Who else doesn't care what the palette is I just love watching her blend eyeshadow it's like I'm in class you do the best eye looks of anyone on youtube!
🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️ GUILTY! I already know I'm not buying this but looking for the looks so my boring self can recreate it with the shadows that are already in my collection.
I can understand why it would be in the Naked family. Imagine a naked body, which is represented in the nude shades, then turn off the lights and put an ultraviolet light over the skin or over the whole body. Different skin tones would show up as different shades of purple. The whiter shade looks like what white looks like under ultraviolet light. I think they did a good job with the color story and the light is like a wash over the skin, like the pigmentation. I might just be thinking too deep into it though.
I requested this palette for my birthday. I knew it won't be pigmented. It's for everyday average working consumer who wants naturals w a tiny hint of colour without looking crazy. Ppl who's either makeup collector/beauty YTber and/pro makeup artists don't like this palette at all. I like the palette, I find it I can get natural looks w a hint of colour without looking crazy for job interviews or at work. I recommend this palette.
I just got this palette, I just had too! It reminded me of old school, kind of "grungy" Urban Decay that I loved so much! You are right, this palette is perfect for someone who wants something colorful but still kinda safe. Great video, I'm going to try something like your look 3 today 😉

It is crazy how a brush changes everything...I watched some tutorials with this palette and it looked so so bad. I think the right brush is so important!
Glad to see your review. You created beautiful looks. I’ve heard negative reviews that some of the shadows being very dry, especially VR and the one lighter. Temptalia swatched it on her IG and it sounded like she was rubbing her finger on sandpaper!

I love how you style each of your three looks with and without wigs! “Euphoric” may just be my favorite shade. I love how this palette reimagines “naked” with color. Purple is a shade that looks great on every skin tone and I like that UD threw color at us in a Naked palette. It seems to be a trend for summer. I love that you showed the comparison color to Natasha Denona’s Tropic palette, because I was thinking the same thing! I am going to create a look with both “VR” and “gusti” today! Even though this palette is more BAM with the colors, I feel like UD is branching off by focusing on different colors with each new palette (cherry, honey, etc) and I'm here for it. I was super skeptical because I keep getting let down by purples, but this was a very helpful video!!!
I love your looks Mel, as always. I feel the bangs cover them up though. As far a NAKED palettes are concerned, I’m surprised there’s the reaction to purple when there didn’t seem to be much issue with the heavy duty pink/red/burgundy of the NAKED Cherry. I love both of them. I got the UDUV yesterday and have just started playing with it. SO much to play with!

Wow you look amazing in these colors. I wasn’t very interested in this until I saw you use that multi-chrome or special shade. It’s so pretty and unique Almost makes it worth buying the whole thing. 💜💜💜

I was received this ultraviolet palette for my birthday, can't wait to play with it now. I got the Honey palette and I was disappointed the gold lay to much on the green for me and didn't suit my eyes as well as other yellowy gold palettes.
Such pretty looks good especially with your pink hair I think I am definitely getting this palatte- not that I don’t have a lot of purple but this is different
Mel, did you get a totally different palette formula than everyone else?? 😂 You're the only person I watch who actually likes this palette! During your demos when I saw you applying those colors so easily, the same colors that Hannah and Angie could barely get to show up... And they use similar natural hair brushes and primers too! I was amazed you could get the colors to build on one another after watching those two struggle to build a structured look. Your swatches also looked really strong... I wonder if UD had a manufacturing error and messed up some of the palettes that went out!!

Lucid is my fave too... although I’m biased to greens shift shadows. And purples hence the reason I got this delish palette. It’s definitely great for me because I love bright eye colors but don’t like super bold looks.
