Do you think jax is a late game hyper carry ? The only thing that scale in his kit with damage is the Armor and MR, and maybe AS help you proct more ult passive but nowadays the only attack speed you built is from trìorce and situationally wits end, what make people say he's a hyper carry
Jax has a good late game because he does very good damage to squishy targets while becoming very tanky. He won't output as much damage as something like a Kayle, Gwen or Jinx late game. If that's your definition of a hyper carry then he doesn't fall into it. It also depends on the comp your playing against, late game Jax against 4 auto attack based champions is going to feel a lot better than playing against a ton of CC and ability damage,

Thank you, my dude! I appreciate it. E max for AP Jax pretty much. A big strength of W maxing is that its strong in longer fights, but as AP Jax we more want to play for short trades. E has 70%-140% AP scaling depending on how much we can stack it, so we really want to have it up every time we trade and maxxing it lowers it's cooldown significantly.
Sometimes going for plates can end up punishing you in the long run. If you're talking about 5:06, then going for that plate would've given Malphite time to crash a wave into my tower and I would've lost some minions. Malphite was even late to lane, he should've been there about 8~ seconds earlier which would've possibly secured him a plate, especially since the wave he would've crashed would've been a cannon wave. Maybe I could've gotten away with it since he was late to lane, but I can't predict that.
