Finally! I moved from London to Addis Ababa 3 years ago. Now have investments in Ethiopia, Kenya and soon in Tanzania too. People are sleeping on African countries because of the stigma and constant bad press. The reality on the ground is a vibrant, growing and exciting landscape for investments. If you go to any decent hotel in Addis in Ethiopia they are FULL of westerners and East Asian and south Asian investors. They know what’s coming in the next 10 years.

I plan to enter in the country with a passport, and exit with the other one, so they won't know I was out of the country. This is doable in a number of ways. Then I will apply for citizenship, and I will get my second passport. There is an African country where you can, instead, get citizenship if you marry a local, without hacing to leave in the country. You can eventually divorce after and keep the passport. I plan to pay an African woman a small amount, marry her, and get the passport, then divorce her. I'm very optimistic about Africa's future. Lived here my whole life, been to Europe, going to Tbilisi in June, but there's something about this continent. It is neck deep in problems, but I do not suggest underestimating how quickly things can turn around. Zambia is very promising, and South Africa has enormous potential. The African Free Trade Area and freedom of movement protocols will fundamentally change the game.

A word about background checks. Just because you have an American felony conviction, you may not necessarily be barred from residence or citizenship in another country. Murder, sex crimes, corruption, drug trafficking, and career crime are almost assuredly a disqualifier. Andrew interviewed a man with a US Federal felony conviction for explosives (misclassified fireworks) that is considered violent. He renounced US citizenship, is able to visit Japan, and has a visa to visit and stay in the US.
Then, there are others with no criminal convictions or charges anywhere in the world who are barred from entry, like US citizen Michael Savage, who are banned from entry to UK.
It's all a case-by-case basis. If you messed up by illegally carrying a gun in New York, got into a bar fight in Virginia where your attacker got stitches, or just failed to comply with federal regulations in a business, talk to a lawyer. Doors are closed to you, but not all.

And the passports like the Kenyan one, give you access to most of the world except the west. But for Asia, middle east, Africa and the Caribbean. I was in Europe last year and was really unimpressed. The control was too much. Europe is horrible for entrepreneurs. You should get a Kenyan passport, allows dual citizenship and has one of the best passports in Africa. Property prices are very high, same price as in the west, especially in the four cities. Taxes and corruption is very high! The latter could be good or bad for your business depending on the industry you're in.

Your video title is misleading because I was wondering if you meant "African Union passport" maybe. Just say Comoran passport since Africa's not a country. Otherwise, learned so much from your content and the quality of the video is top-notch. You got a new subbie

Unfortunately you can’t get dual citizenship in Tanzania. It’s sucks because I feel trapped being a Tanzanian. I will have settle for residency permits in other countries then I will denounce this citizenship.

@@beezowdoodoozoppitybopbopb9488 In Tanzania, there was no mask mandate under the late former President. Overall, health outcomes were so much better across the continent than it was in Europe or the States. Rwanda for sure. I have been to both countries (Rwanda - 2024 and Nigeria 2019). Kenyan in Europe but Rwanda is the most organised country I have seen. There are things to be improved, eg jobs for locals, but at least their government is functional. Clean and safe. Heaven for runners/joggers. I called the police in the middle of the night to complain about noise pollution and they showed up in less than 10 mins. Something that never happens in even Kenya or France.

@francisakali2101 What about the political risk though? Surely chaos will ensue when Kagame hands over power (if he does). Also they're trying to brush the issues under the carpet but there's still serious animosity as a result of the genocide and not to mention the rebel issue on the border with Congo.
