The title of his auto-biography, "American Prince" says it all! So full of himself! Janet Leigh once said one of the reasons she divorced him was his out of control spending habits since he had grown up in near poverty! May he rest in peace, something he didn't have much of in his life, inner peace,hence his addictions~
He was a handsome man. I like some of his movies. He had an extreme NYC accent that did not fit in some of his acting roles. He had a sad ending in health and looks in his later years.

There are always excuses for bad behavior when you want them to.. We grew up during the war bombs all around us. The Dad fighting . Mom trying to feed us. We didn't join gangs or stole in stores. I never liked what I heard from this guy.
He was a second rate actor in mostly B-class films, but he was so full of himself. Very good looking when he was young, but he aged so badly.
