Recently, I purchased the El Gato Game Capture Card HD60s, but when I try to record the content in my DVR cable box I get a HDCP error, not sure if you are familiar with HDCP? But anyway, I was not able to record the content due to that issue. So I have another question with regards to the Thor Modulator. I order for me to record the content from my DVR cable box to my computer, do I need to follow the steps below? 1. Connect DVR cable box to Thor Modulator HDMI In. 2. Connect TV/Monitor to Thor Modulator HDMI Out. 3. Connect Computer to Thor Modulator NMS/Ethernet Port using Router/Switch. 4. From computer, access Thor web interface to access content being played on TV/Monitor connected to Thor Modulator HDMI Out and record content from Thor web interface. I'm just trying to picture the way this is going to work. All I'm trying to do is save the content I have in my DVR cable box to a Hard Drive or USB Flashdrive. Thank you again!
Cool video! Have you considered multicast / unicast to QAM modulators? They are MUCH cheaper and can take several multicast or unicast sources and modulate them into superstate QAM channels. This would work great with a PC that has a DVB card, IP security cameras, direct feeds from the net, etc. All being processed through one unit. Going from HDMI (proprietary) to QAM requires lots of processing and licensing and that’s $$$$
Can i use my RF digital dvb t source and modulate to analog RF tuner? For example: i have a RF source digital Rf giving me 10 channels and my old TVs cant tune digital, their are analog, can it modulate to analog and sent those 10 channels to my old tv?
I want to send multiple free IPTV signal in my home to other rooms over coax. Is there anything that I can connect to the internet and load the ip channels and it send it out over Coax?
I need something like this because most antenna set top boxes you see at Walmart that has recording capability does not have line in auto and video inputs like a VCR,so I can use this on DVD or VCR using anilog RCA output to RCA input on converter that changes to HDMI output then to input on this HDMI to set channel I won't to use so I can record old home videos on of air set top box to USB memery stick or hard drive without having to use a computer to record old vedios.

This is very interesting device. Would be a cool device to run local cable network 😆 Too bad its more expensive than back in the day with analog systems. Maybe this is also the reason why so many small cable networks still is analog.

Hello sir I accidently ripped out my coax cable so now I cant plug my Antenna in . Will this Rf Modulator allow me to connect my antenna to Rc cables to the back of the TV to get reception
I ripped mine out too! Now I'm only left with the hdmi inserts at the back of my tv. I've been trying to find a converter box to screw the coax cord into and convert it to hdmi for my tv so I can watch cable TV again.
I ripped out the coax insert thingy attached to the tv tho. Not the actual cable itself. So now I can't connect the coax to my brand new tv. I just wanna find out how to convert it to hdmi so I can still use this tv for Cable Tv
