At 3:19 the helicopters join up to fly away after successfully ambushing the Wolverines…the rising swell of the music gives the sense of sweep and devastation of air power directed against the fighters on the ground. The scene was magnificent.
The Soviet Helicopters that are attacking our heroes in Red Dawn are actually Modified Aérospatiale SA 330 Pumas, that were used to depict Mil Mi-24 helicopter gunships, in the films Red Dawn, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III, in 1984, 1985 and 1988, respectively.
In my opinion, they looked the best in Red Dawn. Even though you can tell it's the 330s doctored up to look like Mi-24s, the big, boxy canopy of the Mi-24A made it look pretty damn close to the real thing. In Rambo II and Rambo III, as much as I love those movies, the "Hinds" look just goofy.
@@Cobra1098 They would've kept the canopy in Rambo II & III, but it inhibited pilot vision, and since the rambo movies had the choppers in more scenes doing all these big stunts, they had to take the canopy off for safety reasons.
Apart from Robert in Red Dawn and Rambo Part lll they are both on (Horseback) for this scene. But according to the study of the Animal Kingdom Society, this is a big abuse and killing as it was just featured in this show or movie is also based with article of the laws. But it shouldn't be feared or alarming for domestic wildlife, so let's respectful them and protect for us everyone in the whole world🙏🙏🙏...
I love how some of this track is a modification of the invasion music. Suddenly, they're not top dogs anymore. They're scared, on the run, and completely helpless, just like the first scenes.

I still don't quite understand that scene. It's as if he literally hit the crewman in the head with the rocket, and his body fell out, but somehow it didn't do any damage to the fuselage. If he had hit a couple feet more in any direction, would've at least crippled it's ability to stay in the air.

Robert died---but he went out like a goddamn BOSS. There was NO doubt about who was the badass in that scene! "WOLVERINES!"
Robert was my favorite I felt like that character and his pain I would gear up and get revenge on the enemies of where I'm from USA
