2:05 This part made me cry. When I remember Ed wrote this song inspired in his grandfather, I feel sad; Because I think I wouldn't live without my grandpa and I also think that for Ed it must be difficult to sing "Afire Love" without breaking into tears. I couldn't do it...
Ana Laura Nery That was some deep growling Marvin Gaye soul right there! How a British ginger taps into so much black feeling I don't know, but I love it!
+Chris Shmitz From a number of his interviews and In his appearance Desert Island Discs his main influences seem to be:- Guitar - Clapton Song writing - Daimien Rice, Eminem, Van Morrision and Foy Vance Live Performances - Nizlopy Vocals - Stevie Wonder
One thing that annoys me about concert-goers is that, whenever there's backing vocals like in this, where you have a choir or crowd of people singing IN the song, SINGING backing vocals, for some strange reason, the people there that know all the words, DON'T sing the backing vocals. For example, up until 3:32/3:33 they were doing fine, but after that, they should have sung the "Hallelujah" backing vocal with claps, just like in the song. Especially at around 3:45 and onwards when he goes "and all my brother's and my sister's...... riiiiiiise (or words to that effect)" in the song, you can clearly hear the claps and the choir singing "hallelujah". But the crowd started screaming and fangirling over his singing. People do it a lot at 30 Seconds To Mars concerts. Songs like Kings and Queens, This is War, City of Angels and the ULTIMATE crowd-singing song Vox Populi. It's like, I know you love him, but don't you think it's more amazing to be singing the song with him, the way it's meant to be sung? Especially when a singer can sing the same way they can on the album/song on stage, and the song sounds exactly how it sounds on the song, but you're a part of something? Thousands of people, in tune, in love with the same song the same singer, singing as one. I dunno. Maybe it's just how I'm feeling coz I'm feeling kinda lonely atm hence why I'm listening to Ed, but it kinda got a bit too annoying for me. Thought I'd see if anyone felt the same way.
Yes, this also bother me. "What happen? Why some people say that it bother?" Well, I say that this people maybe can't go to one of his concerts (I'm including me) for several reasons (for example, I don't think that he would come to my city, although I would like it). And this people must conform with videos like that, in wich you can hear more screams than Ed singing... pd: I'm Spanish and my English not be the best... So, excuse me.
Things were all good yesterday And then the devil took your memory And if you fell to your death today I hope that heaven is your resting place I heard the doctors put your chest in pain But then that could have been the medicine There you are lying in the bed again Either way I’ll cry with the rest of them. My father told me, “Son, It’s not his fault he doesn’t know your face, You’re not the only one. Although my grandma used to say That he used to sing… Darlin' hold me in your arms The way you did it last night And we'll lie inside For a little while here oh I could look into your eyes Until the sun comes up And we’re wrapped in light and life and love. Put your open lips on mine And slowly let them shut For they’re designed to be together oh With your body next to mine Our hearts will beat as one And we set alight We’re afire love, love, love Things were all good yesterday Then the devil took your breath away Now we’re left here in the pain Black suit, black tie standing in the rain And now my family is one again Stapled together with the strangers and a friend Came to my mind I should paint it with a pen Six years old I remember when... My father told me, “Son, It’s not his fault he doesn’t know your face, You’re not the only one. Although my grandma used to say, he used to sing… Darlin' hold me in your arms The way you did it last night And we'll lie inside For a little while here oh I could look into your eyes Until the sun comes up And we’re wrapped in light and life and love. Put your open lips on mine And slowly let them shut For they’re designed to be together oh With your body next to mine Our hearts will beat as one And we set alight We’re afire love, love, love And my father and all of my family Rise from the seats to sing hallelujah And my mother and all of my family Rise from the seats to sing halellujah And my brother and all of my family Rise from the seats to sing hallelujah And all of my brothers and my sisters, yeah And my father and all of my family Rise from the seats to sing hallelujah

Was he crying? Or is all happened in my head?
He seems emotional, and it may be that he feels pain when he sings it. Since that about someone he loves.

Ed looks so uncomfortable without a guitar
Because he performed with his guitar since he was 11. For a guitar player something important is missing here... 😢
don't touch me
Quien en español?
Черт , я расплакался
i can see his belly LOL.
But he still looks hot. his Beard is Dope.
this is when Ed decided that he was in health and overweight btw
