼♀️
I can’t believe you didn’t recognize Sean’s voice! It’s so similar to his dad’s. Definitely listen to the entire record in headphones if you can. Especially Heroin!
NFR is mostly piano based and slow, but it's her BEST work. I never thought she could beat Ultraviolence but for me, she did it with NFR. Can't wait for your reaction!!
I’m so glad you loved Beautiful People, beautiful problems, for some reason a lot of her fans didn’t really like it. Not sure why, I loved that song. Definitely one of my favorite songs off of the album.
white mustang is about g-eazy hahaha. theres a video of her doing the song live ( shes over him i guess), where she follows with "and it wasn't even that good!" after his record dropping line. shes shaded him a couple times live lmaooo

Lana has been my fav for years and she is the reason I found & subscribed to your channel. I love that you go into any song you listen to so optimistic and I love love LOVE your reactions. Your positivity is fantastic . Keep it up! So glad you've been reviewing her 🖤
First time I heard “change” I teared up! Lust for life is such a beautiful album! Lana knows how to write amazing music! Her voice and storytelling is incredible!! It always changes form what song I like most depending on my mood.
there are people in my circles that like Lana, but nobody is obsessed with her music and art like i am. I listen to her every day without exception and i love watching people loving her music, it just makes me so happy lol. I love every song she ever made (maybe there are a some unreleased ones i haven't heard), no exclusion. Each song i have heard has been my favourite and on repeat at some point of time. I have never been so in love with an artist this much for years and years of repetitive plays and NEVER got bored of her music. I will be moving to California in my near future and i cannot wait to drive somewhere in Topanga in solitude and listen to her masterpieces.
im pretty sure the title track was actually pretty big, i remember hearing it on the radio all the time when it dropped, it has a good amount of views too
Sean is John Lenon's son, and did u know radio head sued lana in 2018 because they said her song get free in this album was similar to their song creep.
@@brucepenix4497 No. they did sue her. It was settled outside court and the writing credits weren’t updated. They wanted 100% of the royalties and she’d offered 40%. Of course, Creep was sued for copying “The Air that I breathe” (for which the writing credits were updated)
Sean Ono Lennon is John Lennon’s son Lol they sound so similar I thought you would of heard it right away! But omg finally you did a Lana Del Rey album reaction can’t wait for more!!! Thank you!! And idk who white mustang could be about (probably G-Eazy they went out I think and he’s in a music industry)

You should react to 'Live Through This' by Hole. Lana used to tour with Courtney Love (lead singer of Hole, Kurt Cobain's ex-wife), and Live Through This is like one of the best rock albums of the 1990s. Period. Glad you liked Lust For Life though, she may be a little tone-deaf when it comes to politics on this album, but she definitely gave a unique mix of sounds, lyrics and vibes
ive been coming back to see all his reactions on lanas albums and immm so happy shes amazing shes so underrated thank you for actually giving her music a chance
LFL is the album I revisit the least. With the exception of Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems and a couple other tracks. It’s also the only one I don’t have on vinyl. NFR though, phew. That album is a masterpiece. Really looking forward to your reaction to that one. Also, if you want another, and in my opinion better, A$AP and Lana song then check out Ridin’.
Always takes me 3 listens before I start to get a LDR album. My favorite songs on each album change as I hear the album more and more. You will love NFR, I think it's her best work. And don't forget her 200+ unreleased songs, your journey of her music ain't done after NFR.
If you enjoy Lana I think you should react to Marina and the Diamonds. Very different sound but she has great lyrics and themes like Lana. Her debut project the Family Jewels is such a vulnerable and beautiful yet unique and quirky alt pop album.
I feel like you strategically did her videos like this because I'm like legit excited to hear your response on it! I see what you did there...and I'm not mad at all about it... but I am ready man! Lol
Let *Get Free's* outro fade out to *Norman fucking Rockwell* ✨ She ends Get Free with "out of the black, into the blue" and in NFR she talks about being blue.
So! Now bare with me cause I’m going to go off on a tangent! This album came out as tensions were rising with the US and North Korea so it takes on a very political tone; you will notice her lyricism in certain songs like, “When the World Was at War.” She brings up past wars and what it took to come out alive and or what it was like to be home during. This isn’t my favorite album but it has so much depth and meaning that I think it’s over looked. Not a lot of artists take on such involvement in the current state of the world and make it art. Definitely sit down an listen to the album again to get the full impact! Lana has such a way of translating chaos into beauty it’s intoxicating. Sorry that was long. Love your reactions and love your intuitiveness on beautiful artists ((: much love!
When your finished with NFR, please check out her unreleased music! It is amazing what she created as Lizzy grant and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with her diversity and art.

He came to her Jones Beach show to perform the song, and he looks just like his father too! It’s kind of scary. But it’s awesome.

Lol! Do we need more proves she’s the last real songwriter ? 🥹
White Mustang is about G-Eazy

you're gonna love NFR. it battles with Ultraviolence in being her best album
