- Join me on an epic solo journey from Milan to Palermo, Sicily! This 21-hour trip took me on a first-class sleeper train, and we even got to board a ferry to get to Sicily. The train ride continued once we reached the island-such a cool experience!
I enjoyed amazing views of the Italian coast, cute villages, and beautiful nature. I had a deluxe cabin all to myself, which cost 122 euros plus one day from my Interrail pass. It was super comfy for the long trip.
Once in Palermo, I had a tasty meal-12 euros for pasta and cola, and 3 euros for ice cream.

Looks like you had a great trip. And some very good food.
This was one of my favorite trips. Loved riding by the coast. And the food, especially the ice cream, was one of the best I had so far. Thank you
Nice rooms en how the trains gets on the ship! Thanks for the video!❤
Thanks! Glad you liked it. The room was cool, and watching the train get on the ferry was awesome!

great ride!
Thanks, I really enjoyed it.
Did the same route 2 years ago but visa versa!!
That's awesome. How was your experience? Did you had a good time? It's such a beautiful route.
At 12:59, this is the Santuario di Cristo Re (Shrine of Christ the King) can be seen there. Fallen soldiers from the world wars lie there.
Thanks for pointing that out! I had no idea it was a memorial for fallen soldiers. The architecture looked lovely from a distance, you can't miss it. Appreciate the info.
Did the A/C cool the room enough to sleep?
Yes, the A/C cooled the room enough for a comfortable sleep. After departing, it got cooler in the room and worked really well throughout the night
@@LetsgowithD Thank you; that was really helpful!
