I'm from morocco and THIS is 100% 🇲🇦🇲🇦, even in the smallest details (tiles, paint, decorations...), most simmers that build riads do some things wrong, but yours is totally right.

Just a little detail about Moroccan homes. They have colourful sofas that go round the whole room and table in the middle. They eat sitting on the sofas a shared meal without any cutlery by dipping pieces of bread in the pot. I worked in Morocco as a tourist guide for a while, so I got to see all kinds of palaces, houses and huts from the inside. The central courtyard is called riad. Very beautyful build!

Moroccoans and Arabians are two completely different things.
Confusing the two is just as dumb as confusing italians and french just because they are bolph white and chrystians.

Arabians are from the Arabian peninsula.
While the Moroccoans are from North Africa.
There are like, 7/8 countries between the two.

I wanted to have my own style, so I thought that opening and going through doors was a nice realistic touch, and I hadn't seen anyone else doing it before. For that I made my sim call over a pet from the other side of the door (now I use only my sim who I've made completely invisible using some CC).

It's so beautiful and look so realistic....! I never lived morocco or other arabic(?) country but it is seem so realistic. It's like the house I saw in the documentary.

This is stunning! All the little details and the decor is spot on! The colours, and I love the sitting area with the floor cushions. Perfection! I could literally feel the warmth of the Mediterranean sun as we 'walked' through the house! I love it!!
I'd love to see you try a similar style, but a Tunisian house, with the whites and the blues. I've built my own family's Tunisian house but it's pretty simple compared to the 'high end' traditional houses you get. Anyway, you're an inspiration, and thank you for sharing!!!

I'd like to see more of this style of showing us your builds! But just wanted to say that I think the transitions are too fast? It makes me kinda dizzy and I think we could appreciate the details of the room more if the shots could stay for like two seconds or more. Anyway, just my opinion I hope it helps! I absolutely love your builds and you're definitely one of the builders who deserves more views and subs!!!

I really wanna stay in a Moroccan styled home! Saw it in documentaries and travel show and I think this is accurate! Can anyone tell me what expansions/stufff packs needed for this build? I only have City Living and Seasons for now. Dont think it has all those doors and beams etc

It has objects from the following packs: Get Famous, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat, Toddler Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Kids Room Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Cool Kitchen Stuff, Perfect Patio Stuff, and Holiday Celebration Pack. Perhaps you can build something similar, since we now have stair tools and Moroccan stuff in Base Game.

Expansion packs: Get Famous, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work;
Game packs: Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat;
Stuff Packs: Toddler Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Kids Room Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Cool Kitchen Stuff, Perfect Patio Stuff;
Free Stuff: Holiday Celebration Pack.
The structure itself relies mostly on Jungle Adventure and Get Famous (parts of the staircase). Also Get to Work (for the small windows, but these could be easily replaced) and Cats & Dogs (if you want the ceiling beams).
I truly believe that anyone can build awesome houses - it just requires some practice and inspiration :)

Are those stairs you used with the tiles on it cc or an expansion pack?
The stairs are from Base Game. I built this house before the stairs update, so the landing isn't a part of the stairs, I made it with floor tiles (these are from Base Game too). You can see how from the tutorial I made: th-cam.com/video/QSiifpH12II/w-d-xo.html

Thank you for watching! 😊 The game has had so many great updates after I built this house. Now it's much easier to make a u-shaped stairs and there are new Moroccan objects too. So I was thinking that I should build a new Moroccan inspired house (I don't know when yet) instead of making another video about this one. Thank you so much for putting that idea into my mind!!!

It could be that you might be missing some packs that are used in this build. For this house I used the following packs:
Expansion packs: Get Famous, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work;
Game packs: Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat;
Stuff Packs: Toddler Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Kids Room Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Cool Kitchen Stuff, Perfect Patio Stuff;
Free Stuff: Holiday Celebration Pack.
You can still download the lot even when you do not have all the packs, but then some items will be missing or replaced.
