I was trying to figure it out until he got to the chorus. It just looks like power chords mostly (466, 244 etc). The first chord in the chorus has him on two only strings but he strums the whole thing and it sounds clean, so I'm guessing he's in an alternate tuning. He plays "One" in DADGAD tuning so I might try that, but I'm very new to tunings so I'm hoping someone will figure it out first :/
I've submitted a chord sheet to UG that's awaiting approval. For now, I'm using Cm A# G# D# Fm. In this video he's got some weird stuff going on (a 456xxx chord) that I don't have the skill level to decipher, but those (barre) chords sound pretty close to the album to me. I'll switch to the correct chords when someone has figured them out, though (*'-')
He does C# power chord ( Which is actually B) and does not use the pinky at all doing so. So, it's C# > B > Em > A ( note, the A he only presses down the C string). He also does this transition chord of F#m before repeating the progression. For pre chorus, it's A, A, Em, B. Chorus is C#, B, A, Em. He does a F#m as well and just as the chorus ends he does F#m to A.
Pretty sure it's all a tone down. So rather than EBGDAE it's DAFCGD. And then in the studio version and other live versions it's D#A#F#C#G#D#. There may be something else going on with the (normally G) string though. This is the tuning I use though and it works.
