Honestly.. why do companies don't sell lace wigs with no excess lace, baby hairs done and everything ready to wear? I know I'm supposed to style to fit my hairline but gurl I'm so lazy and clumsy I would definetly take my chances on a product that was just ready to use. I hate homework.

I have 2 HairVivi wigs are I will testify that they are the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!!
If you’re new to wigs may I suggest buying a “cheap” wig first to practice on. That way you can bleach knots, color and cut hair and play with the hair line. I went and bought a +$300 wig and ended up having to color it 5 times, bleaching to knots cuz the color dye leaked onto them. Washing the wig to get the glue off destroyed the front lace so I had to trim it over and over again. Ended up trimming so much it barely fits anymore. Point being… for you first time wig installers, practice makes perfect. Now that I think I finally figure it out how to slay it, I’m re-purchasing the first wig I bought. Hoping to not ruin the next one.

When you glue the wig down, do you then wear it for multiple days and sleep with like a cap on? Or do you go through the entire gluing it down process daily? And how do you remove the glue to take the wig off? New to wigs and I'm starting pretty clueless. :)

This helped me A LOTTT. I have been following so many conventional methods for so many years and still didn't have a great result. Each to their own but seeing as i had the same mini scissors as u, i cut my lace with them and not the razor. It worked out sooo good. Thank u for the tutorial. New subby...❤

Yes helpful, i was cutting all of the lace off not leaving a little bit on like you did & the ear tabs are the hardest for me too i messed up a $700 wig bc i cut wrong around the ear now i have to wear it a certain way to fit smh

I love the verbal instructions they help bcus im a newbie and im severely challenged with this lace stuff. I don't want to glue down my wigs bcus I have a very low hairline that is extremely thin now due to surgeries and meds. I dont want to pull out the little I still have. Currently I keep buying wigs that look gr8 on the website and model but not so gr8 on me. I'm not into makeup but I will wear lashes liner and tinted lip gloss.

I'm new to wigs. I tried to tweeze a lace front and a hole tore in the lace. Had I grabbed too much hair? Or are some brands of lace just sturdier than others?

How do you install the wig without the edge being shiny from hold spray or glue?
Personally I've found cleaning the edge with alcohol works best for me. I really take my time with this part and even go in with q tips to get as close as possible

Some things i can think of is maybe, not using glue, washing them regularly (no vigorous scrubbing and of course, gently detangle before you get it wet), let them air dry rather than using blow dryer, always use heat protection…..

@msroshposh thank you for this video. Very helpful. I would also like to see best care, but to include best storage. I am a beginner and would really like to do the right thing. Do you clean the wig up prior to storage or prior to wear? One person I talked to turns her wigs inside out, one puts them in baggies in drawer, and my aunt puts her favorites on Styrofoam heads. What is your expert opinion? TIA

The wig can be worn glueless all you gotta do is tighten the elastic wig band so it sits on your head firmly .
