Bike sounds great!! Nice relaxing ride… I like your smooth, not unnecessarily fast riding style! And thanks for no music getting in the way of hearing the motor! Great scenery also!
Thank You, It has Vance Hinds pipes that were made back in the 90s. I agree about the note of that motor with those exhaust. The video is old. I'm wanting to make a couple hour long copycat this year. I could play that to sleep to.
Good sounding bike. I have a 93 Vulcan 88, looks aboit the same, also have a 03 Road King, but i still like the Vulcan and ride it just as much... happy trails!
MY GAWD that sounds amazing, Dork. I JUST got a 2004 Vulcan Classic 1500 that needs to go through the shop to get it up to safety, and I can't WAIT to ride it. I've never ridden one, but it balances so easily when I sat on it.
I put some older content on there a few minutes ago to hopefully hold you over until I put on some new rides. It’s older stuff. I have much better recording equipment now. I’ll be back posting new rides soon. Thank you for enjoying it.
It has Vance & Hines. Backfire is common especially with aftermarket exhaust and carbs. Unspent fuel from the combustion chambers have more of an oxygenated atmosphere. AKA “ hell raiser” sound. Thanks for watching and comment.
Which year is this? I just got a 1999, seems so hard trying to find info on this bike as everything I see is for the version that has the speedometer on the gas tank. A buddy of mine gifted it to me the only two main issues is I guess second gear doesn’t work and he said it would cost more than the bikes worth to fix it so he just skips second gear. And the fuel gauge doesn’t work. I’m a Harley guy myself so this will be my first Japanese cruiser but I honestly don’t know much about the bike and having a hard time finding things about the particular model.
Mine was manufactured in December of 1992 but I think it is titled as a 93. From what I have seen from this one and other Kawasaki stuff, this thing is like a tank. You have to work to break it. Going from first to third gear shouldn't be a problem with all of that low RPM torque. Enjoy your gift.
I used a GoPro 10 for the video and I used an IPhone in a thin backpack. I used filmora to synchronize it. Thank you for watching and commenting. Fingers crossed on your purchase. I love mine.

Thanks shvetes, I like your feedback. I’ll have to make more like it now.
This could be the perfect sound that a motor can produce!

Greetings from Sweden ... Great ride, I'm just waiting for spring to arrive here so I can take out my VN1600 again :)
“Sweden “, that is awesome. Thanks for the watching commenting.
Great Video and thanks so much for making it!! After watching so much garbage happening to our country, it was really awesome to relax and watch this.
I’m planning to do some more now it’s spring. Glad you enjoyed it

How do you make the speedometer appear on your cell phone?
Awesome video! Hopefully purchasing a Vulcan 1500 this next week. How did you get the bike sound without the wind noise?
