    The Bank of Canada released a report about a tariff war with the U.S. It said that the Canadian unemployment would rise between 100,000-500,000 and have a negative growth up to 3% worsening the Canadian recession. If President Donald Trump stops foriegn aid to Canada, it could possibly push the Canadian economy into a depression. We are done with propping up the economies of other country's at the expense of American citizens jobs. We can produce everything ourselves.

      @@rahimmajid647 I believe that is a reference for the 2% of GDP that NATO countries agreed to contribute by 2025 and Canada is currently at 1.37% of GDP. This is why our President Donald Trump gets that Canada is getting "free defense" like the majority of the NATO countries have been getting for years off the backs of the American citizens. On a side note, the second major reason the United States has so many military bases around the world has been to help the economies of the countries with the U.S. soldiers spending their American dollars in those countries.

    • @rahimmajid647
      @rahimmajid647 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @ Ah... That commitment. This guy has been phrasing it wrong. There's no 2% contribution for NATO. It's a commitment to spend 2% of GDP on national defense.
      The US doesn't have that many bases in Europe anymore. And the ones that are left are mostly in Germany, Italy and the UK. There are only slightly more than 100k US military personnel left in Europe. And again, these are mostly concentrated in the three countries I mentioned. For many of the other countries in Europe where there are US military personnel, the numbers range from a few hundred to slightly more than 1000. To be fair, 100k soldiers spending their money in the whole of Europe isn't really making much of a contribution to a continent with a population of about 700 million, is it now?

    I am not an economist and you don’t need to be one to see how unpredictable the future is
    The well known branch of mathematics, Chaos theory states that in a complicated and sensitive system a small initial change can cause a significant and unpredictable consequence, the butterfly effect
    World economy is that complex and sensitive system.
    What president Trump is doing may cause significant and unpredictable change of the world economy, America included. And no country is excluded.
    What outcome would it be for your country? Unpredictable. The only certain consequence is when facing the unknown the world market crashes
