This is yet another wonderful video. Its an in -depth look at casting and so comprehensive. Thanks so much Lee. Its simply another masterclass from a master.
Great video Lee, do you remember the guy with the Thai wife who had a pole coaching session with you and Andy Hartley. Well i,m that guy and I now have my own fishing lake in Thailand and I,m still married to the same lady. Your videos are the best and you are a great coach. Thank you, David
Thanks Lee and Preston for being us such awesome videos. Lee really presents and explains so well. Your tips sure improve my fishing Lee. I have more accurate and regular results with my casting thanks to you. This in turn improves my fishing and catching. Thanks again Lee. Tight Lines Guys
Dear Lee. I am from Holland and watch verys much all of your videos. Your videos are absolute the most informative videos I have ever seen. Question. Why dont you use tapered leaders.
I've watched loads of videos on casting and how to improve on it. I'm quite new to fishing, so still getting used to the basics. This video was very informative and give me loads of ideas on what I should do and try the next time I go fishing. But it did not show the thing I was most interested in. And that is what do my hand on the real and fingers do well I am casting when and were do I let my fingers off the line when casting? Is feathering the line important? These may seem like a simple questions, but my casting is rubbish and I would vastly I like to improve on it and figure out what mistake I am making. Any chance of making a short video on this
what about the hooklenght.. whenever i try this.. i always worrie about it wrapping around the rod. and things get messy. should i not doubt and just pull back?
Great video anda great explained technic. One question what size of tip are you using? 1,5 oz, 2oz, 3oz to get your target around 50-60m. Thanks a lot. Regards from Spain.
Tito Martin I have the 80g supera and I can easily cast a small 45g window feeder about 50m with the 1.5 oz tip, but I would like to know how far without it could really go.
Hi Tito. I use the 2oz tip for everything over 40m. The 2oz tip recovers quickly and prevents cracking off. The 3oz is used for rivers or very strong tow. The 1.5os is for short casting only. When you may have sensitive bites.
Hey Lee!You are a great angler and your handling is top!BUT in this Video you are far away from 120-130 meters that was maybe 70meters !We cast huge distances too on the feeder up to 150meters but not with a 3.80 rod and not that smooth and easy as you show there! Please make a Video where you cast like this 130m in the clip and i buy the whole range!#nohate again you are a great angler but the 130m you have to proof to me😎🙏🍻cheers mate!
Lee never claimed in this video that he was casting 120-130m or that this 80g rod could do it. He actually said he was casting 50-70m no problem and stated he only fished beyond 70m a hand full of times because its normally not necessary for bream fishing. Any further and I'm sure he'd of used a 100 or 120g version of this rod.
Thanks Preston, lee never fails to give amazing tips’ by far the easiest shock leader knot I’ve seen used

Question. Why dont you use tapered leaders.
Lee doesn't see the need to use them. He much prefers a normal shock leader.

Great video, just a quick question. Do you clip on these big venues when distance casting? Thanks
Yes, especially if you're looking to build a swim
Nice info Lee
But how would you go about casting to only 14 to 16 metres ???

Tito Martin great question, I also eagerly await the answer👍🏻
I have another question or doubt. Sometimes when I need get 40-50m I broke the tip, maybe it be my style of casting.
WAITING YOUR HELP LEE!!!

@@leekerryangling7250 thanks!!!
how would you feather the line with your finger (short casting no clip)for a left handed person
Would you use that not on braid to mono
Hello...wich one is better magnitude or extremity? Tk....
Both are great reels. If you're looking to cast longer distances the Extremity range would be the one to go for :)
he looks like stan laurel
Why not make subtitles available…..
Thanks
And witch knot for shok do you use if main line is braided line?
Lee uses a four turn water knot.
top...
I broke some tips trying to learn this method. The line turned around the tip and broke it.
