Last ferry to Macau is at 18:00 daily. You will have to enter Hong Kong (clear Immigration, collect your checked bags and clear customs). Once you enter HK you have two options: Option 1 - By Bus to Macau via new Bridge - Take taxi (or public bus A21) to Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macau Bridge Passengers clearance building. Take Bus from there to Macau. This is a cheaper option. Many videos available on TH-cam on how to take bus from HK to Macau...check them out. Option 2 - Ferry from Hong Kong City to Macau Take Airport Express train from Airport to Hong Kong Station. From Hong Kong Station take Taxi to Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal (5 mins). From Macau Ferry Terminal take ferry to Macau. This will be expensive and might take much longer than option 1. Both options are available 24 hours. You will have to leave HK again after entering HK (means double Immigration & customs). Passport is must to enter/leave HK or Macau. Hope this info will be helpful! HAPPY TRAVELS!!

Hi. I'm flying to HK and will be arriving very early (1am) .Can I go to Macau by ferry without passing immigration then sail back to the airport later that day and pass through HK immigration?
No, last ferry to Macau from HK Airport is at 10PM and First Ferry is around 11AM for Macau.
Also Ferry between HK Airport and Macau is for transit passengers only. One could not enter Hong Kong using this ferry back to HK Airport.
There are other ferry available to go directly between HK and Macau from City with their own immigration counters both sides.
Our Hipfig travel guide video provides this kind of info (except full ferry schedule) in detail.
Hope this info is helpful! Happy Travels! 👍
Iwill be arriving at HK Airport on Nov 2nd 2018 with flight scheduled to arrive at 11.30am. Is it advisable to pre-book the ferry tickets to Macau for the 1.15pm departure time?
Yeah, you can pre-book/buy ferry ticket to make sure that you have seats on 1:15PM ferry.
BTW... you will have to visit Ferry counter at HK Airport to pickup Ferry boarding pass and make sure that your Checked-in luggage gets transfer to Macau ferry.

I'm working in macau and I'm flying from Katmandu to hong kong . I'm Nepalese passport holder do I need a transit visa to get airport ferry to go to Macau ?
We are not Visa experts...but no Transit Visa needed at HK Airport for taking Ferry to Macau. This is like Airline transit to the next flight/Ferry.
Nice video
Strange no immigration when you depart to macau from hong kong Airport
You will never enter Hong Kong (Immigration) as this is for transit passengers only.
Not sure about the latest status.
@@Hipfig hope hong and macau open up soon
When will they open u think?
We also hope that HK and Macau open up soon.
@@Hipfig but when? Doubt they will this year
@@Hipfig what if someone has a flight from hong kong , if u go back to hong kong airport from macao do you need to clear immigration? or there is a chech in area before immigration?
Hello Thank you for your information, but I have 2 question
1. What is the price (in HKD) for the ferry ticket from Hongkong Skypier to Macau?
2. So I have booked my ticket plane to arrive in Hongkong first, and if I use skypier (to Macau) that means I will not pass Hong Kong immigration right? I'm planning to go back to Hongkong (from Macau) a day after, but from Taipa to Sheung Wan Hongkong, am I gonna get trouble because I will never pass Hongkong Immigration?
Thank you for your time,,, really looking forward to hear from you again!
1). Hong kong Skypier to Macau Ferry Ticket Price - HKD270/Adult for Economy and HKD435/Adult for First Class as per Ferry website: www.turbojet.com.hk/en/routing-sailing-schedule/hk-airport-macau/sailing-schedule-fares.aspx
2). Correct, don't cross HK immigration if you are taking ferry from Hong kong Airport Skypier to Macau ( this is just a transit). No issues coming back from Macau to HK with HK immigration. Macau and Hong Kong has independent Immigration and Customs departments. It will be like entering new country when you enter Hong Kong from Macau.
Hope this is helpful! Happy Travels!
@@Hipfig Thanks a lot for the information :)

hi, how about our luggage when heading to the macau ferry ??
We guess you missed the luggage transfer section for Macau Ferry in this travel guide.
At Hong Kong Airport's Macau Ferry Counter, give them your Checked-in luggage receipts (for arrival flight) and they will transfer your luggage from Hong Kong luggage belt to Macau Ferry.
We suggest watching this guide (if needed in detail) to understand process on luggage transfer and checking transfer status at luggage machine at HK Airport.

Hipfig Travel-Channel so i don't have to claim my checked baggage when heading to the skypier ferry? Will they transfer my checked baggages to macau by scanning the baggage tag, which I will have got at the check-in of my departure? Is there a tracking number available? How do I know when my baggages will arrive at Macau Ferry?
Can we take our luggage and board our ferry ⛴ plz tell 🙏🙏
You can take your Carry-on luggage on Ferry with you. Not Checked Baggage as you will not enter Hong Kong (will skip Hong Kong Immigration, Baggage Claim and customs). You will have to ask Macau Ferry Counter person to transfer your Checked Baggage to Macau Ferry. Happy Travels!
But the baggage tag will be on my checked in luggage so what will he scan
You will get one tag for yourself as receipt for checked-in bags at the time of Airline check-in at your departure airport. That Receipt tag for checked-in bags will be scanned by person at Macau Ferry counter at HK Airport.
Hope this info helps!
