I remember when at one point Dora was to reach C5 from a couple models, and ofc who cannot forget about Otis? Otis was, earlier on in its life, either dead or barely alive from what the model output is saying... Even then, Otis in the models...
Speaking of EPAC seasons, EPAC season this year will start this Wednesday, May 15! The first forecast from NHC/NOAA should be next week, about the same time as the ATL, stay tuned!

Greg does NOT get retired. I say this based on the precedent set by Hurricane Gordon in 1994.
You can't directly tie the 1994 Haiti floods to Gordon, and you can't blame Dora for causing the Lahaina Fire. Both events were caused by multiple factors
Thus, Selma gets replaced by SWIPER.

Otis or whatever is equivalent to it won't be as intense in the WMHB universe, as most weather models didn't anticipate it becoming a hurricane, let alone reaching Category 5 status.
